Our Philosophy

At Daylesford, we’re dedicated to growing, producing and cooking seasonal, organic food. It must be fresh, and full of flavour, packed with the many vitamins and minerals that come from natural food, picked and eaten at its peak.

As part of a mission to reverse the industrialisation of our food and the pollution of the land that nurtures it, we practise organic, sustainable framing with far less pesticides and herbicides on our crops. We do not use artificial growth promoters and hormones on our animals, and maintain the highest welfare standards.

Above all, we believe that when people eat natural, organic food, they can taste the difference. It’s a chain of goodness that begins with healthy soil, and finishes with healthy animals and people.

Our Farmshops

From high-quality larder staples to indulgent treats for special occasions, our farmshop shelves are full with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from our organic Market Garden, artisan bread made by hand in our own Bakery, award-winning cheese from our Creamery and fresh organic meat from clover-rich pastures.

Our Homewares collections are made by makers who are as passionate about sustainability, quality materials and elegant design as we are to create one-of-a-kind items for your homes and gardens, from the softest linens to the signature scents of our home fragrance range.

Our Cafés

Our organic cafés are the natural showcase for what we do on the farm. Here, our chefs make our produce the star of each plate, with seasonally changing menus and daily specials highlight what’s good to eat right now.

Customer service is lacking

Customer service is lacking. Delivery turned up damaged, repackaged by DPD. Of course, not their fault but contacted them as this was a gift and the label on the wine I’d purchased was damaged and another chocolate bar destroyed. Customer service advised that a replacement chocolate bar would be sent out but nothing they could do about the wine as a ripped label is satisfactory. No replacement chocolate ever arrived.

I was very happy with the mystery…

I was very happy with the mystery contents of my box. It was delievered on time and was packed very well.
The only reason that I didn't give you 5 stars as I thought it could have been more generous. I think a couple of more items should have been put in.

This box was very disappointing

This box was very disappointing. Other than him oud and Parmersan biscuits it was simply chocolates from Easter. The value of the box was more than I paid for, but felt I just purchased a box of sweet treats

The fresh items had imminent use by…

The fresh items had imminent use by dates. The bag with the buns arrived open. And DPD left the parcel outside the front door (did not ring the doorbell). Thankfully I saw him through the window. When challenged he explained they are authorised to leave the parcels outside.

The items arrived quickly

The items arrived quickly. I had been given a bergamot botanical diffusing oil in a glass bottle and the smell was amazing. This time the product is in a tin bottle and the smell is much more muted, can't really smell unless you go near the diffuser.

My purchase was a gift (unfortunately - my fault - I managed to put the account in the donee's name). The recipients were absolutely delighted with the hamper, which was the most perfectly suited for them. They videoed themselves opening it so they could share the experience with me. They continue to enjoy the contents, texting me to share their delight. A great gift, a great product. Many thanks.

You were unable to deliver to my home…

You were unable to deliver to my home in Aberdeen, this was only discovered after the order was completed. A refund was administered promptly. Other similar drink providers do deliver to my home.

First time customer via the Universal…

First time customer via the Universal bag. Slight issues at purchase stage but understandable due to demand at the time. Once transaction was complete, everything else was fine - from day of delivery to item packaging and quality.
