This is the second time I have been to the service department at Bolton Kia and things haven’t improved. Staff are disinterested and behave as though they’re doing you a favour. On both occasions th... See more

I will not recommend this Kia Brentford company to anyone very unreliable cars
I will not recommend this company to anywhere they sell the worst vehicles and doggy vehicles. About three months back I took my car into services and they didn’t services the vehicle they lied and said they did service it. I was keep hearing a loud sound on the front of my car I realise that the front screen wasn’t glued on properly I think they did it deliberately because I complained about the service. My kids and wife are always in that car so if I was to drive that car on the motor way at high speed that screen would have cracked right open on my daughter who is only 11 years old, she could have had a serious eye and face damage if that was to crack open on her and my face. I contacted them and told them that the front screen has no glue on window, they said to me the earliest appointment is in three months. So I called another company and they charged me £180 to re glue the front screen. The funny thing is that they told me that someone will call me on Monday which was two days later and it’s been now 2months no one has called. Don’t ever buy a car from them if you complain they will damage your car on purpose. Very evil people sorry to say. If I was to write about the car when I first purchased the car Kias garage had the car more then I did for about four months it was in the mechanic. Two months into purchasing the
Vehicle I was on the m25 coming from gatwick airport picking up my wife and kids from the airport and the whole braking system stop working and you could not increase speed or break properly. I was very close to crash the car into a lorry. I have all the emails and videos of the problems. I will never recommend anyone to purchase a car from them very evil people. To put my kids and my life in danger again very shocking.
A big thank you to Lee and the staff of Kia Peterborough
A big thank you to Lee and the staff of Boongate Kia, Peterborough.
I picked up my new Sportage on Monday and it had been beautifully prepared ready for me.
A warm and friendly welcome from Lee, my Motorbility sales advisor, as always.
It was an easy process to bring in my old car and do what was necessary for me to take away my new one.
I had the opportunity to over the new car before entering my pin and then Lee explained all the changes and new features since my old Sportage. Lee supported me with connecting my phone and before a final shaking of hands, Lee checked that I was happy with the car and confident I knew all about the new stuff.
I highly recommend Boongate Kia whether you are a Motorbility customer or not
The warrenty is not event worth the sticker its printed on
Air conditioning has stopped working on a 2023 Kia Niro.
Booked in at Kia Bletchley (UK) on 08/05/2024, I was seen on 27/06/2024. They identified the fault, however, parts are not in stock and have to wait for it to be made then shipped.
nearly 3 months later from initialy making them aware of the fault, still no air conditioning.
I was considering the EV9, but now I have had a taste of customer service, I will never consider a Kia again.
Sat Phull at Kia Brentwood - Excellent!
Just sourced and bought a used Kia Sportage from Kia Brentford dealership -- Sat Phull -- the salesman was brilliant from start to finish -- informative, effecient and helpful throughout the whole process -- made things very easy for me. Would highly recommend him to any one using this dealership to buy a used or new car in the future
Kia doesn't care!
We have had 2 new Kia's since 2017 but now, after getting our current KIA Sole EV, we've finally had enough... It's just way too much stress!
Trying to deal with the constant and ongoing software glitches, Kia Customer Service... and our incompetent local Kia Centre (Gravells at Narbeth), we have finally given up...
Today, after another week with the car's Charger Door/flap randomly refusing to open (so we couldn't plug in to recharge) was the final straw, discovering that Kia had updated their "App" and now we couldn't connect to check or access any information such as charge/range etc on the car...
I have repeatedly attempted to update/re register the new App but just says my car is registered to another App (presumably the old Kia App)... which we can't access anymore!
This is the final straw after two frustrating years trying to deal with Kia's endless software glitches and a Kia Service Centre that simply hasn't got a clue, we've come to the conclusion that Kia just don't care anymore! We will not be getting another Kia.
Worst customer service and useless warranty
Bought a brand new car with "7 year warranty". Car broke down when 2 years old. No Kia approved garages available to look at it for 2 months as only have one garage within 70 miles of 4th biggest city in Scotland. AA advised not driveable, contacted Kia customer services who advised not their problem to help out, they have in terms and onditions they dont keep you mobile whilst car being repaired so left with car can't drive, unable to be assessed by their approved garage for 2 months but paying for the pleasure of having a none driveable car. Unable to get to work as work a community job driving around and 2 cancelled holidays as unable to get there. Worst service ever with most useless warranty. Will never buy another Kia again.
Its almost impossible to get a service…
Its almost impossible to get a service slot within 8-12 weeks.... I have a new (1 year old EV6) with a safety recall and a charging issue... My local Kia dealership has no service slots f... after week 8 my car has broken down and Kia are doing me a massive favor fixing it... its been in for 4 days and its not been looked at yet.. apparently I was told that I should not call back as I was told they would contact me when they had an update... I will never buy a KIA again
amazing service and excellent advice…
amazing service and excellent advice very helpful and was able to get the exact car I wanted. wonderful customer service from Khalid.
Avoid buying a Kia
Avoid buying a Kia. I have received a safety recall notification, try to book an appointment that have been cancelled by the Kia garage 3 times for different reasons, they worded wrong part or some problems in the workshop. This ended with brakes and oil pump failure due to the safety recall ( just find out that I have no brakes while I'm driving, likely I was driving slowly in town and managed to stop using the hand brake). Now I have my car in the garage for 3 months and they told me that is gonna cost me around £12000 to fixed because also the engine failed. It's a nightmare. Also the for a booking at a Kia garage you have to wait 2-3 months . Avoid
This is the worst company every time I…
This is the worst company every time I go on for a service there is a huge problem they will not change anything.
Long story short I bought a high milage service plan oil change every year. I do 20k miles a yr. The service interval is 20k miles.
I did 16k miles in 11 months. Dealer refuses to change oil because kia says so. I have to pay for my own oil change. I only get an inspection. Basically nothing done.
Phoned kia says its upto dealer.
Dealer comes out and says we made a mistake oil gets changed.
But yes there was a huge argument
when my car has done 16000 miles and they don’t want to oil change because no reason
There was a huge argument too on my last service last year about a fuel filter kia cs no help .
A very simple service plan turns into the most difficult one.
I payed for a high milage service plan £150 more than the normal plan.
The high mileage service plan is 20k intervals a fuel filter change at 40k miles or before cabin filter none of these get done without an argument
My experience with kia have been horrible and not in a jokey way.
I honestly don't think the 7 year warranty is worth it for the service
. And yes kia the air filter hasn't been changed in 40k miles it should be. Surley not all manufactures r like this.
I honestly thought it be very simple buying a service plan in and out of dealers apparently not.
The brake fluid never gets changed either meant to get changed every 20k miles or 2 yrs
I had a problem with the radio on my…
I had a problem with the radio on my Kia Rio,as it was due for a service decided to wait ,so told the lady she said will get it looked at,she came back later said yes it was faulty and would order the part and there would be no charge, waited for two weeks emailed to find out what is happening ,go an email back saying the warranty had run out ,I said it is supposed to be a seven year warranty, not for the radio I was told
And the warranty had just run out the month before
And Kia was sticking to what they had said
So I will not be using Kia in llangeffni ever again in north wales
So my advice if you buy one to find out what is covered
Hugh
Cars broken down five months ago still…
Cars broken down five months ago still not fixed Kia garage Sheffield Pentagon two months and they said turbo issue. I thought they’re gonna fix my car paid private recovery took him to Huddersfield care garage. Pentagon three months didn’t fix yet. They ring me today and they said Engin problem so They can’t tell me when they’re gonna fix the car. It’s probably another five months. I’ll ring the finance company paying the finance and insurance roll tax. I don’t drive the car. I bought it car from Meike Moto. They said we need to go to deal with the Kia garage , when I ask Kia Garaj Kia garage says you’re not bought car from us so Michael Motor shouldn’t sell decor. God knows when they’re gonna fix my car. I didn’t get any help from finance company garage all day saying cars go warranty so that means they’re gonna fix in car in seven years time , biggest mistake in the car not the dealer big mistake to buy the Kia Av71fdg
1 year old Kia sportage that was only…
1 year old Kia sportage that was only bought 6 months ago has broken down. Warning light came on for the battery system and we took it straight to Stoneacre Stafford Kia who said they wouldn’t fit us in until 22nd July. Whilst sat there we spoke to 4 other Kia dealerships who said it would be a few weeks wait. On the way home the car broke down on a busy road with my 1 year old in the back. AA came and said the alternator wasn’t working and took us back to Stoneacre Stafford Kia where the service department had gone home and wouldnt be back until Monday. Spoken to them and they still won’t see it until 22nd July even though it’s now broken down. Spoken to Kia and they say that they will not give us a hire/courtesy car in the meantime as apparently the warranty doesn’t cover that. So after being sold a car that “is one of the most reliable” we are now without a car, no help from Kia, it’s now sat at Kia for a month until they look at it. No idea how long I am now without a car, that I’m still paying for.
I would NEVER buy a Kia again after this. If I could give 0 stars I would. Appalling customer service by Kia UK
Purchased a car in January
Purchased a car in January. Didn’t start twice within the first 3 months. Went to replace the battery and got told the brake pads were at 90% and needed replacing straightaway as the car could stop working any time! Contacted sales and asked how there were so many problems after only having driven 700 miles. Sales passed me onto servicing. It’s taken 5 weeks to get a prep centre report (not done online and no phone number at the prep centre). They have now said, after me chasing repeatedly, that the brakes were at 60% at point of sale. It’s impossible that after 700 miles the brakes have worn 30%. Nobody is taking responsibility and nobody has called me back. So almost £700 down the pan after 700 miles having to buy new brake pads and battery. Avoid
KIA NIRO EV
We recently had the pleasure of purchasing our car with the assistance of Patrick Hogan at BletchleyKIA, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we walked into the showroom, his customer service was impeccable.
Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable, helping us navigate through the various options and ensuring we chose the perfect car for our needs. His patience and willingness to answer all our questions made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
What truly stood out was his dedication even after the sale was finalised. He kept us informed at every stage and went above and beyond to make the collection process as seamless as possible. The personalised video he sent after the sale was a welcome touch, adding to the exceptional level of service.
When it was time to pick up the car, everything was prepared and ready, making for a swift and pleasant experience. If you are looking for a new car, we highly recommend seeking out Patrick at KIA. His exceptional customer service and professionalism are truly commendable. He kept us informed at every stage and went above and beyond to make the collection process as seamless as possible. When it was time to pick up the car, everything was prepared and ready, making for a swift and pleasant experience.
Steer well clear of Kia these days
Steer well clear of Kia these days.
Have a 70 plate Sportage and had nothing but problems with it.
Latest:
"Hopeless to put it bluntly.
Had to have my Sportage repaired at an independent garage as they couldn't fit in warranty work for 2 months - the issue was a failed injector seal, so diesel was leaking all over the engine.
This was after they'd rebuilt the engine using existing seals rather than replacing after the known timing tensioner issue"
Simply awful these days
Kia Parts supply is dreadful
Kia Parts supply is dreadful
Parts ordered to repair Kia Soul on 22/3/24
Kia unable to give delivery date for parts but after much prompting gave a June 3rd estimate. On June 4th estimate changed to 14 June for one part and 24 June for another. Given that the parts have not yet shipped the 14 June date is not actually possible as it takes 15-20 days for ship to arrive from Korea. Customer Services don't seem to care that their estimated dates are not possible. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Kia Garage Bury Sat Nav update…
On updating my sat nav it wiped out all information after trying several SD cards it still would not except them the Service Manager was excellent he would not give up on it he came everyday with different versions still no luck then finally he found a solution what a lovely person he is not many would go this far to get the car right for me definitely recommend this garage to everyone thank you again Margaret
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. Bought an EV6 brand new and fault on 12v battery. Over 3 weeks to even run a diagnostic test at any of the dealers within 30 miles!! Told me to borrow a family members car whilst it sits in the garage!!! Appalling service considering the car is only 10 months old. When I asked to make a complaint I was told there is only the customer service team and gentlemen ended the phone call. £50k on a car and this as an after sales service is criminal
KIA UK - a rogue company
KIA UK, absolutely abysmal experience. My not even 2 year old Stinger is literally disintegrating itself at less than 10k miles. Warranty is only good for - you guessed it.
Phoned GWR KIA to book it in for warranty repairs only to be told waiting times are 5-6 months to have the car "investigated". The technicians don't know what they're doing, I have to research problems myself. Waiting times for parts, even basic components are a month. The car is such a poor quality, it's shocking. No support for the vehicle even though it's a recent model. KIA UK won't comment or step in - zero passion for the product. They're happy to sell you a car but that's when things start to go sour. Do not buy a KIA, the cars are poorly put together, they stink inside of melting plastic and dealers couldn't care less. Buy a Toyota! We had our second car stolen which was a Lexus - it's a pity they didn't steal the KIA instead.
