If I could give ZERO stars I would

If I could give ZERO stars I would. ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE COMPANY.

My first issue with them was when they didn’t take out money from my direct debit and they didn’t let me know. I had no calls no texts about it. I only got a letter in the post saying I incurred a £25 charge or my insurance would be cancelled. It was no fault of my own as I always have the money for my direct debits in my account.

Second issue I moved from LONDON to PETERBOROUGH and my insurance went up by £200 even though I moved to a cheaper area. I looked for a new quote with them on the new address and it was much much cheaper but they told me there was nothing They could do but I could choose what I wanted to do to decrease my insurance which didn’t make any sense.

I saw a cheaper insurance company so I called to cancel my insurance and they said they would contact me to tell me about the cancellation fees. I didn’t receive any calls just a message saying my insurance was cancelled. I called them to talk about the charges because I didn’t want any surprise charges and they said I was in debt of £154 because i cancelled the insurance. Again no fault of my own. This was a cancellation fee then the finance company fee and some other fees that they made up. They then tell me I have 7 days to pay it otherwise it will be passed to debt collection

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. ITS ALL GOOD IN THE BEGINNING BUT THEY JUST SUGAR COAT EVERYTHING WITH THEIR CHEAP PRICES.

Writing a review for car insurance is…

Writing a review for car insurance is not easy because you never really know how good the insurers are until the worst happens. However, the price was among the cheapest, the policies and documents were available in a timely manner from an easily accessible online portal and the policy was clear and concise.

My experience with Debenhams car insurance is really good i do recommended.
i did recommended to some of my friends and they are happy with Debenhams car insurance the staff very friendly they are very helpful excellent.
