Rats had nested under my garden shed and were evident in the garden. I contacted Defender Pest Control on 16 February and they visited the same day. Director Tom Brown explained the method of dealing with these pests and set up the traps. After three visits no further evidence of the rats remained. A job well done.

Tom provided a very efficient and friendly service. Previously heard some scratching within the walls and found a mouse in an attic trap. We got a quote from Tom and on his first visit he arrived promptly and had a thorough look both inside and outside the property. He was also happy to carry out a check of the neighbour's property (as we're in a semi). Once he'd found holes, he blocked them all up and put traps down. We hadn't heard any scratching since and no more movement was found with the traps. Tom always arrived on time when he said he would and comes highly recommended. Thanks Tom!

We asked for Tom's help when rats came to stay in our loft over Christmas! Tom responded to our message within an hour, and was there the next day despite it being the Christmas holidays. I can't recommend him enough. He is so knowledgeable and thorough. He inspected all areas inside the house and outside and knew exactly what to do to remove/discourage our unwanted guests-I felt very reassured just within minutes of meeting him that he'd sort the problem and they weren't easy to sort-they were making noise at night yet leaving no signs of droppings or damage so it wasn't easy to know exactly what it was (rats or squirrels)! He's a great guy-very friendly, very respectful of your house and also aware of implications of using poison when we have a pet dog who will also try to eat anything! He organised to come back 3 times, same time each week and, true to his word, our house guests had left by his third visit. He's also blocked up any potential holes to discourage anything in future. For all three visits, he was always on time and nothing seemed like too much effort. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his job, and it was lovely to just know that he was sorting it all for us. Honestly, can't recommend him enough. Superb!

Fantastic service from start to finish. Tom was extremely helpful and reassuring that he would fix my rat problem in my loft.

Heard noises in the loft, went up to see mouse droppings and tried to solve myself with general mouse traps and bait from B&Q. Caught 1 but still noises in loft. Called Tom @ Defender pest control who was great and advised of what can be done. Tom was out the following day and set some poison trays in loft and under kitchen units (all safely as we have children). He then returned a week later, blocked up the holes he identified to be the entrance from outside and refreshed the poison. on the final visit we still noted some noises so Tom returned 2 weeks later for an additional free of charge visit. No more noises or signs of mice.

Tom and his colleague were always on time, informative, professional and considerate, not only wearing shoe covers but also mindful with noise when our baby was asleep during their visit.

Had a mouse issue in my loft two very polite gentleman came and dealt with the issue filled in holes around the house put bait all over my property and now all gone thank you for your excellent service will definitely use again

We had squirrels nesting in our loft. I telephoned a few different companies and Defender Pest Control came up with the best quote.
From start to finish the service was excellent. Tom made sure that not only our loft but also my neighbours loft were both free from squirrels and squirrel proofed before completing the job.

Tom provided a great service! He kept me informed of what was going on, did what he said he'd do, and repeatedly went the extra mile to make sure he sorted my pest problem out. It was stressful having a mouse invasion to deal with, and it was great having someone like Tom on my 'team' to make sure it got dealt with as soon as possible.

Excellent service - provided full explanation of process and as was very responsive and efficient.

Having bees in the attic is a bit worrying but Tom handled the situation very professionally. He explained exactly how the removal would be undertaken and how he would return the bees to a safe area. It is also reassuring that if any bees do return he would come out again free of charge.

The lads did a fantastic job of fitting mesh around our solar panels and clearing the gutter. They were very neat, professional and well priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Tom came out as soon as he was called and assessed the situation, explaining how he was going to deal with it and calmly carrying out the necessary work. He was very thorough, made sure the issue was properly dealt with and polite and reassuring at all times. The cost of the job also seemed reasonable considering the peace of mind I was left with once he was finished.
