My appointments are always on time and I feel like I've been listened to, my needs are met, and if I have any questions they're always answered.

Krisie always listens and goes over my labs and symptoms thoroughly. She is very helpful and patient with all my questions.

Dr. Caulkins seems poorly informed about female hormonal cycles. At one point, he suggested that estrogen is highest during the luteal phase of the cycle, when the exact opposite is true. He also suggested that testosterone alone is sufficient to increase estrogen levels via aromatization when there is 1) zero clinical evidence for this and 2) aromatization relies on high body fat percentage, which I don’t have. One wonders where he did his endocrinology fellowship.

The Doctors and staff here are great. Always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to listen and work with you. I've tried other places before and Defy has been the best.

I sought the help of Dr. Calkins at Defy Medical for bHRT because the two providers I had used prior constantly under-dosed me and only utilized delivery methods that I couldn't absorb. With injections, my levels have improved steadily, and the dosing is so easy to adjust, if needed. Also, previous providers never looked at treating my low thyroid, which definitely needed attention and was key to reversing some long-term, debilitating symptoms.
