Why are people using this service ? I have so many problems with them.. until yesterday managed to sort it out. However yesterday they refused to refund me over £16 they took out of my account. Reason because even though I'm clearly over 50, I didn't have photo I'd to prove ny age !!!! No one in the csll centre would ho me. The people at the end of email wouldn't. I had the worst service from deliveroo! been client for years now, but lately their service exceeded 0.
They have kept on transferring my call from one country to another (Some assistants handle benelux except france) and others handling France do not speak english. Insane internal misoperation.
Beyond that, the last two times my food delivery person isnt arriving.

I have made a wine order which I never received. When I asked for a refund, the Deliveroo team stated there was nothing they could do to help. Totally irrational.
Basically, the delivery person came almost 6 hours late, when I was not at home anymore. The wine bottles, which are non-perishable, have been charged to my account without ever being delivered. The customer service desk refused to help.

Cockroach found in food/no solution offered
I wish I could give Deliveroo.fr zero stars. We found a cockroach in our order from Saturday and of course stopped eating immediately.
I called Deliveroo, sent them the photos via email as requested, and they offered no solutions at all and it looks like I won’t get reimbursed at all for this (we spent 50€ on this order).
Very very shocking.
Happy to discuss this further with the support team as this is unacceptable.

Ordered at exactly 2:04pm, at 3pm I still hadn’t been delivered. Called customer service, managed to get an agent after waiting for 20 minutes who simply offered to cancel and refund. That’s what he did and I was left with no food for lunch. Great

Ordered 4 pizza for 62€ In Cannes. The pizzeria Green Pizza states that they gave them to the driver which never delivered! I have called the customer service: Pizza appears delivered, there is no compensation and nothing else we can do for you. This is the worse service ever. Will never use Deliveroo anymore!
German Doner Kebab through Deliveroo
Ordered German Doner Kebab through Deliveroo,and the order was incorrect, I contacted Deliveroo through the app and webcam,and I provided photographic evidence to let them know this, and that for dietary and allergy reasons the food had been thrown away, so I would like a replacement or refund. They have refused to give either,so I have wasted £26 on food I could not eat. Their behavior is disgraceful and basically they are rip off merchants, they do not want to take responsibility as the middle man and have the audacity to say they will let the restaurant know,good for them, avoid using them at all costs👎🏼

The level of service is beyond ridiculous. Our order did not arrive - the rider got lost and apparently left the order at some random place, god knows where. No response from the driver, no response from Deliveroo, no way to complain and claim refund. DO NOT use this pathetic excuse of a delivery service.

We tried App and Web versions, many credit cards and PayPay options, ln Wifi and Mobile networks...

The worst experience ever - stealing money
The worst experience ever. They claim to apply coupon of 12 euros discount at the moment of placing the order while they charge your card with the undiscounted price. They are fooling people and stealing their money. When you call the service center their reply is send me a screenshot of the moment you placed the order!!! How can this be possible??!!! They are asking their users to every time take a screenshot prior to placing the order knowing that when you have those coupons in your account they are automatically applied to your cart. Blaming a customer for a bug in their tool is nothing but a smart way of stealing others. This is the last time we will use their services and recommend you, reader, not to use it.
