Over the ten years that I used this I deleted my account twice in order to stop me from using the app. Now after not using it for 2 years I wanted to start using it again after moving to a new place. However, since my phone number has been used twice I am no longer to verify any account with my phone number. I tried to contact support and their only solution was for me to change phone number or use someone else's phone. I am totally disappointed in the support and solutions given to me. A customer for 10 years on and off and this is how I am treated. I am completely blocked out of using their service and unable to make an account. Completely ridiculous. Very bad service and I highly recommend people to never use this service ever.

Deliveroo shorting refund
Delivery from a grocery store had a missing item. Deliveroo gave an incomplete refund because their staff don't understand the difference between a credit and a discount. I used a credit to pay part of the order and they then treated that as a discount and took it from my refund. I have gotten an admission from the store that they did not deliver the missing item and I would be refunded. But deliveroo is refusing to complete the full refund saying they have "done checks". What check by deliveroo could lead to them deciding on only a partial refund where the vendor has admitted they did not deliver the item. Trust in deliveroo = extremely low. Try a different service provider.

Deliveroo - You should be ashamed of yourselves. You really do provide an applalling service - You've now managed to knock Ryan air off their top slot for hiding charges until payment. Free delivery advertised until it comes to pay - yes - spotted that one. Priority deliervy time - yes, pay more and end up with slower colder food - spotted that one too - never again. And nowhere do you advertise guaranteed stone cold food with no one to complain to - yes, sadly spotted that one too. Deliver us from Deliveroo - there must be a better service out there?????
Charged but Never Delivered – Still No Refund After Two Weeks
This was an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience. While on vacation in Paris, the driver falsely claimed he could not find us, even though we provided the correct building access code. He sent a photo showing the order supposedly left at the entrance, but when we immediately went downstairs, there was nothing there. The order was clearly never delivered.
Customer support told us a full refund would be processed within 48 hours. It has now been two weeks, and no refund has been issued. I have contacted Deliveroo three times and no one has followed up or resolved the issue.
The complete lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and expect this matter to be resolved immediately.
After two weeks without a refund, I honestly feel taken advantage of. I was charged 83€ for an order I never received.

Years-long customer, several negative incidences with Deliveroo. Two years ago I was accosted by a driver who wrecked my hallway. Deliveroo did nothing, so I stopped ordering for more than a year.
When I finally returned, a similar problem with an aggressive driver repeated itself within weeks. To boot, my entire order was ruined, yet there was no refund, no goodwill, just rudeness and incompetent customer service.
I will never use this company again. Rip-off prices for both customers and vendours, and zero improvement in driver behaviour over the span of several years. Avoid.

RIDICULOUS Client service
I used this app during years. I decided to delete my account then I changed my mind. I saw that it’s not possible to use my number cause it’s been linked to other emails. I contacted them but they do nothing to help, absolutely nothing, just sending emails repeating the same useless AI like message.
I’ll happily leave and ask my friends and family to leave also.
This is the least you can do for your clients.

Got a reason for not able to use voucher I was given as a present apparently the card only last 12 months from buying it so it has to be thrown away as it is useless then do not buy these for gifts they don’t have a use by date on card so I think it is a ripoff

Worst customer service possible. through the app you are unable to cancel an order yourself, even if it's less than 1 minute.
Other delivery apps are much more efficient.
Absolutely scam
Absolutely scam. Order 2 bacon cheeseburgers, fries and a coke from Fivrguys through the app.
Received one bacon cheeseburger, freezing cold fries and 2 cherry colas (dont drink).
We contacted both deliveroo and Fiveguys. Fiveguys said they would acknowledge the mistake and cancel the order with Deliveroo.
Deliveroo offered no resolution and will not refund us the money. Do not book with these guys, they are scammers.

It seems like they are trying to steal. On multiple occasions my card was charged multiple times after saying the payment didn't go through. When I contacted customer service, they said they couldn't refund me of help me.

Feel Scammed

I’m extremely disappointed and honestly feel scammed by this experience. I placed and paid for a full order that clearly included several items — hamburgers, nuggets, chicken wings, and a Coca-Cola Zero. What I received? Only one single Coca-Cola Zero. That’s it. Nothing else.
I contacted support, and you said you reached out to both the restaurant and the driver. The restaurant claims they gave everything to the driver. The driver says he only handed me one Coca-Cola Zero. This means that somewhere along the line, my full order — the one I paid for — disappeared.
I even have the receipt that shows the full list of items I paid for. It’s right there — not just a drink. And yet, despite all this, you’re telling me I’m not getting a refund? Or even a re-delivery of my food?
How is that fair? How does that make sense? I didn’t cancel. I didn’t make a mistake. I waited patiently for my food, received almost nothing, and now I’m being told there’s nothing you can do. This is simply unacceptable.
I’m not just disappointed — I feel completely disregarded as a paying customer. This is not how any delivery platform should handle a situation like this. I trusted your service, and I feel like that trust has been broken.
Please do the right thing: either refund me in full, or send me the complete order I paid for. That’s the least that should be done

I’m a plus member, I’ve placed 2 orders one was destroyed and the other was missing items. I wanted to claim refund or credit but they “couldn’t do anything” what kind of service is it? They ask for a photo there is PROOF the orders deserved refund or credit

Illegal activities. It's best to get your food yourself! Drivers steal your food every time they get a chance. The driver called my phone once, did not knock on our door or attempt to deliver the food at our appartment. I went outside to check if he might be there after getting the call, we saw him on the other side of our appartment. When we approached him, he said he cancelled the food and leftttt with the food. He did not want to give us the food. And deliveroo DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. We did not get a refund! How absurd. How is this company still legal and running? I understand why they keep shutting down in most countries. I give them less than 2 years before they go bankrupt!!
