Despite the fact that order came in quickly, we got delivery with missing items. We tried to claim on app about missing items but we were told that "they cant do anything about it" so basically its a SCAM, they dont care about customers, basically stealing from us... 100% never ever using this service again..

I am so shocked that they made a mistake with my order - I ordered something with no cheese because of allergies. They made the mistake and I asked if they could maybe send me the correct order but no - then they told me not to worry because I would get a refund - thought it was great but don’t believe them - I got an email the next day saying it won’t happen. So you make an order, they make the error, you need to go yourself to pick up and they lie. Don’t trust a good service for them and if your order is special be careful
Thieves
When it works it is extortionate cost.
When it doesn't work I would call them thieves.
I pay for a service, you don't deliver that service, then expect me to be happy about only getting half my money back.
An hour after ordering, I am delivered part of my order, which was inedible.
I then spent an hour disagreeing with customer services as they offered me between 10% and 50% of my money back. And still wanted me to pay delivery! Zero attempt to rectify the situation - no attempt to deliver some food. And I am out of pocket, down 2 hours of my time and my family are still hungry and have not had dinner.
I cannot express how ridiculous I find it that anyone would see this as reasonable!
I will not use this service again!

Driver delivered broken wine bottle cut my hand open
I snapped tonight. after copious barely-literate messages back and forth of him trying to find the address he finally delivered me the bottle of Rothschild wine broken, in a paper bag. Delivery was at night and I didn’t see nor expect it to be broken so when I took the bag it cut my hand open and wine and blood spilled everywhere. I absolutely lost my temper. Never again with these morons they don’t respect customers time or money. I needed stitches at the ER. Waste of space these ppl are. Deleted my account and never will order again.
Corrupt - Chicken Katsu was paid for but not provided
Ordered from Deliveroo and it was a total disaster. Paid for Chicken Katsu Curry that never showed up, and the rest of the food was cold despite paying extra for expedited delivery. Reached out to customer support immediately, only to be told there's "nothing they can do." No redelivery, no refund, no compensation—nothing! Ended up having to go to the supermarket to buy dinner.

Awful! Awful! Awful! Ordered shopping from local store and informed over half is out of stock. The order wasn't worth the fees after they removed most of the food. Deliver cancelled it for me but not my money. I used my last £30 on the order. They did not fulfil. Now they have £30 of my money and I cant order any food as my account is empty. They would not help or put any compensation on my account so I could eat. Just sent the same automated pre-written "thanks for your feedback". They charge £2.50 every order. Wouldn't even give a £5 good will.
Ordered something
Ordered something. The rider was about 200ft away from me. I messaged them to ask them if they were lost and requiring help. I then got a notification that there was a problem with my order and that was it. I messaged a customer service person to ask: 1) where my order was; 2) why it hadn't been delivered to me; and 3) why my rider didn't bother responding to my message and instead just took off. The person I was chatting with could not find out the answers to any of those questions for me, which, to be clear, wasn't their fault. They just didn't have access to any of that information. All they could do was apologise and refund me. So, Deliveroo might want to make it so that their customer service workers can actually find out the answers to their customers queries, because that's a pretty shockingly bed level of customer service for such a large company. Anyway, I think I'll try Uber Eats next time.
Such a bad and disgusting experience
Such a bad experience. The food came over 40 minutes late, cold and soggy. I was told that I would get a partial refund and then later told that wasn’t possible. Worst service ever and terrible food from where we ordered from.

3 hours from order to eating!
Deliveroo, Dage Claypot Noodles. Shocking service. From ordering (2 starters and 1 main meal) to eating was just short of 3 hours! The initial time estimate was 40-70 minutes, which was ok. Then the timeframe kept updating, creeping up and up in 20 minute chunks. Eventually the food order took 2 hours and 30 minutes, and then as the place was far away (not that I knew this, why don’t they only offer you eateries within a mile radius or so of your location?), the delivery was 30 minutes as the delivery rider was on a bicycle! Needless to say, when our food arrived and the delivery person got it out of his regular (non insulated) back pack, it was cold. The quality of the food was awful too but I’ll give the restaurant that review. Logistically, it seems that deliveroo does not have clue.

I tried to order goods from morrisons. It took 1 hour to put 9 items in my basket it was so slow it was dial up. I finally got to end opted to pay with PayPal. Twice it went through to PayPal. Twice nothing happened. It said review order and press confirm. But the confirm button does no allow you too. What a garbage website I will never use again.
