Deliveroo Don’t Use At All

Don’t use this company the rider hygiene is disgusting they stink they don’t seem wash or shower, never get close to one, their clothes they wear are filthy plus they tamper with food they’ve known to spit in customers food they’ve been filmed doing it.
When you get the food it’s cold the company needs shutting down as it’s down & outs on bikes.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Food never arrived and no customer service as chat was useless. I would nor recommend it. Romauld was not helpful on the live chat. Useless and rude.
Then WendyAn decided to chirp in to resolve this and was even less helpful if you can imagine. So far deliveroo paris has put me off deliveroo as a whole.

Food arrived completely soaked in soda…No refunds.

Food arrived completely soaked in soda which had fallen in the bag. Hardly edible… They refused to refund + their support chat is “not working” right now. Should have looked into this absolute scam before ordering from there. Lesson learned. (Nantes, France.)

I have ordered from Deliveroo for the…last 5 months with terrible delivery times and non-delivery of ordered product. 0 Stars

I have ordered from Deliveroo for the last 3 months here in Nice, France. I ordered food and waited for 90 minutes for it to be delivered and never got delivered. I had waited out front of my house for the delivery that never came and as I was standing in front of my house I got a message that they delivery person attempted to deliver and said I didn't respond. I messaged the Deliveroo and they said that delivery person made an attempt to deliver, which is clearly false and would not refund my money which was over 40 euro for the order. This is the worst delivery service and suggest and even worse customer service. I sent 3 chat messages and an email with no response to my inquiry. Do not order delivery through Deliveroo.

Ruthless Thieves that know what they are doing

Thieves that know what they are doing, I flew in from the UK my children had no eaten since our 4pm flight to Paris we didn’t get to hotel till 10pm and not only did my money get stolen my children where staved lied about attempting to call even the hotel manager calling him & driver pick up, never delivered nothing yet they lie say they left it in garden hotel has no garden I waited outside and reception for 30min plus my children went to bed hungry this is fraud and should be stopped, even had another driver ask me for the code claiming he was trying to help but I know if I give the code they claim it’s delivered when it’s not very dodgy operators in Paris, customer service non existent claims it’s been escalated but refused to refund saying it’s been left in a front garden somewhere when this hotel is on the main road no gardens and I didn’t order a garden food I ordered my children who deliveroo made wait up to starve just pathetic. Unscrupulous and unbelievable wish I hadn’t bothered 😕 way more harm than good can come from ordering, now I see the reviews either way try me my bank will return my money and I will continue to leave bad reviews daily because no you don’t steal ppls money starve thier kids waste thier time refuse to refund when you delivered nothing 0000000 if I could give - stars my daughter has survived stage 4 brain cancer at 6 this was supposed to be a enjoyable trip to Disney got here a day earlier and this is the nonsense we’ve had to deal with attempting to get food instead your just left out of pocket and hungry

Sick people and no resolution was given just lies after lie wasting your time further till 1am on the chat trying to get my money back they refused. Serious fraud investigation is needed targeting tourists and hoping you won’t fight for your money back that’s how they make profits clearly because providing a reasonable service is clearly not thier thing look at alll these reviews I wish I had seen prior

Beware

Beware ordering from deliveroo in France, I have been scammed the driver arrived insisting that another rider had part of the order, they never turned up and deliveroo insisted that it had been delivered and the live chat provided no help or refund and cut me off as soon as they had "responded" to my complaints.

Very Bad experience.

Very Bad experience.
Pizzas not delivered. Driver pretends he waited for us in front of our house for 10 minutes (bizarrly without ringing at the intercom which is very clearly visible, which driver would do that??) and finally left the pizzas in our front garden. Obviously we checked and no pizzas anywhere.
Deliveroo refused to give a refund, pretending that the driver tried to call us and took a picture of the pizzas in our front garden. Easy to take a picture than take the pizzas with you...When we ask why the driver didn't ring, no response...

Stay aways from this service!!

The driver did not deliver our food as other companies do. We found it next to dustbin outside our hotel. No phone call, no notification to reception, nothing. I guess you have to stand and look for them outside to increase the chances, but this it not for me. Serious quality issues and probably just a speculative company.

Wish I had read the reviews before…

Wish I had read the reviews before placing an order. It seems it is the company's common practice to not deliver the orders and claim that the client was not reachable by the driver. I provided proof that they did not call, the restaurant had no idea about my order, and that the order was not sent back to the restaurant either. Also the place I was staying was a hotel with the entire ground floor made of glass. No delivery driver came to the hotel according to the reception desk either. On the other hand a different delivery company had no problem delivering food to our room directly without any contact.

Terrible service total scam

Terrible service. Delivery never arrived. We waited outside and tracked the delivery and it never even came down our street. Deliverer marked it as complete and the company would not refund us for our missing order. Don't use this service, it's a total scam.

REPORT THIS COMPANY!!! SCAM!!!
We ordered food to a restaurant and it took several delays. The rider went to our house, asked for the code, THEN said the store was closed and there was NO food!!! Customer service is NOT helpful and gave us DIFFERENT response. By call = they said that they cannot refund us because we gave the code to the delivery rider. By email = they claim that the rider waited for us but we did not meet with him. SCAMMERS AND LIARS!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

If I could give no stars then I would

If I could give no stars then I would. Ordered pizza from Dominos Nice Est and it never arrived. Deliveroo have taken the restaurants’s lies i.e. we provided the wrong number and address and won’t refund. We spoke to Dominos twice on the evening of delivery to confirm the address of the hotel and they even admitted their mistake and offered to refund. Avoid Dominos Nice Est and Deliveroo France at all costs. Thieves and terrible customer service.

You wait and get nothing back

Wait around for half an hour to see my delivery was delivered….. where is it? Oh à phone call? It’s Deliveroo… Problem with the delivery guy, so we will redo your order, and guess what you don’t have to pay for delivery… it’ll take an hour. I’m sorry? But I signed up for Deliveroo plus so I don’t pay for delivery and now my dinner will take an hour and a half to be delivered? Offering something to compensate? No? Well I’m never using this service again.

Escape Deliveroo

Escape Deliveroo, they are thieves, Uber Eats is much better!!!! Order arrived in a pitiful state with ice-cold fries... but these thieves don't want to hear anything, even though it's their driver's fault!

Awful interaction

Awful interaction, I ordered food and it didn't arrive, despite me waiting in the cold. I rang the driver and told him where I was standing, he still didn't turn up.
I emailed them and they took the driver's version of events and said they were charging me for no food and a bad experience!
I had a screenshot of the call I made, so I sent that and threatened them with a charge back or small claims, so I'll see what they come back with.
Horrific service and condescending manner to explain to me their driver couldn't wait for me, when I was waiting for them outside a big hotel, at the entrance!!
