Pure scam! Scam us for 60£! Not Recommend at all!!

Not Recommend at all!!! We order food to the hotel, as i see on the map that courier is approaching my location (hotel) I go outside to meet him. My phone was on silent, he rings me once and left straight away! But I was in front of the hotel, he didn't come to the door of the hotel and didn't try to left my order on reception. Well, he wasn't interested to leave my order at all because I already paid for that! BUT THE MOST INTERESTING THING IS THAT MY FRIEND AFTER THAT MADE ANOTHER ORDER AND WAS THE SAME SITUATION. TWO TIMES 30£ GONE (TOTAL 60£). I called customer support they didn't speak English, and they really don't care about that situation. So guys, if you are hungry, don't relay on Deliveroo in Nice, France. Bad idea.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I get missing item in two orders and when i contact them by email and chat the only answer is : "we are sorry... but we can not do anything" stay away, your money is not safe! Also you can not rate the restaurant or the delivery. They are worried about transparency.

Customer Service Failure

Quality of food is dependent on the restaurant from which orders are made. Customer service of Deliveroo per se is in dire need of improvement. After over 3 months and 32 emails of toing and froing with their customer service, their office has still failed to refund months of improperly charged "Deliveroo Plus" subscription. On each instance, a customer service representative will say that the charges have been reversed, and yet each 27th of the month, like clockwork, I get charged 10.99EUR. It's been 4 months already and a "Senior Customer Care" representative is telling me the same thing and the issue has not yet been resolved.

You guys continuously fail to deliver…

You guys continuously fail to deliver your burgers on time, if not at all. Honestly, Uber is much better and I highly suggest everyone to just let this delivery service get canceled and move on to something better. Like Uber. All I have to say is deliver the food on time for once. This isn’t the first time it’s happened. I’m tired of it. Will be ordering from Uber from now on. I’ve never heard anyone have this problem before ordering from there.

I DID NOT GET THE ORDER FOR WHICH I HAVE PAID!

The driver just sent me a message, so I went down to pick up the PAID order, but he was not there. he left without any calls. After that I called the infoline and told them the situation. She claimed again and again that the drive called me 2x times but HE DID NOT! So I asked if they can come back and will wait an other hour. The result? I DID NOT GET THE ORDER FOR WHICH I HAVE PAID!

Terrible customer experience

Terrible customer experience ! Don't ever try this company.
They don't ever try to reach you , even if they're suppose to stand in front of your door with your delivery. They "wait" and after a while they can keep your delivery and you don't get your money back !!!!
It's just creazy that this way of doing can exit !
NEVER EVER AGAIN ! I've delete my account on their webpage...

Terrible!

No way to complain about poor delivery service on the app or to get in touch with customer service. Delivery person was super unpolite, i wonder what you can actually do to improve the service if there is nowhere to log complaints linked to an order

WORST SERVICE

WORST SERVICE! I ordered and waited for almost 1 hour for my food. After contacting them (via live chat) for several times asking them to cancel my order and reimburse me, one of their employees left the chat in the middle of the conversation without finding me a solution and the other one kept me waiting for 5-10 minutes to answer me that he cannot cancel it anymore because the driver was already on his way towards me.
I refused the order as the driver told me i will be reimbursed if i refuse it. And here I am with food that I paid for and never had!

Last night in Nice...

On our last night in Nice we decided to have a quiet night in so that we could pack without rushing. Unfortunately we decided to order with Deliveroo. Being an ex Deliveroo rider in the UK, I found the delivery charge to be on the rather expensive side €4.99, but we paid for our dinner and awaited. Everything seemed to be going well, the rider was quite friendly and wished us Bon appetite. Having arrived back in our apartment, we discovered that one of the burgers was missing (luckily mine, not the mrs). The app only offered us an instant refund of the burger, which I accepted, expecting to be able to get the missing item delivered at no cost. I contacted Deliveroo through live chat, who were no help at all, saying that there was nothing they could do. I remember riding up the hills of Sheffield to deliver 2 bottles of water that the restaurant had forgotten to pack so I knew that this could definitely be done. I then decided I would call the restaurant, who were happy to re send the missing item, but needed a Deliveroo rider to be assigned for pick up by Deliveroo. Fine. I called Deliveroo and they said that I should order the item again and the get compensated(?) for the delivery fee. We expected that this would be more account credit which we could not use and thus ordered something cheap from another place. In the end we ended up spending over €30 for a burger and a low effort fajita. Absolutely shocking service and will definitely not be using again.

Always late

These guys are always late. It does not matter how far in advance you schedule, they will still make sure they are late. ALL of the last 5 orders have been late. If you want the food to be delivered reliably and on time I would never recommend them, but if you don't mind them being late every time by at least 30 minutes and your food being consistently cold, then go ahead. Had a prime subscription, and after a month I realised what an utter waste of money it was for such service.

The food came cold and they forgot the…

The food came cold and they forgot the drink which I reported after the delivery (no refund). It was my first and last order with them.
On the positive side, their time estimation is quite accurate.

Edit: they reimbursed the drink after they saw this review.

I don't get it

I don't get it, 90% of the time the orders get messed up. I usually order from subway and either the sandwich itself gets messed up or I am missing crisps or another dessert, outright stealing.
