Delivered damaged & items not as described.

DPD driver dropped the pizza oven and we didn’t notice it until after the 48 hours had passed as the box wasn’t damaged. Which begs the question whether it was damaged by DPD of delivita. We then couldn’t raise it as an issue because they cover themselves for damage under the warranty.
The paintwork is patchy on the outside, the glue has started to break down inbetween the outer shell & the all weather cover isn’t waterproof. And despite someone getting back to me very quickly to reassure me when I questioned the integrity of the pizza oven due to the damage, we have felt rather disappointed overall with our experience.
It’s a great pizza oven and we have enjoyed using it so far but a little disappointed with some of the quality of the items. Hense my 3 star review.
Other people may not have the same experience and it seems we may have just been unlucky. But we just feel like they washed their hands of it once it had been delivered and that to me isn’t what customer service is all about.

Ordered one of Delivita's oven tables…

Ordered one of Delivita's oven tables from Nisbets which turned out to be faulty. Nisbets were useless in trying to fix the situation, but Rachel from Delivita was an absolute star in getting it sorted out.

lacking in customer service

I ordered some dough balls but somehow their website picked up my old postcode on the delivery address. The rest of the address was correct, just the incorrect postcode.
The delivery was due for 1pm on a Friday. The delivery driver kept sending texts saying he was running late. I waited in my house all afternoon and nothing arrived. I checked with the delivery company and the status of the delivery was “refused”.
I attempted to contact the delivery company and Delivita several times. On Monday Delivita finally replied and told me that the delivery driver had attempted to deliver the parcel to the “postcode “ which was standard procedure. I told them that made no sense as the address clearly didn’t match the postcode. Why didn’t the delivery driver contact me when delivery was refused the same way he’d been contacting me to advise he was delayed several times.
Ultimately Delivita were not interested, said the goods were perishable so had been disposed of and offered no refund or discount off next order or any gesture of goodwill. I just have to suck it up and take the £30 loss.! Nice attitude guys!
