Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Don't deliver on time, automated responses. They delete comments on Instagram when people call out their shady ways. Looks like a cool shop but I'm not yet convinced this isn't a scam.

Disappointed

I understand that christmas is a very busy time for all retailers but Delli have clearly struggled. They put out a big advertising campaign so I'm not sure what they expected but it's clear they've not been able to manage the footfall. I ordered a variety of goods on the 12th of December noting their delivery timescales said 2-5days. The prder email said id be sent a dpd tracking email soon. After 5 days I emailed to get an update and was told my order had already been delivered and gave me a 20% code off my next order. As it had not been delivered I emailed again. Still with no dpd update I'm assuming it hadn't been sent yet. The customer service was friendly enough but not entirely helpful. My order was delivered yesterday, 10 days after I ordered and on the same day was told id be refunded money for missing items. We have our family Christmas today and I wanted to buy something unique for someone...and now I have nothing to give them. I'm really disappointed and sad that I will have to go to a standard supermarket and buy something very unexciting for this person as I don't have time to go anywhere else. The 20% codes are pointless if i never shop here again. I hope they've learnt from this Christmas period. It's a great idea, but if things dont improve but I won't be shopping there again.

Cool site, poor service

They’ve got some great stuff on the site and it’s all from legit businesses. Bit gutted at how poorly organised they are - feels like success took them by surprise which says a lot. They’ve had a shocker this Christmas as you can see by the reviews. I ordered a selection of stuff including a bottle of non-alcoholic wine for Christmas Day and it was missing. The largest item I’d ordered, like how do you just miss a bottle of wine, take the money and not communicate it not being in the box?! And the customer service is so slow and automated so I’m not holding my breath for a response, they don’t even reply to poor reviews on here so not sure they massively care. Shame really, cool concept.

Slow delivery and poor customer service

Order took over a week to arrive and, without any warning, is missing two items with a hand written note and a sad face on the receipt inside the box. Had I known it was out of stock (after I'd already paid for it!!!) I would have looked elsewhere. It's now too late for Xmas presents.

No communication. No transparency. No accountability.

I placed an order on December 13th for christmas gifts. However, here we are on December 20th, and my items still haven’t been dispatched. There seems to be a lack of transparency regarding order processing times. I haven’t received any communication about potential delays, which has made it difficult to decide whether to look for alternatives elsewhere, though realistically, it’s now probably too late so I have to hope that my order will turn up. I also noticed that as recently as December 19th, the website was still advertising delivery in time for Christmas, whilst my order is stuck at the warehouse.
It’s disheartening to see that many others are experiencing similar issues but instead of addressing these concerns their Instagram comments have been turned off. This lack of accountability and communication is very off putting.

I won’t be shopping here in future unfortunately.

Exceptionally poor service

Exceptionally poor service. Placed an order on the 14th and not yet dispatched despite a promise of 3-5 day delivery, no response to my emails, no updates, and many other people apparently in the same position judging from reviews here and Instagram comments. Family will likely be going without gifts for the holidays despite having placed the order in plenty of time for a UK supplier. Shockingly bad.

Fast delivery amazing food

Ordered bagels olive oil and hot honey (bit of a risk for me😅). Couldn’t be happier all arrived safely beautifully packed and speedy. Best bagels I’ve had in a while. My Italian friend ordered honest toil olive as she was so impressed and hot honey is my new love ❤️

Love this place

Disappointed

Love this site, just such a shame the customer service is rubbish.
I ordered a week ago and my order still shows as unfulfilled on their site. I contacted their customer service as there is no transparency on their site regarding delays. After a couple of automated responses (that gets your hopes up that you’ve received a response) I finally got a textbook response stating my order looks like it’s been delivered. Which is impossible as it’s still unfulfilled!
Unfortunately I wouldn’t trust ordering from here again, especially looking at all their awful reviews!

A Christmas joke.

Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered on the 13th of December, money out of my account. No confirmation email- no delivery updates. No communication. No presents for Christmas. Very angry & ridiculous ‘customer service’ that doesn’t exist.

Great looking marketing but hideous customer service. Avoid!!

Getting an automated response every time is exhausting.

The rage I am feeling at your company is hard to express.
I shopped in time. I stayed home for my parcel. And the incompetence of dpd has been compounded by your lack of customer services.
I ordered 6th December have now been told nothing until 6th January. Great that you have popped off for your Christmas break but the rest of us are trying to prepare!!

This is not customer services.

Customer Service so poor it's non existent!!

Ordered 12/12/24. No items dispatched.
My first email querying when goods will be sent was met with a boilerplate holding email. Followed 24 hours later by another saying nothing would be dispatched until after 6/1/25. However the order is a Christmas present so 6th Jan is unacceptable.
The original indication of delivery was 2-5 days. Had I known what would transpire I simply would not have ordered!

A standard delaying tactic by many unscrupulous businesses, while trying to convey an air of respectability.

Since then all further emails cancelling order & requesting a refund have been ignored.

No telephone number given for contact, just a black hole of unanswered communication requests.

I have been here several times before, with businesses that have been rapidly going out of business, so the indicators are not good!

It seems that there is little option other than to pursue a refund via my Credit Card issuer.

Nothing but a disgrace & a shambles. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!

No Communication or Updates

Got a response eventually and was refunded 50% of the cost of the order which was very good.

Confusion was due to wording on an automated email that was sent out. Still not 100% sure that I would order again; it seemed overly longwinded and they just don't seem set up to deal with the volume they get at the moment.

Hope things improve as the products are great and their response to issue eventually was very good.

Ordered 5 days ago, no communication, no updates to the order status - still on 'Preparing Shipment' 5 days later.

Have emailed for an update as I need it delivered before Xmas, nothing back except an automated response that states if you haven't received your parcel by 16th December it'll be 6th January before it ships.

Would not have ordered if I had been told that when ordering. Consequently have tried to cancel the order and still not heard anything back.
