Delux Deco, you nailed it!

It was lovely to deal with Delux Deco. They have a wide range of top-end sofas. I am pleased with my sofa as it is the most compact corner sofa I’ve seen yet very comfortable and fits for my household easily. Fitted perfectly as expected in my living room space. The support team was very friendly. Delivery was within the given time frame and the courier (2-man team) was very professional. I will definitely be a returning customer for my next order. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience purchasing…

I had an amazing experience purchasing my sofa from Deluxedeco! They scheduled a video call and understood our requirement. The salesperson showed us all the variants in detail and from every angel possible. It was a better experience compared to in-store shopping.
Also the delivery was on time as promised! The after sale service provided was amazing!! They solved our concerns almost immediately!
Highly recommended seller 😊

Absolutely the worst company at 59 years old I ever had the displeasure to deal with.

Absolutely the worst company, we have ever had the misfortune to try and deal with. Ordered 3 sofa totalling more than £6500. After placing the order in January 2022, Due to numerous delays, there end but maybe not entirely of their making, we eventually took delivery in August. From the off the delivery guys were apologetic, showing us all manner of faults and took pics to cover themselves. Contacted Delux deco of Windsor, and trying to be reasonable, we said that we would accept repairs to 2 sofas but the third one was beyond repair. They were basically, no help whatsoever. They said they would instruct an (laughable home ser**) independent engineer to do an inspection and repairs. Engineer attended, completely wrote off the 3rd sofa and carried out repairs to the other 2. His report, which he said he would also send to us, condemned the 3rd sofa, and additional works was needed to the other 2.
A week later, after numerous emails and photos to back up our claim, Colin from Delux deco informed us the engineer, reported a completely different version to what he told us. He went on to inform us that Delux Deco policy meant, armed with the very dubious report, we must get the sofas repaired.
We maintained the report must be a farce, ( it would be 10 weeks before ever seeing it) and pleaded with them to do the honourable thing and at least replace the 3rd one, even though we were deeply unhappy with them all, this was when they just totally ignored emails for weeks on end.
The long and short of it is that Barclaycard got involved, Delux Deco, still refused a replacement/refund, Overruling Uk consumer laws, Barclays and are Feelings, they Stated that, still they would have to be repaired! Barclays paid for an independent report. The company used, has done work for the tv prog RIP OFF BRITAIN. A true professional gentleman who has been in the industry for over 30 years attended and hold numerous qualifications and honours after serving a 10 year apprenticeship and then working with some of the top names in the industry.
His report states that the all 3 sofas are of a very poor quality, of the better of the 2 sofas, the ones we were going to accept repairs on, he stated that they were of such poor quality that he would have given them 6/12 months usage before the Velvet material would perish, due to the poor quality materials/build quality. He found 10 faults on those 2. The third one he described as one of the worst sofas he has ever come across. He would have refused to even allow it into his home. This one he found 24 faults with. The faults were derived of manufacturing and transport based issues. Delux Deco's customer service is atrocious, They try to force poor quality goods and defected goods onto you and hide behind a company well known for providing poor and in factual inspection reports and repairs.
After waiting 8 months for delivery and worse still, having to store these complete waste of space, sofas in our home, but still being unable to use them, for over 4 months whilst trying to get this sorted out is an insult!
To this day Delux Deco of Windsor, have refused Barclaycards attempts to get the monies back.
However, I must say Barclaycard, have been superb throughout, their customer service, second to none, and they, after receiving the real Independant report have reimbursed us at their cost.
All in all, a very stressful and unpleasant experience.

Thanks for your review however we do not accept your version of events and especially your comments regarding extreme inferior quality. This is simply untrue.
You visited our store viewing in person 2 of the 3 sofas you purchased. You decided at the time to order them in a custom configuration and finish which was bespoke and made to order.
Upon receiving the goods you immediately wanted to return them for a refund. After viewing the images from the delivery, we could see this was mainly velvet marking through the delivery process. Deep pile velvet has a high tuft with the potential for pressure markets, even despite excellent packaging. This sometimes occurs sometimes does not. Unfortunately, this happened on this occasion potentially because we had to hold back goods as you wanted to consolidate your order.
We use Linea Pelle and Novatex Italian velvet well regarded as the best quality there is, Martindale rub test 50,000+. The pressure marks completely come out with heat treatment. After 20 years in the business we know this to be fact. You refused to accept that at all resisting any remedy from the beginning. Only after many discussions would you even allow a technician in your house.
When we received the report from the technician, this indicated that the velvet marking was through transit damage and that this would all be remediable. We use as most of the major furniture chains in the UK do, the largest and most respected furniture repairs company, Homeserve furniture repairs. There is now way the goods left a factory with pressure markings, categorically.
Instead of allowing us to affect a remedy you refused instead preferring to do a card charge back.
Under UK consumer law the consumer must allow the retailer the chance to remedy the faults when the goods are custom made. It is unreasonable for you to simply reject our solution out of hand. This is why your charge back attempt failed.
The credit card companies made that decision based on UK law and our terms & conditions. It is not our decision.
Your claims of poor quality are complete fabrication and we very much doubt the validity of your own report. This of course has helped you gain the advantage with your own credit card company which of course has been very generous.
You your-self viewed 2 of the sofas in person, the so called better of the 2 according to your claims. The 3rd was hand made in Italy by second generation artisanal furniture manufacturer. The products are excellent build and quality so this is absolute fabrication or bias. The products are on show in our showroom and customers can decide for themselves. We have been selling these for many years with thousands of happy & repeat customers.
This could have all been avoided if you would have allowed us the chance to remedy the problems and then deal with the outcome. Unfortunately, you were not willing to be reasonable whatsoever.

You have to keep the packaging!

We have to keep all the boxes for the sofa in the event of a return. We ordered a large Munich sofa so now our garage is stuffed full of huge cardboard boxes. I can't imagine how others do it if they don't have a garage. I wish we knew this when we ordered, or we would have probably reconsidered.

Dear Reviewer, many thanks for your review. With regards the packaging it is a requirement by law that customers can return goods bought at distance. This is turn requires original packaging or similar. Therefore, we must leave the packaging. If we took the packaging and you did want to return the goods within your 14 day period then we would then be at fault as this prevents you from exercising your rights. This is the same as with any goods and this is for protection of your consumers rights.

When looking at the chairs I received…

When looking at the chairs I received prompt advise and answers to all my questions from Ran. Now having recently received my chair, I am very happy with it. It has completely lived up to my expectations and is really wonderful to sit in and relax whether reading, listening to music, playing a game console or watching a movie on the cinema system.

Avoid totally Unreliable Overpriced Poor Quality

Review Approved via Trustpilot. READ OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS.I would avoid this company. They are refusing to deliver our goods until we pay the final 50% Their customer service is very poor and they do not understand the sale of goods act or basic requirements.My advice AVOID there are better alternatives. Wish we had read the other negative feedback as would not have gone near them. Update, PLEASE READ OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND AVOID, THIS COMPANY. IT IS SHOCKING TO DEAL WITH. THEY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. ADDITIONALLY OUR CHAIR HAS BEEN DELIVERED AND THE QUALITY IS VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR SUCH AN OVERPRICED ITEM .

This was also given in the sales pack and terms & conditions given to you once you made the deposit. Perfect sofa and excellent service

not only the best value cinema chairs but the best quality

I just wanted to let you know we have had our cinema chairs almost two years now and we are extremely happy. We use the cinema on a very regular basis and the chairs have faired extremely well, we have also had a glass of milk spilt on one which cleaned up without a problem. They are without doubt not only the best value cinema chairs but the best quality, the comfort and durability is fantastic. I would highly recommend the chairs and your company to anyone wanting luxury cinema chairs

Great service. Great product.

Really pleased with the Camargue sofa I received. A friend has one and recommended I call Colin. Exceptionally helpful from the beginning, including virtual tours to show different options. Never tired of my dithering. Everything from ease of payment to status updates were effortless. Delivery guys were gents. End product is exceptional. Couldn’t be more pleased. Very comfortable. Fabric looks durable, but has a silky feel. Color is awesome. Highly recommended.

I live in the Channel Islands (Jersey)

I live in the Channel Islands (Jersey). After renovating my home I wanted a stand out sofa, however living on a small island is often difficult with choice. So I found Delux Deco via a Google search, I contacted them and they were so helpful! I had seen an amazing velvet green modular sofa on their site, they helped with a sample, and even sorted out my shipping for me to Jersey. They have been absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend using them. Everyone that nips is loves our sofa! So glad I contacted the them.

We bought a Corner Unit

We bought a Corner Unit, delivered in March 2022, Paid for 2 seats to be Recliners.After only 2 Weeks(!) of sitting comfortably, one of the Motors on the recliner packed up. It is now the end of June 2022 and we cannot get any help from DeluxDeco, after many phone calls (polite), and carefully worded emails they still can’t come to fix it. We waited 3 months for a visit from their Insurance who just wrote a report and now nearly 4 months on still only have one working recliner and I am So Disappointed, I would expect much better service from DeluxDeco, they could have helped and fixed it, but couldn’t be bothered. Just to mention - I have never left a bad review on anything else in my life, I don’t really think its professional, but I feel i have been left with no option. For £4,500 for a sofa it should not break after 2 Weeks. If DeluxeDeco contact speedily fix it now, I can take this review down.

We are sorry that you are frustrated by the length of time it is taking to replace the motor in your sofa however the Motion Italia Motors are made in China and must be shipped. They cannot be couriered due to regulations. This also must be shipped (on a ship) on our next shipment from that supplier, so sadly it does take quite some time.
Our Apologies.
We realise this is not the best situation, but we have no choice as It is simply impossible to remedy your sofa without the correct part. We must get this from the Manufacturer at source.
It is highly unusual having to replace motors and we rarely stock these as we do not generally have the need to do so.
I would assure you that if there were any way to get this done faster, we would definitely act to do so as this is our responsibility as the supplier of your goods.
We therefore feel it is unwarranted having a one star review.

Amazing camargue corner sofa!

I purchased a camargue sofa last year and I was amazed with the quality of the product. It was bespoke and it matched all of my requirements. It is very comfortable and easy to clean. I would definitely recommend Delux Deco to everyone! I would like to thank Ranveer for his outstanding service and helping to assist me with this luxury sofa. My whole family and I love it.
