I cannot recommend Derbyshire Elite Car Sales highly enough.
We bought a Fiat 500X from them, and unfortunately within a few days the air conditioning developed a fault. As soon as we contacted them, Mark was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Although we live in Newark, around 39 miles away and over an hour from the dealership, Mark personally arranged for the car to be collected from our home, taken back to Derby for repair and then delivered back to us once all the work had been completed. We didn't have to worry about a thing.
There was no quibbling or trying to avoid responsibility. They simply got on with putting the car right. In total they carried out over £1,100 worth of repairs at their own expense, including replacing the air conditioning condenser and pipe, fitting new front brake discs and pads, replacing both track rod ends, carrying out a wheel alignment and regassing the air conditioning.
Buying a used car can sometimes come with unexpected issues, but what really matters is how a dealer responds when something does go wrong. Derbyshire Elite Car Sales exceeded all our expectations. Mark was friendly, professional, honest and true to his word throughout. His communication was excellent, and he kept us updated every step of the way.
It would have been easy for them to make things difficult, especially given the distance, but instead they went above and beyond to provide first-class customer service. It's rare to find a dealer that stands behind the cars they sell in the way Derbyshire Elite Car Sales does.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another car from them in the future and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy dealer with outstanding after-sales service.
Thank you again to Mark and everyone at Derbyshire Elite Car Sales.

We are currently going through the same issues with this company. Very untrustworthy and lied to the finance company. My niece purchased a BMW 1 series from this garage, within the first week the EML light came on and she was advised by a lady that she needed to ring the warranty company who advised that they don’t carry out diagnostic checks. When I spoke to Mark he advised he wasn’t aware this had happened but his colleague followed the correct process as my niece was from out of town. A few weeks later the vehicle broke down and was recovered by the AA and taken to a garage. Although this next part isn’t Marks fault it cost my niece over £900 to repair the BMW at which point she was told I have only repaired the fault it came in with and not the other faults. I contacted Mark who seemed genuinely interested in helping. He advised he wanted us to contact his garage which we did and they advised they couldn’t fit us in for about 4 weeks. I called mark back and we had this conversation and we explained my niece needed the car for work and unless he could supply a courtesy vehicle he needed to sort it sooner. We agreed over the phone as we were out of town, we could take it to a garage nearer to us who could get us in sooner. We did this and the diagnostic showed 14 engine faults. The garage advised us it needed to go to main dealer. We spoke to mark who at that point made it clear it wasn’t going to main dealer (I assume costs) and that it needed to go to his mates garage. There is now a complaint in with the finance company and it appears Mark is saying this didn’t happen. Whilst my niece is still without a vehicle that has been a problem since day 1.

These guys were fab, 1st time buying car on finance and these lads were so helpful and professional. Great cars and nice little touch of having a couple of gorgeous dogs to cuddle.
If anyone wants a new car I'll definitely be telling them about these guys. Thank you!!

Upon my arrival, I was met with exceptional customer service. The vehicle was in pristine condition, as previously communicated over the phone. However, there was an issue that arose. Lewis and I mutually agreed on a solution, and he provided professional attention to the problem. I would highly recommend this establishment and would certainly return in the future. The service provided by Lewis and his team was truly exceptional.

Amazing car and customer service. I am so happy with the car I bought here. I would recommend 100%. There was a couple of things not big to replace and he did it straight away nothing was a problem. I will be going here again when I need a new car but this one has been a dream up to now thank you
Excellent company. Efficient and staff go above and beyond to help customers…. Very friendly and genuine would highly recommend.
After 5 weeks of having the car 2018 Nissan Qashqai the clutch burnt out needed a whole new clutch kit then the battery was fried and needed replaced. These issues were unforeseen and the dealership would not of known this would happen. But they took full financial responsibility for the repairs to be done totalling £890 and I’m so so thankful for their caring consideration. They didn’t have to do that but they are truly a trustworthy dealership and so considerate taking responsibility for this situation I couldn’t be more grateful for their help and service.
Called Ryan at Derbyshire elite cars asked him for information on a discovery sport , not only did he give me a comprehensive run down on the car with all the car’s history he also did a full video walk round . This for me was excellent as I was thinking of driving 470 miles from the north of Scotland . The video was excellent quality and gave me confidence to take on the journey. I was not disappointed , the car was exactly as described a very good car and well worth the drive. The guys where very helpful and sorted out all the paperwork tax and temporary insurance . My whole car buying experience with the guys from Derbyshire Elite cars has been excellent the cars back in Scotland and my wife is over the moon with her new car . Family run, honest, no pressure to buy what more could I ask for ? Fuel? Half a tank happy days . One very happy customer.
What a find these guys are/were!
So worth the nearly 4 hour train journey there & the nearly 4 hour drive home. If what you're after (aren't we all) is honesty, integrity, quality & friendly, no pressure sales then honestly look no further. I say that as someone who is not easily convinced particularly as I work in the legal system & see these kinds of situations go very wrong! In these days when customer service is so lacking in so many ways these guys are a breath of fresh air! Just friendly, approachable and decent 👍
I couldn't be happier! After a little minor miscommunication (which I know I played my own part in due to my own anxieties at the process of trying to get the right deal with the right people for the right car & communicating by WhatsApp rather than having a 'proper' conversation 🙄) Ryan, along with Mark, really made the effort to reassure me & answer my questions.
I am just so chuffed with not only the car (immaculate, drives like a dream & with brilliantly perfected alloys repaired in house to brand new condition - massive tick!) but the brilliant service I received.
Also a great free nationwide 3 month warranty but also the option to, very reasonably, upgrade to Gold with the added bonus of free AA cover which was a lovely surprise! I chose the year but the optional 3 months & 6 months gold were great options too! Absolutely no pressure to buy the upgrade but the fact that essentially they have oversight of the warranty was a huge bonus for me!
There are no guarantees with any car you buy, but I really do feel like these guys would absolutely do their best in the event of anything (within reason obvs) going wrong.
Keep up the good work, the market is full of sharks & I just thank goodness I found you!
Shocking you deleted my first review can't handle the truth that you are selling dodgy cars or trying to restore your reputation. My sister in law has had nothing but problems since she had bought the car.
Having seen the car you had sold to my sister in law, no power was shuddering at idle within a week of getting the car numerous faults were brought up on a diagnostic machine including glow plugs, swirl flaps, body control fault and Intermittent fault with the accelerator, even had a leaking shock absorber, you weren't interested it was apparently a warranty company problem in your eyes when it was in fact your fault for letting a car out your forecourt with all of those faults (long as you make money you clearly don't care you should be selling cars with zero faults and accepting your at fault when you sell them with said faults maybe you won't get negative reviews. She has only had the car since February and has hardly done any miles in it To find she needs to replace 2 springs and as they have snapped. There is also a back log on glow plugs so that issue can't be fixed till August/September time which was a fault from the start when you sold her the car. The only thing that was fixed under warranty was the manifold. How can you call that car fit for purpose and the fact she has 5 kids and the car isnt safe for them. The car was underpowered heavily when she got the car which you would've known as there was over 300 miles on the car from when it was advertised to when it was picked up, keep getting the review deleted and I'll keep posting it back up as its a real and legit review. WATCH OUT FOLKS THEY SELL CARS WITH LOADS OF PROBLEMS AND THEN THEY FOB YOU OFF TO A WARRANTY COMPANY FOR FAULT THEY ARE LIABLE FOR.
I am going to break it down from scratch since you keep saying information is incorrect.....
I bought a bmw 2 series m sport from this garage 18th February this year, In the actual forecourt I stalled the car numerous times as it was heavily underpowered, didn't think too much of it at the time was just too excited and over looked the lack of power. Within a week the car was rough idling to the point the car was rocking still I over looked it. Then I had my children in the car and it couldn't get up a hill in 2nd gear... keeping in mind this is an m sport it should be able to pull up a hill so I took the car to a local garage who run a machine through the car and several fault codes came up, swirl flaps faults, glow plug faults etc the garage said the codes that have come up suggest the car is dead? So I called derbyshire elite cars start of April they didnt want to know passed me onto their warranty company who then said these faults weren't covered by the warranty FACTS!! So I contacted the finance company unhappy paying top buck for a dodgy car and no one was willing to help! The finance company advised me to take the car to a reputable garage and get a full diagnostic report sent to them. I tried several garages who refused to get involved. Bmw was the only option as they took the car in no questions asked. I let the warranty company know and all of a sudden they can fix the car advised me rudely to remove my car from bmw and take it to an independent garage as they werent willing to pay for genuine bmw parts!! Bmw quoted 1500 including the diagnostic for the car which was reasonable id have paid it out my own pocket but it was not my responsibility. I refused to remove my car from bmw as I had got it transported there out of my own pocket. They then took it upon themselves to remove my car without my consent, a week later the independent garage they took it too didnt even know the car was there it had been parked on the main road with the keys handed into a neighbouring unit. Ridiculous! the independent garage charged 1358 for said repairs which wasn't any cheaper if anything just an inconvenience to myself. I tried to get a courtesy car after being told by citizens advice I should have one with the inconvenience caused the warranty company told me I am not getting a car as they've paid double what they were allowing to fix the said faults. Like it's my fault you sold me a dodgy car? Anyhow The car was ready to collect Tuesday 17th June exactly 3 weeks since it had been taking to bmw? I collected my car to find the glow plug relay is backlogged and they can't get the parts until Aug so it cant be fully fixed, the issue is not sorted, upon collecting the car didnt even get 2 miles down the road and there was a huge bang the front passenger spring had snapped. The garage who repaired the car came along to help. He didn't want the hassle with this warranty company it was clear so called the aa instead who took the car to another garage. Well last night 18th June exactly 4mnths since I bought this car I finally got it back with 2 new front springs. The back tyre was flat today so took it to another garage and surprise surprise that spring is also snapped.... i have all the proof here. Which is going to the ombudsman. I have young children travelling in this car but clearly you dont car with the way I have been treated, no compensation, no courtesy car, no apology. Nothing seems the negative reviews matter more but they wouldn't have got this negative review had there been a little more compassion shown!! To say that my review are incorrect is not the truth and you know it. I also have the proof in black and white and pictures and all the receipts. I will be rejecting this car as its been nothing but hassle from the word go. shame on you!
Excellent service and coffee , thanks guys for a pleasant experience, will be in the future

Brilliant experience with Elite Cars, mark was great help from the start, not pushy at all, gave us plenty of time to look around the car but was on hand if needed. Mark made the sale simple and stress free. Had a couple of teething problems with the car and again mark couldn’t have been more helpful!
Would deffo recommend!
Thanks a lot again 😊

I purchased a car in August and everything was fine initially. Within a month of purchasing I noticed a warning light. When I contacted Derbyshire elite cars they advised me to visit their approved garages,I called them and they advised they were unable to do a diagnostics for a several weeks.
I mentioned this to Derbyshire Elite cars who asked to me visit another garage, I tried calling but could never get an answer and they were closed on weekends so was never able to get in.
Eventually I got a diagnostics done and passed this information onto Derbyshire elite cars. They booked the car in and replaced the ad blue. I mentioned that the diagnostics was showing more than just ad blue but my concerns were dismissed.
The car was still showing a warning light so I took the car back to the garage who after two days advised that the car needed remedial work totalling over £1400.
When I mentioned this to Derbyshire elite cars I was told this was my fault even though in an email from Mark I was told that the AD blue was that low that I would not have been able to replace. However they are refusing to cover the costs and take any responsibility even though I have had the car just over 3 months and the problems started almost instantly.
Buying from a dealer I would expect the car to have had checks on the vehicle.
Thanks for your response however it is not the truth and you know it. The AD blue was low only a few weeks purchasing the car. As a dealer I’d expect the car to be fully checked which it wasn’t.
Even when I voiced my concerns you dismissed them.
Your response is untrue I have been in constant finance with you with regards the problems I have been having. Yet you never offered any help. When I got a full diagnostics done you then booked me in but ignored all the warnings I had reported and dismissed my concerns that the car was not right.
I’d have hope to have resolved this amicably but I’m now seeking legal advice to get this matter resolved as you have shown no inclination to resolve this amicably.

Had been looking at cars for a while but nothing came up local. Went for a few test drives at other car sales but there was always something not quite right. We found what looked like the perfect car on the internet and was shocked to see it was more than local. Called, made an appointment to view and test drive and drove home in it later that day. Fabulous service, very honest and not pushy sales man but then the fab car sold it self. We will definately be back.

Bought a Vauxhall Astra 2018 model from Mark today . Absolutely brilliant service from the moment we arrived . The keys to the car were given to us and left to look around on our own with no pressure. After taking for a test drive we went ahead with the paperwork that was done with such ease and no problem at all . We would highly recommend using this dealer Mark was exceptional. Thanks for a great experience in purchasing our son’s new car.
