I have never, ever given a one-star review for any company...but I have for this one!

I made an order on-line but their payment system crashed as I tried to pay. I was unsure of whether the payment had gone through as it said 'pending' in my account with them.

I asked them to clarify the situation. Payment hadn't gone through so they sent me a simple payment order by email to finish the transaction, which worked.

They then sent the goods to my default billing address and not my default delivery address.

When I tried to point this out I was 1. told I must have changed the addresses after I order (wrong) and 2. there's nothing they can do about it 'the addresses must have got mixed up'.

I do not go to my billing address very often. It is 100s of miles away. I cannot get to my goods and there is no one there to sign for them or send them to me. What am I supposed to do?

Unfortunately, this company don't care that I have spent money with them and won't receive the goods before Christmas, when I return home (if indeed the postman can possible get it into my letter box!).

It is their mistake and they will not in any way entertain the possibility of offering me some sort of customer service - perhaps they could have sent a new order to the correct address and I could have arranged to send back the order they sent to the wrong address?

I will not use this company again. I am will use another who don't get 'addresses mixed up on their system'!

Reply to Descaler: You keep telling me I gave you my billing address as my delivery address - I have sent you a screenshot of my account that shows they are two different addresses! This is not customer service - this is unbelievably inefficient and extremely unhelpful.

Edgy marketing

I have twice been on this site to by descaler for my Saeco coffee machine. Philips sells a branded descaler through the site. Each time I select this brand I have been encouraged to consider a "cheaper" option which is seemingly less than half the price. However, the cheaper product has half the volume of the Saeco. Assuming they are similar strength the cheaper product is not really much cheaper as you need twice as many bottles per descale.

That said the ordering is easy and delivery efficient. So I am not unhappy but bemused.

Thanks for your review! The cheaper option is really cheaper as it's twice as concentrated as the branded option. There for you need only 100ml for a full descaling cycle.

Excellent service

I would reccomend this company to everyone first time i used it, super fast delivery excellent customer service. Kept very well informed from the moment i placed the order, will be placing more orders.

Not happy with you taking the money and then failing to deliver when expected.

Sorry but if you say you can deliver on a certain day and then have to email back to say that a common descaler is out of stock.... its not good enough.
