I've purchased two Detomaso watches. They are handsome, distinctive, keep excellent time, etc. The variety of styles and colors is impressive. My only reservation was the metal band on the first watch was difficult to close and was very tight on my wrist. I never could lengthen it a bit altough ir appeared that this should be possible. No instructions for adjustment in the manual. I would give 4.5 stars if possible.

I have purchased 2 watches from them and quality is great, however their customer service is poor.
Having a brain tumour i get anxious and stressed very easily if ignored.

I have tried calling the UK number without succes and sent at least 6 emails.

All i wanted to know is:
I have two of your watches which are both limited editions.

They are :

D10-05-30 gray orange
D02-26-26 silver red

My question is , have these limited editions all sold
And what is the difference between my models and the still available non limited edition watches with same specifications?

Wish I had read some of these reviews before trying to buy a watch from this company. It appears that they are also not going to ship the watch just like several others on here have said. Tried calling, sent emails....no response. I don't know if this company is purposefully fraudulent or just flat out incompetent, either way I have half a mind to file a report with the German authorities...

I ordered one of their watches online and to date never received it. I tried to engage with customer service who said they would prioritise my request. Sadly I’m not sure they understand the concept of priority. Without exception the worst online buying and customer service experience I have ever had. I hope this company will learn to understand that fulfilment of an order and good customer service are essential. I also asked several times for a refund but they ignored that completely. Highly recommend not buying from this company. Stay clear!!

The watch was delivered on time as promised. It was very well presented and working well. i feel confident the watch will be with me for many years.

Absolute shambles of a company. It took a threat of reporting its business to the German fraud squad to finally get my watch.
The watch received is nothing like that advertised

Never ever buy a Detomaso

I bought this watch a few months ago and a few weeks later the glass broke while it wasn’t even on my wrist. After several requests for a repair, I finally was able to send it back in early January. After weeks of waiting and many unanswered emails, I finally received a confirmation this morning that it would be refunded. Ok, all good.

Except, they then emailed me a few hours later stating I had to pay $148 to repair a watch that only cost $200! Unreal.

The worst customer service. A garbage product. If you want an inexpensive watch, buy a Timex

It would appear that I ordered a D10 chrono solar (the green and yellow action man watch) on New Year’s Eve, admittedly after a lot of gin. It arrived this week, four weeks later but I see now that delivery did say 4 - 6 weeks so it came on time. I had also forgotten that I’d ordered it so what a lovely surprise. Love the watch.

A complete and utter scam DO NOT order from this bunch.

I ordered a watch 10 weeks ago and have still not received it.

There is never a reply to emails and no way to contact this bunch of scam merchants to resolve the issue.

I ordered a watch for my husband for Christmas. Order was confirmed via email and inventory of that item in stock shipping out of PA to FL so all should be easy. No other updates weeks later and impossible to reach anyone live or via email. Four emails ignored until I felt the company was a scam and said I’d report to BBB. Then I received a standard reply without any specific details about delivery time for my order. Customer service is available supposedly from 9-12 three days a week or maybe four but it doesn’t matter because no one answered the phone and I received a busy signal when I called during that time. With today’s technology, what companies answer with busy signals? Typically those that are not real or defunct. The company sent me a survey after replying to my email that didn’t answer my delivery question. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. Watch delivered now and working but I know there is no recourse if it stops working or if he didn’t like it.

Ordered a watch in September 23. Never received the watch. Contacted them and they first claimed they never had the order. Then, that I sent money to wrong PayPal account even though I bought it on their website!!?? Still nothing and no refund from PayPal so far either. £140 down the drain.

I ordered a watch which was supposed to be delivered on Dec 11. I emailed to confirm shipping and the watch was only shipped after I reached out. Come the 11th I checked the tracking number and FedEx just says delayed. No word from anyone as to why it is delayed. Now a week and a half after it's delivery date it still hasn't left king of Prussia.

Definitely a scam. Company wont respond to my emails anymore so I had to report the charge as fraud to my CC.

The original tracking number was fake. After I reported the fraud they actually shopped a product. What arrived was defective. Watch strap broke pretty quickly was told I was out of the 2 week return policy which makes sense as they shipped it a month late.

Purchased a new strap and now a month later the watch is dead.

Customer service is as useless as the products they sell.

Tried to be vocal on social media and they blocked me and deleted all the comments. Great business ethic.

Shop elsewhere.

Have two of these watches. Never had any problems with shipping, my latest one came within a week of ordering it. Both of these watches have a unique look that garners lots of compliments and the build quality looks solid.

I paid for my watch and NEVER received it. Sent them emails; no response. Called them (214-774-8881 / 704-820-6072); either ring busy or no one picks up. Calling my credit card company as a fraudulent transaction.

I ordered a wacth for my Dad for christmas. It came in 4 days as I ordered over the weekend. I liked it that much that I ordered one for me.This came in just 2 days.I am delighted with the watches.

Put it this way, had I seen it first in a shop, I would have passed it by.

In the advert, the 'Venture Chrono Blue/Orange' looks sporty, bright, distinctive, classy and fun; in the flesh, it is dull by comparison and with a near unreadable date due to the ridiculous decision to show the numbers in a rather dark orange against a rather dark blue. The image in their advert is a misrepresentation; easy to read the date there, isn't it?
In practical terms, the only chance of seeing the date is via the torch on your mobile phone but you would still need very sharp vision. Whoever decided the digits should be in dark orange rather than white - as per all other digits on the face - should, instead, make the tea and take the sandwich orders. How on earth did that pass quality control? Was there one?

It is also clumpy rather than elegant. In short, it reminds me of a watch you could buy for a few quid in one of my local Asian mega-markets in Spain. I note the chronograph is also off dead centre when at zero ie. just past the 12.

Am I bitterly disappointed ?
No. It was more than £700 less than the disaster of a 'Christopher Ward' watch I also bought from the Internet, at €130 and with a personal engraving which is, at least, the correct way round. (CW was too gormless to even manage that let alone accept that 'upside down' even matters.)
For this watch, it is worth noting I did have to get a friend in Germany to order and then post the watch for me since engravement is not offered if you live in UK. That added €20 odd to this slightly sorry saga.

Would I buy a watch ever again without seeing it in the flesh?

Sad that there was never any response from this company. It seems they are happy enough to acknowledge only the more favorable reviews.

It was always going to be a one-off association for me, having seen this watch delivered in its 'economy' box. For me, it's an irony among ironies. The Christopher Ward presentation was awesome, as if housing the crown jewels. I would have paid a pretty price for that sole example of quality on their part, I acknowledge.
Poor show all round, Detomaso. I wonder what you might be calling yourself in the next year or so.

There's a reason this company has an 'F' rating with BBB. Horrible customer service. Took over a month to get a watch, only to discover it was malfunctioning. Took a long time to get return label from company but I returned it. Company confirmed they received it back undamaged but didn't say if they were going to repair it, replace it or refund it. After I emailed them 3 times weeks later and called [either a busy signal or voicemail that no one returns]. Detomaso said they were refunding purchase price in 5-7 business days. 4 months later I still don't have my refund and they aren't replying to my email. I filed a BBB complaint but the company didn't respond to the BBB. Its ridiculous I now have to dispute with my bank. Company is def a scam or a front for something else because they don't care about customers or their reputation.

Detomas Zeitgeist sent the wrong watch. Returned the watch on Sept 9 as of Nov 24 still waiting for a credit on my credit card!
Impossible to get anyone in customer service on hold 4 times 25 minutes each time then phone disconnects.
Emails go unanswered. The worst company DO NOT buy a watch from Detomaso just throw your money out the window!

Ordered a watch 3 weeks ago and still haven’t gotten shipping confirmation.
