Disappointing experience
I express my disappointment with the service I recently received. Despite clear instructions given over the phone to your service representative to leave my package at the doorstep, the delivery deadline was missed.
Here’s a brief account of the incident:
1. After providing the service representative with explicit authorization for a contactless front door delivery, I was reassured that the package would be delivered on the same day. I even knew the delivery attempt was underway, as I could hear my dog barking in the background.
2. However, upon returning home, I found that the package had not been delivered. I immediately attempted to contact the representative again, but my calls went unanswered.
3. I then called the DHL customer service hotline, only to face an additional layer of frustration. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes and answering multiple verification questions, no resolution was provided.
This delivery was meant to be a birthday gift, and the delays and lack of communication made for a deeply frustrating experience. I expect DHL to maintain a higher standard of service, and this incident has been quite disappointing.

Last few month also the same funny thing happened, we scheduled a DHL delivery before 11:30am Because 12pm is office lunch time, but the Delivery person arrived late so he failed to pick up the parcel. after around 4pm +- he came to collect, he blame us and ask why NO ONE in office during 12pm? Hello, since we arranged the time before 11:30am, is you late to do collection and in the end still you blame us???

Terrible Experience
Litany of screw ups by this putative logistics company.
1. Attempted delivery a day earlier than what they indicated. Obviously not home so delivery failed.
2. Rescheduled to next day. Stayed home for delivery. Heard nothing from intercom, no attempt to contact me, driver just left.
DHL's Failure to Deliver
I had the utmost disappointment with DHL's delivery service today. After patiently waiting at home for hours, eagerly anticipating the arrival of my package, I received a text message notification claiming that they had attempted delivery but found no one home. This couldn't have been further from the truth.
Not a single doorbell was rung, nor did my phone ring with any attempt to contact me. Feeling utterly perplexed and frustrated, I immediately dialed their customer service hotline. While the lady on the other end was polite and tried to be helpful, the outcome was still disheartening. She attempted to contact the delivery person, but to no avail – he was nowhere to be reached.
To add insult to injury, I was informed that the only option available was to reschedule the delivery for the next day. This meant sacrificing yet another day of my time, eagerly waiting for a parcel that I shouldn't have missed in the first place. The cherry on top? I have to be physically present to sign for it, adding further inconvenience to an already aggravating situation.
The sheer frustration of this experience cannot be understated. DHL's inability to execute a simple delivery not only wasted my time but also left me questioning the reliability of their service. It's utterly disappointing and unacceptable. If this is the standard of service they provide, I'll be looking for alternatives in the future.
Very disappointing service,. besides of took more than a month to received, they didn't even warn me if my item to be sent is not allowed or allowed, from Singapore to France.
Sent a 1 kg parcel to a friend from Singapore to France, a tin of sealed cookies and a token.took more than a month to received and they didn't even warn me that they op n it and took out the tin of cookies, while before hand I asked them if that item will allowed,and so yes it is.but why they didn't even let us know about it. Limited edition whisky damaged by DHL
I purchase expensive limited edition investment whisky from overseas, shipped via DHL. My whisky box was damaged by DHL during their checking of goods. DHL stubbornly refused to compensate even a penny. NEVER USING DHL AGAIN. BAD SERVICE and IRRESPONSIBLE. User beware.
Overanxious person’s joy.
Had to send someone’s house keys back to them when they left them behind after staying with me. The online quote was one third that of a rival courier service and the estimated delivery time was the same 12 noon on Monday. The drop off point person at a Cheers shop did warn me about things with batteries but I didn’t think anything of it until I had a notification saying the package had been held up as it had a transponder. However, the service request was kindly amended for me without the item being sent back and went on its way. The journey was remarkable with stops in Bahrain and Germany before reaching the U.K. There were 16 notes on the package’s journey. I was impressed that the 17th stop was the actual delivery and it was made within 18 minutes of the estimated time. It was delivered at 11:38 am.
Super convenient to be able to drop off at a Cheers. Wonderful estimate of delivery time. Very cheerful customer service officer when I rang to enquire why the package was in Heathrow airport so long - sadly no delivery over the weekend. Overall, however, I was mightily grateful for the safe return of those keys.

DHL is a useless courier. Do not trust them with anything valuable. Their notifications are last minute. They do not wait even if they say ok. They will only reschedule and expect you to be present the entire day. Their customer service portal is unable to help with anything and just ask you to email their customer support. The delivery drivers are uncooperative and uncontactable. Hence your valuable items are better couriered with a more caring and professional courier

rude and incompetent DHL service
expected a delivery so purposely stayed home. delivery person did not attempt delivery (knock or ring doorbell) and left leaflet saying i was not home. when i went to reschedule another delivery, DHL staff hung up me 5 times. unacceptable and incompetent service. will never use DHL again.
One minute
Scheduled a DHL Express delivery for 26th November 2023 between 3.15 pm and 5.15 pm.
Delivery person arrives at 4.27 pm. Rings the doorbell once. Leaves. No pre-call. No attempts to contact me to clarify. Nothing. There is no way for me to call them to come back despite it being 4.28 pm - despite it being a minute after they rang the doorbell.
I call the DHL Express hotline. It's closed on a Sunday. I contact their online customer service. Nothing can be done. The driver can only be called back the following day because I wasn't waiting like an expectant puppy for a service I supposedly paid a premium for.

1 Star is still to good for them. I would have rated -100 stars if possible. The worst experience as they keep claiming that there was a call card placed at the house. However, there was no call card given for failed delivery and they returned my package to the seller. They are a cheat!!

I had a very important document to send to Melbourne from Singapore. I looked up all the courier companies to help make up my mind to select the one most reliable and can deliver on time. It was my good fortune that i decided on DHL because of the customer service i received when i dropped the documents with Speedbox on 4th floor lucky plaza Orchard Road. Because of their customer service officer named Claire who convinced me that it will be on time for it takes 2 working days. I trusted her and DHL and proceeded with the transaction. Thankfully, my decision was spot on. They delivered it in 1.5 working days. DHL tracking system was excellent and I must say that I am very pleased with the overall experience. Thank you and well done , DHL Singapore!
Glacial Pace of Staff
Unimaginably slow customer service. The woman I spoke to, Casey from Singapore is probably over 100 years old with severe cognitive impairment. She took 20 minutes to tell me that my delivery can’t be expedited. Even a bot is more sophisticated.
Lousy service
Lousy service, called customer service hotline couldn’t even expedite delivery, then what is the hotline for. Parcel stuck at delivery facility since Saturday, would only be delivered on following Monday, however checked at 11am Monday, still no progress. Checked with Customer service hotline, Dhl has scrapped scheduled delivery, therefore delivery would only start in the afternoon 2pm to end of the day ie 10pm. Since there is no more scheduled delivery, it is no point to pay more for its service. It’s better to switch to other freight forwarders which can provide better service standards.

Bloody screwed up organisation full of lies. Simply sent a notification saying no one is at home when they don't even bother to really arrive and press the doorbell, no card left at the door step as well to state that no one was at home. Have some sense of integrity in your work ethics!
IMBECILE COURIER
It was shown that my order has been delivered today when I was at home. I went downstairs immediately and didn't see anyone. Then I tracked my package again and I was told "we have missed each other" but nobody ever called or rang the bell. Worst service ever. GO F YOURSELF DHL.
Super fast and easy, great service
I ordered a package from an online store on Tuesday from the UK, reached my doorstep today (Thursday). This is the umpteenth time I've ordered through the store and they always use DHL to deliver. Super quick and easy to track the parcels, and super easy to get to a customer service officer too.
