Worst Service

I have parcel that originally scheduled to be delivered on 18/10/2022. However I will not be home during the day. Hence, I have a chat with the customer service to check whether I can request to send within certain time frame and it was got rejected and stated due to high demand of delivery they can't fulfil my request. Hence I asked about the On demand services, if change address or place in locker, will it be send on the same day. They tell me will incurred extra 1 day, hence I put up the request on 17/10/2022 and before even the item arrived in their warehouse for transit. After I waited the next and there not update from the tracking or change of anything till 5pm and the tracking system still show that it will arrived at the end of 18/10/2022. And the changes only show that the item has been schedule for delivery. Then I chat with the customer service again, and they say the item will only be pass to SingPost tomorrow morning and item will be placed before 7pm (NO CONFIRMATION AGAIN).

For real, if they already know this is the flow or process, where can't they update the estimated date on the tracking system after customer choose the option. Secondly, why can't they have a cut-off time for changing the on demand deliver option. If you have change it before certain time, you can still received it on the estimated date for locker or send to alternate address. With the situation currently, some people work from home and office alternate day, if so how can use the send to alternate address option whenever I change it incurred extra 1 more day. But I also can't change to deliver on certain date as there is uncertainty on the working place and hours too. This is also why I choose a locker instead of the certain delivery date and alternate address. But the experience of choosing the locker make it more frustrate, when there another round of uncertainty of deliver date & time.

Worst delivery ever

I received a message on 12 Oct 22 from DHL that my item is ready for collection and estimated delivery is on 13 Oct. However, I will not be at home on 13 so I decided to change the delivery method to store the item in the POPstation @ Kallang as I will be there the entire day because I have a concert to attend.

On 13 Oct, I click on the link that to track my item and it stated it under scheduled delivery "13 Oct 2022 by end of day". But I receive no message until 11pm. So contacted the customer service and said that the delivery will be made by 14 Oct at Kallang POPstation. [IF THERE IS A DELAY, WHY DIDN'T YOU STATE SO?!] So I requested to change the POPstation location nearer to my place which is Tiong Bahru because it doesn't make sense for me to travel all the way to Kallang again since I do not stay there nor am I going for another concert any time. The staff said okay and will make the delivery accordingly.

On 14th Oct, I checked on the parcel tracking again, and AGAIN it stated it under scheduled delivery "14 Oct 2022 by end of day". And AGAIN, I didn't received any message from them. [I was angry but I was like okay, nevermind, i shall give them one more day. If still no news tomorrow, I will contact them again.]

On 15th Oct, I received a message that due to high demand at POPstation @ Tiong Bahru, they will change to the next nearest POPstation which is at Kallang. [HELLO?! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER POPSTATION NEAR ME, WHY KALLANG? KALLANG IS SO FAR FROM ME AND IT REALLY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FOR ME TRAVEL ALL THE WAY DOWN AGAIN JUST TO COLLECT A PARCEL. THERE'S QUEENSTOWN, CHINATOWN, ORCHARD ETC THAT'S NEAR ME BUT NOOOOO DECIDED TO PUT AT KALLANG. WOW, i give you 100 claps for your "fantastic" service.]

This is ridiculous.

On 15th Oct 3:50PM, I recevied message from DHL that they have placed the item at Kallang and is ready for collection. [WOW, I COULD HAVE COLLECTED MY ITEM IF YOU GUYS DELIVER IT AT THE SAME TIME ON 13 OCT. And now I have to purposely travel down to Kallang just to collect my item. WOW.]

This is nonsensical. Why? The staff cannot work and deliver things on time because Dont Have Lunch is it?!? DHL you need to buck up man. I thought DHL is a trustable and reliable delivery company, guess I was wrong all these while.

The service sucks!!!!!
They convince me to choose premium packages and turns out tell me it’s just normal e- commercial packages.
The delivery was told that be affected by pandemics although now almost every country has opened their boundaries.
When trying to call them for tracking my parcel, the service center reply me why didn’t you choose express at first.
The attitude is totally unacceptable and terrible.
Never choose this company again to deliver any parcel.

always late

always having issues with them. If the store overseas could only change their courier! Not the first time it happened, they picked up my parcel beyond the scheduled time! i specifically put a note when i scheduled it online that our condo are very strict for delivery/pickup and gave them the latest time they can arrive to pickup my parcel but still, they came late!! they dont even call or message you that they'll be late... you're like an idiot waiting unless you'll call their customer service! 😤

My delivery was supposed to be from…

My delivery was supposed to be from 8pm-10pm but driver decided to come at 640pm and blamed the customer for not being at home forced us to reschedule delivery. 8pm-10pm means 8pm to10pm. Called customer service and they said it's an estimated timing. DHL, next time send a message saying "Delivery will be from 8pm-10pm, WE WILL COME EARLIER BEFORE 8PM"
On the paper, it should be "We decided to come before scheduled timing, this is DHL's fault, not the customer's fault" Don't even put "Customer did not answer the door"
What if it's an item we need urgently for work? What if I rushed back home to be in time for my delivery at 8pm but driver decided to come earlier. Will DHL claim my cab far back home????? Will DHL explain to my clients that because your driver delivered early than scheduled timing so I can't use it for work???
IF your driver decides to come earlier than the schedule delivery timing, don't blame your customers. At least give your customer a call. Don't force us to reschedule again. YOUR driver should come back again between 8pm-10pm. Waste of my time!

Bad company

Rang threw argos again today. Spoke to someone called Charles, said he ring back before 4. Still waiting!. And still waiting for my washing machine. Should of been delivered 8-11-21. Bad Delivery drivers, who shouldn't be on the road,as excuse for not delivering was couldn't get down the street, haha. There's bigger vehicles what come down my street, and they have no problem. I'm a driver and could of got wagon down street. I'm disgusted with this company!

We have requested a quotation for a shipment from Singapore to Dubai (10 boxes). the quotation seemed attractive only to be billed for double the cost post shipping. DHL has a reputation but it is misused. I will certainly not use them in the near future.

Please read! This is not a review after 1 isolated incident!!
I have had DOZENS of problems With this company! Where i am sender and where I am merely recipient after buying online!

The German branch of the DHL monster company have lost 2 parcels - they are particularly aggressive and rude - there is NO English lines to call and when you call the German line they shout and laugh in German saying “NON! NON ENGLISH!!” I was using Google translate and the employees shouted and laughed (in a aggressive way) and mocked me - before hanging up! This happened with both instances where the parcels with sent with DHL Germany

I have had parcels go missing sent with DHL UK, DHL PARCEL, DHL ES (Spain) DHL DE(Germany) DHL EXPRESS, ... Many if not all of the DHL divisions - ALL have lost the items, left them in random places, asked random people to sign, claimed they have attempted delivery when they have not and have returned the items to sender - ALL!!

It is appalling DHL are permitted to trade!

I never leave reviews but this company is beyond APPALLING - they need to be stopped by trading standards!
dozens of instances of DHL losing my parcels or delivering to RANDOM addresses including:

* left a heavy furniture item at a random petrol station!!! Had no idea who the signee was!! Looked him up on FB and luckily found he owned a petrol station where the item was left!

* lost a big parcel containing all my clothes and other items required while i stay with my father who is suffering cancer abroad - lost for 5 1/2 months- they have no means of investigating where the parcel went after last scan - no replies to emails on vet the months, no explanation on what had been attempted, simply say “we emailed international team, they don’t know; sorry for inconvenience. file a claim attaching receipts for every item”

*tracking advising item is ready for collection at “service point”- does not explain where the service point is - no way to speak to a human to find out - used online service to locate nearest service point, the closest listed did not have the item. The item then says collection time expired not collected returned - with no way of finding out where it was being held in order to collect!!

99.9% NO HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA TELEPHONE- automated messages only!

IF YOU finally find a way to get through to a human if they are in another jurisdiction (Germany particularly) they hang up and laugh at you,Spain and others simply cannot speak English and hang up!

NO means between offices to communicate with colleagues in other countries DHL offices.

NO EMAIL RESPONSES

NO RESPONSES to Investigation claims!

RUDE ARROGANT EMPLOYEES ON FB CHAT WHO RESPOND AFTER DAYS WITH SHORT 1 LINE REPLYS WHICH ARE OF NO USE.

LABYRINTH OF CONNECTED DHL COMPANIES ALL WHICH SAY THEY ARE INDEPENDENT- ALL FAIL TO GIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TRUST DHL!

THE WORST SERVICE EVER

I sent two parcels on the 18/12/2020. They have not arrived. It is very difficult to contact customer services. When I do they are useless. No help whatsoever. I will NEVER use this company again.

Took about as long as expected…

Took about as long as expected considering it was coming from Europe, but man tracking has to be done better because it gave me mild anxiety tracking the stuff, because the order of where and what they post the package is at is confusing and a little out of whack. Friendly customer service though I'll give them that.

I bought online a lot. I love DHL better than UPS or fedex because they have delivery on demand which is very convenient. And the delivery man are friendly and efficient especially when picking up my items to be returned. They never fail.

SUCKS Customer Service!!

Our supplier sent us a parcel today which we are not aware about this shipment.
DHL customer service Ashikin called and inform us on the payment collection. My colleague picked up her call. before passing the phone to me, she needs to take down the name before passing the phone to me. Ashikin replied "DHL" with inpatient volume.
When she was on the phone with me, i told her that i am not aware of this shipment and ask to fax over the invoice and we shall check with our supplier for clarification.
She replied with her inpatient voice and ask me to get back to her immediately once i checked with my supplier.
She called me back in 2-3mins time and I told her that i haven't received her fax yet. She sounds inpatient and told me that she had fax over the invoice. I asked her to re-fax so that i can check with my supplier immediately. She replied "ok, i will re-fax again. Anyway i had fax over to you just now" and put down the phone immediately when i haven't finish my conversations!!
This is nonprofessional at all!!
How can she shown her attitude when the customer is talking to her nicely!??!!

The 3rd time when Ashikin call again, my colleague picked up her call. When my colleague told her that i was in the ladies, she replied "anyway i just want to check whether she received my fax or not!" then cut off the line immediately!

Such a sucks customer service!!
