Incompetent, uncaring, unbusiness-like company

CCS Medical is the worst company to deal with! My mother's diabetes supplies have to come through them because of Medicare billing. Their customer service is the worst and their patient portal is useless. Every time I have to call regarding an order it is close to an hour process. You're on hold forever before you're given a chance to be put in a que for a call back. When they call you back and get all the patient information they ask to put you on a "brief" (5-7 min.) hold and that's if they don't "accidentally" disconnect the call. And you would think having all the information pulled up they would call you back, but NO, you have to start the whole process over again. Why can't they ship the orders every 30 days, they have the whole month to get the insurance information verified, why wait until the day they are supposed to ship. They are the most incompetent medical business I've ever dealt with. Now I'm told because I checked on her order on the 5th that that's when they considered the order placed, even though I mailed in the order paperwork sent to me on or about August 10th. So now they're waiting on clinical note paperwork that they requested on the 6th. So who looses in this senerio, the patient with no concern by CCS. Brie-customer service lead can argue all she wants about me signing in to confirm the order on 9/5, but they recieved a signed order with the new insurance info well before then. Take responsibility and do your job!

Addendum: after a quick, painless call to my mother's insurance carrier, who in turn called CCS and got a similar run around, my mother's supplies were shipped overnight. The biggest blessing of the call to the insurance carrier was finding out she no longer has to use CCS for her supplies. She is now getting them from our local pharmacy and in a 90 day supply to boot. Good riddance CCS!

They're Trying to Kill Us

I use a Tandem X2 and Dexcom G6. Control IQ won't work on the pump unless I've installed a G6 sensor. Umpteen million times, CCS Medical has refused to send supplies despite my endo being very diligent about keeping up with paperwork (yes, I need the supplies because NO, there's no cure for type 1 diabetes).
They blatantly forgot to send my sensors in June and it took a month for me to get someone to send them. There were no issues on my end with doctors, insurance, or anything else. It was purely CCS Med's fault and when they checked my order status, all they said was, "I'm really sorry for that". They didn't even expedite shipping. I had to wait another ten days before getting my supplies - while my blood sugars ran through the roof and I spent many days sick and useless because my pump couldn't regulate my insulin dosages. They won't send test strips, either, because "you have a Dexcom and it doesn't need calibration" (yes, it does sometimes, you dolts).

There's no way to live chat or email someone at CCS Med, either. You have to call during business hours, which bankers are jealous of, and sit on "ignore" forever to speak with a person... I can neither confirm nor deny whether or not they're human because they all read from the same script. I'm not joking.

Because they "forgot" my last order, I've been checking my CCS Med profile every day to see when I can reorder. The last shipment was on the 5th of last month. It is now the 4th of the following month and they say I cannot reorder at this time.

I swear they're trying to kill us and they're not even being sneaky about it.

Absolutely the worst

Absolutely the worst. I use Dexcom G6.The company contacted my doctors office in May his office answered 2 days later. In July I get a letter in the mail, CCS Medical, calls me sends multiple emails every month, on this they didn't. I took what they sent my doctor filled it out on Wednesday and faxed it to CCS. I called later Wednesday,I was told she expedited the review my supplies would be sent Thursday next day air. It’s Friday night. I open my account to get shipping information and it has a note. Order will not ship until patient calls. I called earlier Friday and was told not to worry, my order would ship Friday night next day air. Lies upon lies.

I've been trying to get insulin pump supplies for three months.…

I've been trying to get insulin pump supplies from them for over three months. They always say that they need more paperwork from my doctor. They claim to have faxed documents to the doctor but my doctor never receives them. My insurance company requires me to use CCS so I'm screwed. I have a $6,000 piece of equipment for a paperweight! I had to go back to multiple injections. Every time I've called I've spoken with a different person who can't find my information, puts me on hold, then after a long time on hold hangs up on me.

Every time we need supplies it is an issue. They do not understand insurance benefits, and can not calculate costs. They do not take into account credits on the account, and you will always be over paying. If there was some place else to go we would .

Up grading my diabetic supplies from a simple pump to a CGM system took over a week and still no shipping status. On dept does not communicate with the other it’s a hand off not a smooth process. The past 3 calls made to customer support I was hung up on being transferred each inquiry made took over an hour

A bunch of buffoons stay away from this company

Trying to get diabetic supplies from this company is like pulling a tooth. This company simply needs to be out of business and we all need to file a class action lawsuit against them to ensure their demise. They are a joke, I have never ever dealt with a company, a medical company that was this bad. They have more buffoons working there than you can imagine. I am disgusted with this company which is why I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.I have also filed a complaint with my insurance carrier and I’m speaking to my brother-in-law who is an attorney to see what legal remedy there may be because they are putting peoples lives in jeopardy.

Bad company ,had to pay in full before…

Bad company ,had to pay in full before order is shipped.They could not come through on order so I called for a refund . They said it would take up to 4-6 weeks to process , they only do it at The end of the month . That was around 4/25 . I called them and said they would process it in 3 days . It’s been 2 weeks since then and no refund . Every time I call they put me on hold for up to a 1/2 hour at least . Still no refund . They require payment before processing order , I called and demanded my refund immediately but they ignored me , still no refund ?? Bad company

This company is a daytime nightmare

This company is a daytime nightmare. Every negative thing that has been said by others has been my experience. They don’t care about their customers. Can’t wait to see how they handle billing- that’s assuming that after eight weeks they actually send my Libre sensors. My doctor’s office is utterly disgusted and worried about my health. Anyone ready for a class action?

This company sucks

This company sucks! We have been going round and round with them for 9 months about getting our son's diabetic pump supplies. We have gotten 1 order correct during this time. And at his last appointment, his A1C was up over 9 and his bloodwork showed signs of early kidney damage. He's 15 years old!! Today, when we called them, we were told that they don't have a prescription or PWO or any clinical notes to go with his file. What a load of CRAP! I just spoke to the person at the doctor's office who verified that they have sent over everything they could possibly need and a prescription that's good for a year! Do not use this company if you have any choice at all. They don't care about their customers health at all. I'm thinking at this point of hiring a lawyer and filing a class action lawsuit.

We have fought with this company a few…

We have fought with this company a few years now . It’s so bad? My husband makes me order supplies cause they send his blood pressure and sugar thru the roof everytime he talks to them. Today? Was the most painless day we have ever had! Caniqua W. Was excellent!!! You better retain her and keep her happy! You need to clone her for all your customer service! Your very lucky to have her! Make sure she gets this review and include it in evaluations and make sure you give her a raise! I hope for CCS medical ? It’s my hopes you are paying her what she is truly worth!

The billing department is the worst.

The billing department is the worst.
I called and cleared up the problem twice and 2 years later I’m still getting billed for the same thing only they added more to it.
I have a credit card and n file and they bill that and then bill me a 2nd time.
One month they didn’t even bill my insurance and sent me the whole bill!!

Can't consistently reorder supplies

For the last 4 years when we need to reorder transmitters from CCS it takes at least 2 weeks of calling to get the order entered, this is even after they get all the paper work that is needed. We have no problem getting pump supplies or the G6 sensors ordered. It is just the transmitter and every time you call they have no record of your other calls. Worst customer service.

I have been trying to switch over to…

I have been trying to switch over to Dexavom from the Libre system. My Doctor sent over the order on June 24th and today is October 1st. I even declined a libre order for august because I was told the Dexacom was going to be shipping. The story changes every time I call. This has been the most time consuming and frustrating issue I have had to deal with. I now have no Dexacom and 4 hours left on my lady Libre. I give up. They say they care about their customers but this is a joke.

My transmitter was out

My transmitter was out. So I called the following day sept 03,2021. When I called first they clicked on me didn’t even call me back . So unprofessional next I called back they tell me internet is done. Customer service take done my information she says I will give you a call back when the internet comes back … I am still waiting for the call today is sept 10,2021. So I am out of transmitter still I have to pay for o it of pocket the strip because ccs medical can’t do there job !!! I am so done with this company !!!!

Ccs has not sent my diabetes transmitter for over two weeks. They said they would keep me informed, the supervisor would call and keep me up to date. They said twice that it was coming next day air. I still have no device

Ccs medical makes me forget that I have diabetes

Ccs medical makes me forget that I have diabetes... not because they make caring for my disease easier but because they send me incorrect supplies and the supplies are weeks to months late so I can’t give myself insulin properly. If you like never receiving help from customer support and being treated like your disease isn’t important choose CCS.

Let’s just say since November 2020 when…

Let’s just say since November 2020 when I was referred to this HORRIBLE company I have received 1, yes 1 supply order. Then, after a mistake y’all made because your customer service agents don’t know how to read notes properly.. canceled my order when they separated the two after 8 months of directing them to..I was literally in the dr office when they told me.. Yes your supplies are being sent. Just to find out a day later.. no because it was canceled you NOW need ANOTHER Dr rx...Why wasn’t this told you me 2 days prior WHEN I WAS WITH THE DR.? I was then charged 25$ to overnight my supplies. Only to find out UPS doesn’t even overnight on Saturday. So I was lied to Wednesday when I was told they were being overnighted. I was lied to and charged Friday for an overnight shipment. By then I was out completely even though I called week prior to that to let them know.

Not to mention my full time job now is to micro manage these incompetent people! They kept mixing my sensor order up with my pump supply order. So now I have nothing!

Needless to say I’ve been 4days now without my pump and my body is not use to injections so I’m running high then crashing.. all week!

Thanks to the “number one supplier of home medical supplies”. What a joke. The problem is your customers have chronic conditions they rely on you for and you could care less about us. Your supervisor aren’t any better either. Everyone should be trained on the same thing. I can call every day of the week and get a different answer and response of what is needed or pending ( as been my experience with your team). HOW DO YOU EXPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO GET YOU WHAT YOU NEED FOR THEIR SUPPLIES IF YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW!

DO NOT USE THEM!

Respectfully.. type 1 diabetic sitting here still waiting for her second supply order since November of 2020!

And no it’s not the insurance it’s not anything but these incompetent people. I’ve been a diabetic for 20 yrs I fully know what is needed and not needed which Is why I call them every freakin day to see what is still needed; so I don’t run into this exact issue.. see we’re that got me.

This is the worst company you can use…

This is they worst company you can use for your diabetes supplies. I tried to refill my pump supplies in January, it as now may 8th I still have never received my supplies. Nothing but the run around. Everything from its my Dr holding it up, to we have to verify your insurance. I only have medicare, how hard is it to do your job. 5 months and no pump supplies and not dexcom supplies. I called walgreens and got my dexcom delivered to my house in 4 days. My pump supplies I got from byraum medical within a week no issues.
