Couldn’t do 0 stars
Couldn’t do 0 star but would have if could. What an awful service.... seems very modern by using online systems but what a bad experience. Conned into getting additional cover due to value of item being sent.. of course they damaged my parcel. I entered a claims procedure.... of course it’s not their fault, guess what? Claim rejected! Never again!!! Now I’m over £300 down and have to pay out again!!
First of all online process seemed…
First of all online process seemed simple. Arranged for a Friday collection next day before 12. Was 25% more expensive than a Thursday but made sense being weekend.... however didn't arrive Saturday. Finally after being passed around on the phone it turns out they class delivery days as working days mon-fri...(very small fine print somewhere in t&c) Even the assistant admitted if I had done the economy service I would of had it the same time on Monday. When I asked why the ordering system allowed a next day service to be booked and couldn't be offerd/honoured they referred to the fine print. Didn't seem to care or want to help. So I had a very expensive economy 2-3 day delivery service! Won't use again!
Delivery area not accessible
"Delivery area not accessible. Delivery will be next working day."
Even though I live in a town that has multiple ways in, is next to major road connections and my house is accessible from three directions. I guess I have no choice but to wait another 4 days and take another day off work to wait for another delivery that will maybe come?
The best part was not being informed, at all and them not trying again the same day, despite this issue happening in the morning.
I will never use TNT again
I will never use TNT again.
I ordered 3-4 day delivery of a parcel from UK to NZ. The pick-up window was between 9:00am-5:30pm that day. They never arrived to collect it, and when I tried to contact them the next day to enquire as to why, there is no email address or phone number to contact them, just an automated chat bot window. They said that sometimes drivers were delayed in collecting, this was out of their control, and they could do nothing other than apologise and re-book, which would delay my delivery by another day. You are a courier company, literally your only job is to collect parcels on the date advised, and deliver on time. How is your inability to organise and schedule your drivers properly my problem or responsibility, and why should I absorb the time delays of that?
Additionally, I ordered 3-4 day delivery and the final delivery date I was given on my order (once paid) was 5 days. I asked why, and they said the 3-4 days was only an estimate and the delivery date could not be confirmed until after cancellation. Why did I pay for 3-4 day delivery if it was actually 5 days.
I refunded my order and used a competitor company, which was cheaper, faster and more exact in their collection times.
Very disappointed and will never use them again.
NEVER USE TNT IF YOU WANT PACKAGES…
NEVER USE TNT IF YOU WANT PACKAGES COLLECTED OR DELIVERED BECAUSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED ON 99% OF THE TIME!
TNT have merged with Fedex in 2018 and since then every package we send or receive has issues. Packages get delivered after weeks and you cannot find out where the shipment is when you want to get an update.
if you want a reliable courier then NEVER use TNT. I can suggest using UPS, DHL and DPD!
you may get issues with all of these couriers as well but at least the issues will only occur on 1% of packages sent and not 95% as with TNT.
You have all been warned!
Don’t waste your money on TNT direct!
Don’t waste your money.
They charged me £27.95 and took 18 days to deliver a letter to Abu Dhabi.
It took a week to register the pickup on their website. Customer service is nonexistent. No phone number to call on.
They use the services of TNT to pickup deliveries as they do not have their own drivers.
TNT denies any links with TNT direct.
Both companies are hopeless!
Worse part is that they refused to compensate for
Long delivery time saying that it is quite normal for 4% of the deliveries to miss the delivery time of 2 days. But taking 18 days? There is a big difference between delivering a letter to Abu Dhabi and Dublin as this was originally delivered to an location in Dublin!
Either their staff can not read English or doesn’t care who they deliver the parcel to as long as they get a signature.
Thankfully the letter arrived in Abu Dhabi after 18 days.
Be careful!
Useless!
Booked and paid for next day collection and waited in all day. They never turned up! Never heard any thing ftom them and now looking at the reviews seems a pretty common scenario. Cancelled the order and now awaiting a full refund. Rebooked through parcel monkey and collected speedily and politely by parcel force. Avoid any company with TNT in the title!
Worst delivery service I’ve ever encountered!
Most deplorable delivery service I have experience in my life - lived in 8 countries and in none did I encounter such delays, misrepresentation and utter disrespect for customers! Next day delivery turned Into 4 days (actually still waiting for my item)! Every day I called and got the same promises - it will be definitely be delivered tomorrow - but never did! If possible, AVOID!!!!
missing items
can you pls shut down this company the worst company I have ever dealt with they are thives my air-conditioning box just disappeared few weeks ago I have been chatting with them every day with no result I will report it to the government im not going to let go I have spoken with one of TNT staff told me that there is a big problem with missing items so pls don't use this ridiculous company thanks
Beyond unacceptable
Beyond unacceptable, pay the extra to send it with a more reputable courier In fact I'm having to now visit Citizen Advice to take my complain further as a matter of principal.
Other couriers have never dissapointed me so it's a bit of my own fault for using this comapany. I'm dissapointed and shocked that this is how they choose to do business.
Be prepared to be passed back and forth between this company and the courier they outsource to without every knowing who you've called - the number sometimes diverted me to the courier and at times parcel2go yet when there's an issue they play ping pong with you.
You'll receive contradictory information at every corner and never know who is truly dealing with your parcel. I suppose that's the whole point it's easy to pass the problem back and forth.
The live chat on their website is always mysteriously unclickable, not there or just links to a different FAQ question with conveniently place #links within their anchor text.
Contact information is mysteriously hard to get a hold of. Visit any reputable company and you'll find contact details without even thinking about it.
My parcel was supposed to arrive within 4 days but it took over a month.
Since the online tracking stopped working I had to call every time to track my parcel and this was never solved. On my first call I was told the parcel was in South Africa, on my second call 2 days later i was told it hadn't left the UK, on my third call I was told it would arrive within a few days.
In between that the tracking numbers changed without notice and i was made to sound unreasonable when the call handler couldn't find the order with the tracking numbers I was given. Even though i had an order number, tracking number and case number I had to persist and convince them to use other details to track my order. Although they realised the tracking number changed i was not told and had to do it all over again on my following call.
The parcel was held at customs for 7 days before I chased it up without being notified - I was told that it was my responsibility despite being told otherwise when I booked it. So make sure you guess in advance which route and countries the courier chooses to send your parcel through and prepare customs declarations for all those possible routes.
I was promised a call back on more occasions than i can count fro the case handler (i never got one). I was at one point told that the case handler who emailed me with their name in the signature and who I had spoken to several times does not exist and I quote - "in ten years of working here I've never heard of that person".
I was hung up on several times, on a few ocassions i was told to contact TNT Direct, then i was told to contact Parcel2Go directly and then i was told in fact i didn't have to do any of that but deal with TNT who dealt with my queries but as soon as I mentioned i was unhappy with the service I was told i'll have to call TNT Direct who then passed me back to Parcel2Go. Apparently they're all the same but not actually the same (figure that one out). I have a VAT receipt of my payment to TNT Direct I only have TNT Direct reference numbers but it seems that TNT Direct is powerd by Parcel2Go (check the bottom of their website) so who knows who is who!
To put a nail in the coffin when the parcel arrived at the destination the receiver was called by the local courier they outsourced to and told that they had to travel 40 miles to the airport and collect the parcel. To my surprise I called to find out if it was the case and I was told yes "We don't do delivery to the address in that country" something they didn't mention when i booked delivery to the address (Other couriers I've used in the past do) so be careful as to why this company offers cheaper deals.
All in all the most frustrating 4 weeks I've ever experienced. Unfortunately there is no email, phone number or working live chat to place my complaint.
STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.

The worst company ever , don’t hire never
I got a shipment with them , they broke the law opening the package and they damage 1800 £ machine . I paid un insurance to cover the total item and they don’t replying me about what I need to claim , I sent them emails with pictures and receipts of the machine and the shipment . No answer at all , I went to the live chat and they told me they don’t accept the pics and the receipts and that they don’t check emails everyday , so when we’re you going to tell me you need different pics and receipts ? , when the deadline is gone right?. So this happened 3 days ago , I belong to a big company and they think they can scam people because they are never gonna use them , but you know what , big mistake we got all the evidences and I am gonna email them to tnt direct email tomorrow and after that my boss will call his attorney , but first we are gonna give what they ask , and later we will see them in court . For .. date and privacy protection law , completely poor customer service , never reply and don’t get the right claim process to the clients , never contact me in case something about proofs is missing , and for many thing more . This is not a joke be ready tnt direct .
Absolute Joke
Tried to arrange for a collection, labels wouldn't print as there was a problem with the address. Asked me to contact live chat, no link to live chat on Mobile, PC, IE or Chrome.
Used a competitor instead which had no problem with the address, tired to cancel order with TNT which again directed me to Live chat where again there was no link to chat, with no other alternative contact method.
My advice would be to avoid at all costs.
I do not believe this company it cost…
I do not believe this company it cost me £38 including added insurance for protection against loss or damage. And they completely smashed it costing me a total of £148 and it took me two weeks to find it and then tried to put the blame on me .the extra amount that I paid for insurance was a total waste of money and this company is a total waste of time .would I use this company again. No i certainly will not and anyone who does i wish them all the best. They are not going to pay me a penny
terrible service
terrible service. would never use!!!
promised 1-2 days delivery. a week now!!!
DO NOT USE!!!
Service is appalling !
SERVICE IS APPALLING!!!
takes over 2 weeks to request a POD and when ever you contact someone on the web chat they all say the same thing ' we will come back to you'
I sent a parcel to a customer in New…
I sent a parcel to a customer in New York last week - for delivery no later than Friday 1 March. The tracking service says it is in the US at the TNT location but has not been sent on yet to my customer - so it is now 4 days late and I have received no details of when it will be delivered. I would like to speak to TNT Direct and have searched their website but can find no telephone number details. I tried to use their email contact form but it didn't seem to work - no email address is given either.
How can you have a delivery company with no easily available contact details to check up on failure to deliver.
Can someone from TNT Direct please tell me how to get in touch with them! I would like to find out what has happened to my parcel so I can tell my customer
Total rip off, next day ,didnt collect
Paid for next day delivery with extra to guarantee it next day. Never collected it. Rang the next day and they said they weren't collecting as the order was cancelled by parcels2go. Parcels2go said as far as tgeir concerned the parcel has gone...still fighting
The live chat today was extremely…
The live chat today was extremely helpful (both Emily and Brian), in resolving booking queries – it solved things very quickly and without any palaver!
Completely unreliable
Completely unreliable! Worst company ever. My parcel was never picked up and the chat service to help was useless. Three days of frustration and I finally cancelled the whole thing.

Avoid this service at all costs
Avoid this service at all costs. I wish I'd read the awful reviews for TNT before I booked with them. I booked a collection and no one showed up on the day. I contacted them the next day and they told me that collections often couldn't be completed for a variety of reasons and that this was standard. What kind of delivery company operates like that?! They then told me collection would happen that day. It didn't. What an absolute joke of a company.
