Terrible Service
TNT lost my important documents I sent to USA and I had to get them re-done and re-sent by another company. I have been trying to get someone to speak to me from TNT for compensation but no-one will even communicate with me despite phone calls and numerous e-mails. After sales service is diabolical. Do not use TNT !!
Disgusting and immoral - forced to seek legal support
Disgusting and immoral. They've lost 2 of my parcels, both were expensive. Customer service couldn't care less and now, after more than 1 month, they are refusing to admit my parcel has been lost/stolen because they clearly are trying to find an excuse to refuse to refund me, despite the fact I paid the extra for 'full insurance'. I'm now having to start legal proceedings with small claims court
SHOCKING
SHOCKING! 2 Failed delivery attempts. Both times someone was at home. No delivery vehicle in site. Terrible customer service, talk to an online chat agent, who has no interest or control of the problems. AVOID this company!
Collected on schedule, delivered next day
TNTdirect were the best price by a long margin for a 38kgs 4 foot punch bag, picking up from Nottingham, delivering to North Wales. I ordered on the Tuesday for Weds pick up. My client popped out to pick his kids up between 3:30 -4:15 and TNT had been and left a note (always the way right?). I rebooked the next morning for later that Thursday using the website (which was very easy). They collected at 3pm. The next day at 11am, the punch bag was at my house. The delivery driver was courteous. Brilliant experience. The only 'negative' I can think of would be the window of 9am - 5:30pm for both collection and delivery. Factoring in the price however, means that this was not an issue for me being how I work from home anyway. My client was slightly disgruntled at having to wait in 'all day', but I reassured him that they would be there, and TNT came up trumps twice! Customer service was always responsive too. To improve the overall experience it would be good to have updates of driver progress or a contact number for the driver. That would have appeased my client. Would I recommend? Based on my single experience here, YES! Speak as you find I say :-)
Avoid at all costs
Seriously, it's not worth wasting your time, money or effort on this mob and they're best left well alone.
I had to send three packages to the USA, all of which held the exact same contents. From the off, the delivery driver didn’t have a clue what it was he was supposed to be collecting and handed me back all the documents I’d had to prepare. The boxes then sat in a depot for a week before I was asked to provide so much information you’d have thought I was sending hazardous materials and, finally, they were dispatched to the States nine days after collection. I should add that these were all booked onto a three-day ‘Express’ delivery. Today, three weeks on, two of the packages are still sat awaiting ‘formal customs clearance’ while the third package was eventually delivered sixteen days after collection.
It seems to be the norm nowadays that when you send anything internationally you expect bad service, never actually achieving the stated delivery date and receive a web of lies from customer service departments when you dare question their ineptitude. TNT Direct is no different and the hope is that FedEx (as bad as they are) having acquired TNT, goes through them like a dose of salts and gets rid of absolutely everyone associated with this sad excuse of a business.
But all is not lost! As a postscript, I sent the exact same contents to the exact same addresses using Transglobal Express last week because of TNT's delays. Four days later all three had safely arrived at their respective destinations and the total cost was lower. Who’d have thunk it?
Edit: So it's 19th October and over a month since the packages were sent on a three-day express. Just been informed that the two boxes allegedly waiting for customs inspection have been 'lost'. Read into that what you will.
Update: 4th April, so six months on and despite numerous calls and Twitter messages to TNT they have declined to help. This morning Trading Standards have taken a file from me and added it to a 'large number' (their words) of other complaints. I'm not so bothered about the lost packages, but am hoping TNT Direct get their comeuppance via legal means. I recommend anyone else having problems goes directly to TS.
HORRIBLE COMPANY!!
HORRIBLE!!! Don’t ever use them. Customer service over the phone, NOT helpful, depot here in Birmingham are horrible and won’t even help you. They’re not worth your money, stay away!
Disgusting pathetic service
Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had to deal with a company. Absolutely diabolical. Wouldn’t use tnt, tntdirect or fedex it they were free.
There are no polite words for how I hate this awful, awful company
TNTDirect accepted an order (TNT1800082) and massively failed.
TNTDirect accepted an order to ship a large parcel from UK to The Netherlands (Price £65.90 ... WHAT!!). Next day collection window 9am to 5:30pm (gee thanks!). They didn't collect, didn't explain. I rescheduled to next day collection window 9am to 5:30pm and stayed home again. They didn't collect, didn't explain.
I cancelled the order & placed it with TransGlobalExpress/DPD (£19.76 ... TNTDirect please note) Next day collection window 14:23 - 15:23 (TNTDirect please note) - parcel collected and delivered in uni 3 working days to The Netherlands.
My lesson: Use TransGlobalExpress/DPD, never this awful overpriced under-performing company.
Cannot Trust TNT
No ownership of the pick up or delivery.Pay a premium price for delivery in 2-3 days and they deliver a week later.Shame on customer servives nobody knows which systems work
Disgusted.
Disgusted.
Crap customer service! They are Complete scammers!!
Everyone should report their story to watch dog!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
AVOID!
AVOID!! I’d give -5 if I could! What a awful company! Loosing parcels! Customer service is a joke!
Absolutely Shocking Service run by…
Absolutely Shocking Service run by Parcel2go.com for customer service and live chat. 15 failed collections when paying for Next Day Service. Could not be worse. Customer service not interested in resolving the ongoing issues with appalling customer service. The collection drivers are running the business they collect if they feel like it. Avoid at all costs
First and Last Time I will use TNT Direct
I made the mistake of using this company to send an important legal document to Costa Rica. The delivery date specified was supposedly just four days later! Whilst I appreciate that we are in the middle of a pandemic, the parcel would never have been delivered had the recipient not contacted TNTs depot in San Jose to verify his identity and confirm his address. He was told that they had no address or telephone number for him despite this all being on TNT's system. I spent hours with their customer service trying to establish where the parcel was and what was happening as the online tracking tells you very little. Each time I was told that the address was invalid and each time I had to explain how addresses work in Cost Rica. I had no confidence that their customer service were being proactive and we had to do all the running to ensure the document was eventually delivered some 3 weeks later. My advice is to spend a little more for a reliable service. This is the first and last time I will use TNT Direct.
Helpful up until order was placed.
Helpful up until order was placed.
Once placed, really unhelpful.
Thieves company, never use it
Never use this company for shipping abroad. I sent two parcels to Singapore from the UK with one tracking number on July 1st 2020. They are worth £1400 each and I declared that amount in the custom document. So, after several days, the tracking system showed that the item is rejected by the receiver, because they only receive one of two parcels. After I called and emailed the customer service (CS), they tracked that the missing item was last scanned in their facility in Dartford, but never arrived to Singapore. So it is completely their fault.
So I tried to claim for my loss through the CS, and they keep asking silly evidence, such as the proof that it is missing. Meanwhile, it is their customer service that confirmed that my item is last seen in Dartford and never reached singapore. After exhausting complains, they offerd me only £50 for covering £1400 loss due to their mistake. Their reason is that I didnt put insurance on that item. I didnt put insurance since I trusted them that they will deliver it in Singapore. They had one job and they failed. They should refund my item since it is still in their possession in Dartford somewhere, instead of offering me £50. I suspect that because they see that the item is valuable without insurance, they became irresponsible intentionally.
So, I dont want you to experience this similar experience, so I share my wonderful experience with TNT.
Terrible experience and disgusting customer service
I would give less than 1 star if i could.
AVOID AVOUD AVOID
They lost one of my packages from one order and have been stringing us along for 3 weeks with blatant lies about ‘the package has been found, the package has been delivered’ etc, when we received nothing.
I will report this company to the authorities- they deserve to get closed down.
Disgusting and appalling.
UPDATE: Yesterday they have lied to us that someone from ‘Claims’ would call us before 11 am today.
We contacted them at 11 and they told us someone will contact us by 13 :) still waiting to see who is this mystery person.
This company is a joke- save your patience and your money!
AVOID LIKE U WLD AVOID COVID!
Sending docs to Tblisi in Georgia. Quoted 2-3 day delivery. Collected on time on Monday. From then on it went downhill. Tracking showed delivery wld be Weds. Recipient waited all day- no delivery. Can’t call TNT direct so into live chat. Told package is in Tbilisi and awaiting customs clearance. This turned out to be a blatant lie as as we speak 1 week later it’s sitting at Amsterdam. At one point I was told it’s lost- describe your package! Brown A4 envelope. Their response? Any discerning features as we have many thousands of brown packages!!! Well sorry but a brown envelope is a brown envelope- wld have put it in a dress had I known it needed to stand out! Every single agent on live chat apart from Violet lied to me. Finally she told me it’s still in Amsterdam. They can’t give a refund until It’s delivered!! What a joke! So if it’s never delivered??.... no refund! I wld never use such an incompetent company again. Their customer services are non existent- when I requested to speak with a manager I was told managers don’t chat!! Of course they don’t- why wld a customer services manager interface with customers?!!! If I cld give zero stars I wld. 🤬
TNT is the worst provider I have ever…
TNT is the worst provider I have ever encountered in my life. Too bad I can’t rate zero or negative star.
Unfortunately Home office used TNT to deliver the BRP card.
Online tracking does not work. Called current service - more than an hour waiting time each time, get cut off right after getting through. And the one I finally managed to speak with was rude
Anyways - it has been pushed twice my delivery. Still waiting and doesn’t seem like I’m getting it anytime soon
And as I’m typing this - still on phone trying to get through. An hour and 20 minutes.
Worst company to send your parcels
Worst company to send your parcels. Extremly careless with handling expensive and heavy parcel. Misleads customers. Used it for a collection of a Mac desktop purchased from Ebay. Despite large signs of "FRAGILE ITEM HANDLE WITH CARE" and carefully box packed with bubble wrap the desktop arrives broken. On top of that they promptly sell insurance to you despite being fully aware of the fact that they don't cover computer desktops in their insurance, only to tell you that they won't honour it with the message "Unfortunately, the item you decided to send appears on our prohibited items and no-protection list". "AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU ARE SENDING EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT". This is the last I have used them. Did not expect this from a company like TNT. Won't touch them with a barge pole next time.
AVOID
£25 for a parcel to be collected and return to Amazon - driver didn’t show - rescheduled and didn’t show again - waste of time - used parcelforce in the end and it’s been collected and delivered already - cancelled and trying to apply for a refund - awful service. TNT should remove the ‘send now’ link on their page which directs you to TNT Direct as it’s very misealing.
