Purchased a product key for a MS 2016…
Purchased a product key for a MS 2016 product with lifetime activation) and inquired when i received MS notifications that i needed to purchase Office 365. Received a response say "this is not our problem and are you kidding us?" and "Stop scamming us!". i sent pictures of my transaction and then they responded that these are different products and this is not their problem. after i sent snapshots of my receipt and details of purchase i was put in touch with a supervisor who explained this is a common issue and provide some suggestions. meanwhile i continued to receive insults from the first representative i inquired with who i found very unhelpful, rude and unprofessional.
Update 4/21/25:
Had to re-install Office 2016 onto the same PC to resolve the MS365 issue and Direct Games told me to buy another product key as the one i bought earlier cannot be used again (even if on the same PC). I'm disappointed this key does not function like a typical product key that can be re-installed on the same PC and that i now need to buy another key to install the same program again on the same PC.
