Do not order!! It’s a scam!!!

I wish I had read the reviews before I place an order. A month has passed and I haven’t received my order. Last week I emailed them and I was told it would be delivered within the next 3 days, but it wasn’t. They have not responded to my subsequent emails and do not answer the phone.
I reported them to my bank to get my money back.

Received no goods

Received no goods - received no response to emails or phone calls also requested refund which has also failed to materialise.

trustpiliot should update their star rating with one containing an x in it representing 0 for cases like this alledged company.

Order elsewhere!!

Can I firstly say to all the poor people on here who haven't received their goods that they need to report this to their bank. Email this company to say they are doing so and also that they are reporting them to the ombudsman/ trading standards!

I've given them two stars only because after emailing them and telling them the above I did at least get my money back and quickly!!

Ordered my item on Sept 8th with a delivery lead time of 3-5 days. I needed this item in a hurry, it didn't arrived by the expected date and I still had no notification that it had even been dispatched so I had to buy elsewhere and wanted to cancel the delivery.

They answered my emails initially but when I said I wanted to cancel the item and asked them to refund my payment there was no response.

After reading the awful reviews on here I thought I had lost my money but in this instance I was lucky!

Ordered items over three weeks ago and have been given two delivery dates and no products either time.

Shocking company and I'm surprised they're still in business.

I placed an order for a birthday…

I placed an order for a birthday present. After a month of no delivery I chased the order up and was told it would be delivered on a certain day. Needless to say it never turned up.
I chased it up again and they said they would look into it and get back to me shortly.
They never replied until I requested a refund which I am still waiting for.
Shocking service and I would not recommend.

Avoid this company

Awful experience with this company. Ordered a unit 29th July. Told several delivery dates , waited in but nothing delivered. They have no customer service whatsoever- They just ignore you. But the funny thing is I told them I was reporting them to the Consumer Ombudsman and got a refund one minute later. Avoid at all costs

Learn from my experience.

Placed a ordered for bunk beds ,received thanks for your order ,email.
Nothing about when to expect my order ,I've emailed them , but failed to reply with delivery update.
Avoid this company, they are cowboys.
It's now 17th September, I'm still waiting for my refund after I cancelled the order.
18th September recived refund to my surprise.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! If i could give them a zero star, i would. Asolutely terrible company! I was messed about for 6 weeks with Direct GB and I can confirm, there is nothing "direct" about them at all.
From placing my order - I never received any dispatch or shipping details. When I emailed them enquiring this, I was told it would be delivered the next Friday. I sat in my house the whole day and the delivery never came.
I chased this again, asking for tracking details this time, which was followed by a string of unanswered emails and no answer on their customer service line. Coincidentally their mailbox was always full, so it wasn't even possible to leave a message with customer service.
I eventually tried to reach to them via Facebook messenger, to which they replied "sorry, we will look into this" - which they didn't. Following more unanswered emails and messages, I was told I would receive a delivery date, that following day - which I didn't.
Frustrated with more unanswered emails and messages, I asked for a refund. They then choose to tell me, 3 weeks after originally ordering - that I would have to pay extra for delivery for Northern Ireland. This was irrelevant anyway, as I just wanted the refund at this stage.
I was later told, the refund was processed and it would be in my bank 3-5 working days (depending on my bank). 2 weeks went by and still no refund. After more ignored messages and emails, I was told they would chase it with their accounts team, which lead to MORE ignored messages and emails!
I ended up seeking help from citizens advice, who advised me to dispute it via my bank. With thanks to my DEPENDABLE bank that is, HSBC - they reimbursed my money within 24 hours of submitting my claims form.
I hope that this company will suffer the consequences for what they have put their customers through. We're all living in times of hardship and buying furniture is a luxury. It is not acceptable to not bother sending goods that people have spent their hard-working money on and furthermore - not to even give them the refund which they are entitled to.

SCAM!!!

How is this company allowed to trade?!?! Reporting to trading standards!

I’m in the same boat as everyone else, bought a pair of floating side tables, said they’d be delivered in 3-5 working days, it’s now been 3 week, no phone number and emails are all ignored.

Il be going to my bank for a cash back and ordering elsewhere, I certainly won’t be wasting anymore time on this thieving“company”

Lie about delivery and will not answer the phone or respond to emails. will constantly tell you they are looking into it and never get anything out to you. will keep giving you false delivery dates and not even order the products. AVOID

Avoid. Taking payment. No goods. No Customer Service

I placed an order for a garden pergola in April 2023 and promptly made the payment. Only one part of the order arrived, and the received package was damaged. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, I have not received any meaningful response from their customer service team. I also contacted Norfolk Leisure, the source of the supplied packages and the auction site used to purchase the goods, EAMA, but to no avail. Still waiting on a resolution 4 months later!

Scammers

Scammers! Avoid this company. Ordered a shed which was supposed to be deliver in 7-14 days. After 15 days, with no word at all I contacted them to find out what was going on. Someone said they would find out and get back to me but never did. This happened numerous times over the following weeks, with them either just ignoring me altogether or saying they would get back to me but never do. Phoning is a waste of time too, they never answer. You leave your details on a answer machine but surprise, surprise, they never get back to you.
I've now raised a dispute through paypal so i should get my money back eventually through them but stay away from these crooks folks.

Poor to say the least

Ordered a bedside table. After 1 week we had received no comms related to the dispatch of the order, despite delivery being confirmed at 4-6 days at the point of placing the order.
Reached out to customer services and spoke to Jodie, who initially confirmed that there was no stock and we’d need to wait for restock, which was annoying but fine. We then received a dispatch email the next day (confusing). I again reached out to customer services (Jodie) - she confirmed the confusion and said there was actually stock.
….Fast forward to receipt of goods. Quality of the solid mango wood bedside table is poor to say the least, so I initiated a return in line with their 30 day policy. After some resistance from Jodie (again), she/he advised that the supplier would need confirm acceptance of the return request. Despite daily chasing, Jodie or anyone at customer services has failed to get back to me.
I’m now going to need to go through the hassle of a charge back on my credit card.
GB direct is not a reputable seller, and is quite simply a ‘middle man’ with zero integrity. Avoid at all costs.
