Ordered bat and received next day!

I ordered a junior bat from the Discount Cricket Outlet. I received an error message on their website after checking out and eventually spoke to someone who confirmed the order had gone through. I chased and chased for shipping details but got no response from their on line chat forum and no email confirming shipment. When the bat arrived, the grip had dried out and was crumbling off the bat. I was offered a 10% discount and a new grip which I turned down. I will return bat and not use this company again. I

After ordering a bat from discount cricket I came to look at reviews on the company , from the bad reviews I started to worry and instantly regretted buying from them as people said nothing was delivered etc. I have to say that my package arrived in 2 days and is excellent . Tracking on the website is not very good but dhl sent though a tracking number 2 days after .

Lotsa bad publicity re this company but I have received goods well packaged to Sweden in 2 weeks. They took a while and a couple mails to give delivery date but then all was good . Bat was out of stock but they fixed an alternative that was acceptable to me and gave me knockin and side taping free so got little more value for money. Everything else was fine. Courier very fast once sent. Richard

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Ordered some keeping gloves and batting gloves. Batting gloves were then not in stock, fine. Waited 15 days for my keeping gloves, still not arrived, despite a phonecall after 7 days where I was told they'd be shipped that day. Got on the online chat to try and resolve it, only to be cut off after being left on read for 15 minutes. Waste of time and money. Disgraceful company and disgusting service.

On the same day I ordered cricket equipment from Discount Cricket Outlet, Allrounder Cricket (not knowing they are part of the same organisation), Cricket Direct and Sports Direct. I received all of my goods apart from the £283 worth of stuff I ordered from Discount Cricket Outlet. I started investigating Discount Cricket Outlet and discovered their business telephone number and address is the same as Allrounder Cricket. I used their online mail system to contact them. I sent messages to their e-mail address. I called them and could not get through so I changed tack. I called their store in Leeds where I spoke to a nice girl called Lacy. She confirmed they had received my order and said she would contact their warehouse and put a rush on the order for it to be delivered on Tuesday. On Wednesday, when the goods still had not arrived and I had received no communication from them, I decided to drive to Leeds to go get my items.

I was fuming. I was now aware of the terrible feedback DCO had received on Trust Pilot. It was my intention to take items worth £483 to award myself £200 compensation for this crooked organisation wasting my time with this 7 hour round trip. I got to Sheffield and remembered they had a store there too. Collecting the items from Sheffield would save me an hour and a half driving so I went there instead. I got the store manager to help me collect all the items I had ordered online. They didn't have the exact items I had ordered and the new bill was £41 more than I had paid online. I should have given the manager my online receipt and walked out of the shop with the goods but he was so apologetic, and handled the situation so well, I paid the extra £41.

Bottom line: I will never order from Discount Cricket Outlet again. It seems Allrounder Cricket is the legitimate part of the business and DCO is a scam to steal money from customers. I have come to this conclusion based on the fact that I received my goods from Allrounder cricket within a week no problem but got messed around by DCO: yet all orders from the two websites are recorded on the same system; I witnessed the store manager pull up my DCO order on his Allrounder Cricket System. Why is this business fulfilling orders from one website but not the other??? Read the other comments: some people have been waiting over 6 months for items ordered on DCO. 6 effing months! Imagine all the orders coming in from around the world and Britain that they are ignoring and keeping the money. Sacks of s**t.

I have just read the reviews for Allrounder Cricket Ltd and they are as shocking as those for Discount Cricket Outlet. It appears the entire business is a scam. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!

THE worst place to order anything. Order my shoes as the website said they deliver next day and my order arrived a week after I ordered. When I called them, there was no one out there to attend the call. When I tried chatting online, they didn’t answer my query and disappeared. Please do not order from this site.

On 28 March, I ordered a cricket ball catching net, costing £41.74 with the offered discount, for my grandson's ninth birthday. On 7 April, two days before his birthday, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled. During a subsequent online chat, I was told the item was out of stock, but it was still listed as 'In stock' online (and still is, four days later).. at a greatly inflated price (£58.50 with discount)!! I suspect my order was cancelled because Discount Cricket Outlet saw the opportunity to cash in on the pandemic lockdown. I call that immoral!😡

absolutely DISGUSTING SERVICE - PAID FOR ITEMS THAT DONT COME! AND THEY BLAME SAGEPAY WHO IS THE PAYMENT GATEWAY PEOPLE. How do u people do business I dont have a clue!!

I really hesitate to give this company a star at all. How this co survives I do not know. Before Christmas we ordered a Cricket Bag we did get an acknowledgement of order but then waited for delivery and no delivery tried to e.mail and to ring to check on delivery of goods but no reply from the e.mail or phone left a message on the phone to call us back but nothing. We then decided to cancel the order as we were worried that it wasn't going to come in time for Christmas again no acknowledgement so we ordered from a different co and received the bag we wanted. But then Christmas Eve received the original bag but we didn't want it. We again tried to contact this co Discount Cricket Outlet to advice we wanted to send it back as they advised customers to contact them on their returns policy but alas no answer from either phone or e.mail......We still have this bag as we were not going to return it until we had some sort of contact from the co as we had already paid for it.......DO NOT USE THIS CO IF YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF There are plenty of other companies that you can use for the same products.....

Do not use this website. Goods are faulty and they do not answer phone or emails. Still trying to get refund.

Awful. Sold me faulty goods, i suspect they are actually fake. Couldn't get through via email or phone for weeks. Then told they had to speak to manufacturer as it's nothing to do with them (false and against the law - they are the retailer). Had to threaten legal action until agreed o refund. Still awaiting refund. Avoid like the plague.

Excellent service, choice and value

Ordered Christmas presents on the 16th Dec, on the basis that the items were in stock and next day delivery. Haven’t heard anything since. Telephone goes to a message that says the it’s full, Online chat starts with an automated ‘how can I help you?’ and the nothing in response. No response to email either. Ordered elsewhere and asked them to cancel, but who knows what will happen. Will not order again without checking trust pilot!!

i have just had to chase an order placed last week and needed as a Christmas present. Mo was brilliant in sorting out my problem and has confirmed my order will be in tonights post. Thank you Mo

The email communication wasn't great - although saying item had been sent had no courier details or tracking. Then couldn't get hold of the company on any email or telephone number. I resorted to facebook using its umbrella company All Round Cricket facebook page to message. This worked! Within seconds I had made contact and was asked for the order number, they then telephoned me straight away and apologised for any issues and checked the tracking was with My Hermes and gave me the tracking number etc Item due today.
Mo was the customer services guy who called me and was excellent. So it would have been 1 star but he made it 4 stars!

Please,do not spend any of your hard earned money at this excuse for an online shop.They will happily take your money and send an email with an order number etc confirming everything is in stock,even with next day delivery.whether you get what you ordered is another matter.They don’t reply to emails or answer calls.Just spend a few pounds more and get the products from a reputable company.

Ordered from this company on the 6th of December and haven't received anything except a confirmation email of my order on the day I ordered. I noticed that this shows as All Rounder Cricket Ltd t/a Discount Cricket Outlet. I tried to email them and ring them, both with no response. All Rounder Cricket have a shop opposite Headingley Stadium and as I live in Leeds I decided to go in, Young lad in attendance who looked embarrassed and said he can't get through to head office either. He asked me to leave my contact details but I told him I wasn't going anywhere until I had some answers. He managed to get through to someone straight away and found the items I'd ordered in the shop so I was able to take them away with me. I asked him what was going on and he said they'd had so many more orders on Black Friday than they could deal with and that many of them were being returned. It sounds like they just can't handle the amount of business they're getting at the moment. I told the young lad that it's disgusting that they're taking people's money and leaving them high and dry for Christmas, but at the end of the day, it's not his company. Companies shouldn't be allowed to treat customers in this way.

Shocking. Ordered over 20 days ago and nothing has arrived. No reply to emails or calls. Absolutely shocking. How can this be allowed. I have one very disappointed boy,
