Absolutely shocking approached by a really friendly guy in the street and said maybe next time you’re here you can come and stay at our hotel. It’s only a three star thought things were a little fishy when he said we could have €25 and a free Malta bag, but thought only an hour why not? Remind me of timeshare in the good old crap days. When we got there We were approached by this nice lady her name was Nanette Who was very nice but was an out and out sales person trying to befriend us and make a relationship with her. We were there an hour and a half and I kept questioning certain points about their sales technique and their product which they could not answer then this rather large Scottish guy named Hugh who I’m sure had some kind of speech impediment after some more questioning said we don’t want customers like you you’re not welcome go away. However, before this I did ask Nanette some probing questions be she asked him for help at which point he said to her that she knew what she was doing and walked off. In my opinion threw her right under a bus that is not good management or leadership style in fact that is appalling and that instantly caused instant dislike Their company name is Discovery Access and I believe in there are several articles and warnings online. They have been known to use other names. Anyone in Malta beware do not go scam artist total load of rubbish don’t know what they’re selling in fact they’re not selling anything of any use or value to any of you and it will just cost you £1200 for two years which I’m doubtless whether you get anything for that or how much was or 10,000 for 10 years which I think is a big pile of crap. You have to go to spend that kind of money on the holidays that they were offering. We questioned them about all inclusive and basically purely getting a room for their supposed cheap cost they say they arrange flights. I think they do not just beware and if anybody mentions the name you just say fine we’re going because HUGH is absolutely the most vile man I’ve ever met in my life. They won’t let out a link into other articles but just go to digital spy forums and discovery access and you will find way more than I put on. Hope this helps you all be safe and don’t get scammed buds idiotic scammers.

Was pulled off the street in Malta to ‘view a new hotel’. The Mayflower Hotel in Malta just to be clear. Tout told us that we had to be over 35 which my partner wasn’t so were told to to lie and say he was. Had to view the hotel for no longer than an hour and we would receive a ‘free gift’. 3 hours later and find out it’s a ‘timeshare’ scam. When we said no, and I said I felt I was being pressured, they said not at all. Yeah ok 🙄. We were then offered a 2 year deal to try it and felt that their attitude changed when we still said no. Felt like we were being taken to our death in the basement when we had to be signed out like school children. Would have been better just walking out and dealing with the aggression. We were followed out to the toilet/for a cigarette break so we couldn’t disappear. They are high-pressure sales.I work in finance and know that it’s not cost affective but felt like we had to act dumb in arose to get out the door. Saw someone else getting scammed today and wish I’d warned them but appreciate these people need to make a living

We have been members of Access2Leisure for a number of years and during that time we have enjoyed some wonderful holidays in Malta, Lanzarote, Portugal, the UK and, more recently Spain.
We have visited Macdonalds Dona Lola, near Malaga for the last two years. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we booked up again as soon as we could!
The resort is, in our opinion, the type of resort that we feel A2L should be offering. We have had two very relaxing holidays there in 2023 and 2024. The resort itself offers plenty to do with indoor and outdoor pools, excellent restaurants on site and the Entertainments Team offer a range of activities from wine tasting to walks around the beautiful grounds, as well as trips out. Fuengirola and Marbella are both easy to access using the local buses and Malaga is within reach by bus and train. Definitely one to recommend and I am sure we will return there again.
A2L staff are friendly, helpful and respectful when providing information and advice during the booking process.
The recent upgrade to A2L's website has resulted in a more user friendly facility, making searching for resorts much easier and faster.
As it's extremely cold now in the UK, we are definitely beginning to think of our holiday in 2025!

Recently spent two amazing weeks in Malta booked through Discover Access. From booking to arrival the experience was easy, professional and supported. The accommodation at The Mayflower Hotel Qawara and Sunny Coast Qawara was excellent. Both were as advertised and excellent value for money. Comfortable, friendly and spotless. Staff in both places could not do enough. Both destinations highly recommended.

Great venue & hotel, on the side of a steep hill but there is a minibus that takes you up and down to the security hut at the top of the hill, it runs about every 15 minutes or on call! (At no cost)
I honestly do not recommend this resort for dissabled people due to the gradients involved even in the local town which is fantastic but very steep and hilly! although there is a lift at the resort down to the pool and bar areas!

Do not trust these con artists. They dragged me off a street in Qwara in Malta under the pretence of viewing a new hotel, doing a short survey and in return I’d get free bus tour tickets!! Well it was 4 hours of my life I’ll never get back. The hotel was called The Mayflower Hotel which was just awful and I’d never stay in such an awful hotel anyway!! A small English woman called Nanette spoke to me for hours about how amazing they were and promised the world and more. Then a big fat man from Scotland called Hugh with a wonky eye that he told me all about for about 10 mins came over. He will put the pressure on you right away with the facts and figures and then tells you the sky high prices to join this ridiculous group. I said no on 5 occasions as I wasn’t interested but he just wasn’t having it. He wouldn’t take no for an answer. He actually got quite rude and intimidating. I was in a basement level office that could only be accessed by key card and no phone signal. So I literally felt trapped. I signed the papers under duress just so I could get away from them. I didn’t give them any of my financial details and all my personal details were made up too. I was followed and watched by the woman Nanette the whole time as if she was stopping me from leaving. It was a terrible experience and has actually really put me off ever coming back to Malta!!! AGAIN, I MUST STRESS STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT NICE, THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND, THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU AND THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS!!! THE ONLY SATISFACTION I WILL GET FROM THIS IS KNOWING THAT ALL THE DETAILS I I GAVE THEM WERE ALL FALSE. I HAVE WRITTEN THIS PART IN CAPITALS TO EMPHASISE MY POINT. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Scammers. Based in Mayflower Hotel, Qawara region in Malta.
They entice you into the Mayflower Hotel under false pretences, then take you to a sub level with coded access doors and you are literally held prisoner until you sign up to their scam contracts. 100% avoid. They held my wife and I three hours. We were literally prisoners. I’m lodging complaints with the Maltese authorities and UK trading standards over this.
Thankfully we passed on no financial details and gave false date of birth, addresses and furnished them with no ID. Literally binning their crap once I’ve lodged a complaint with the Maltese tourist office.
Please do not accept offers for free tickets to view ‘newly opened hotels’. It’s all scammers!
Holiday scam - falsely encouraged into the Mayflower Hotel in Malta for a chat about their hotel for an hour to get free bus passes to the city...nope 3 hours later and £1500 lighter we eventually made our escape by agreeing to their time share plan (by the way the doors were all coded so you couldn't even just walk out!) avoid at all costs, it ruined my holiday as we can't get out of the contract.

It us good to get a company you can trust. I let Access2leisure make the arrangements for my weeks holiday all but the flight which I'm sure they could of arranged. The taxi was at the airport to meet me the hotel was aware of my requirements. I have stayed at both hotels now Malta and Lanzarotte and both are comfortable clean and are extremely helpful and polite. Thank you Access2leisure.

We were advised by our father and mother in law to stay at the Mayflower Malta. We used his membership for the stay and we cannot recommend them enough. They informed us the hotel was beautiful and it certainly was. Clean, beautiful views, friendly staff and amazing location. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Alex and Fiona xx

I currently live in malta and my parents come to visit me regularly, they have been members with discover access for several years now. They always come for a week to 10 days around this time of year (june), as I live quite far away from buggiba I always try book close by to there hotel (mayflower). However when booking around this time of year I find it extremely expensive, especially compared to what my parents are paying. I was quoted between £900 to £1500 for the same week in worse hotels whilst the paid £299. In this case I would recommend going with discovery access, simply because my parents never have any hassle and most importantly the cost they are saving. I will go with discover access myself moving forward as it makes so much more sense. Keep up the great work guys and couldn't recommend you enough.
Thanks!
