Hassle free at a great cost!

I currently live in malta and my parents come to visit me regularly, they have been members with discover access for several years now. They always come for a week to 10 days around this time of year (june), as I live quite far away from buggiba I always try book close by to there hotel (mayflower). However when booking around this time of year I find it extremely expensive, especially compared to what my parents are paying. I was quoted between £900 to £1500 for the same week in worse hotels whilst the paid £299. In this case I would recommend going with discovery access, simply because my parents never have any hassle and most importantly the cost they are saving. I will go with discover access myself moving forward as it makes so much more sense. Keep up the great work guys and couldn't recommend you enough.

We’ve been members of a2l for 17 years and have enjoyed every holiday we’ve had over the years. Mainly travelled to Malta and Lanzarote but have also exchanged to Spain and Portugal. Booking process is simple and every member of staff we’ve met in resort have been informative and friendly. For our most recent trip to Malta we stayed in The Mayflower Hotel in Bugibba. First time in this Hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Mayflower is modern and clean with great staff. The 10th floor rooftop pool is an added attraction. The Hotel is also 5 minutes walk from the Bus Station from where you can travel all over the island. Our contract with a2l is coming to an end and old age and mobility issues mean we will not be renewing it however we have no regrets re our experience with the company over the years.

SCAM IN BUJJIBA MALTA MAYFLOWER HOTEL.

People dotted about the area , pretending to promote a hotel. We went in as undercover , so went through the whole process to put on tv documentry in uk so people cant fall for it . We made sure we had the whole presentation on video , so you can hear how they change story and answer questions you have next day. We have the names and these will be disclosed on tv news documentry . They get you to sign a ten year holiday contract costing 8000 and want a deposit for 2000. They set up monthly payments of 10 years but then give a 1 year extra free. But its not free cause they take another years payments for that extra 1 year which is non cancellation so if you cancel 10 year they still make money out of you. Say uk company but based in gibralta and trading as different names with same people running it. When you ask questions they just throw extra freebies at you , wine, bus tickets, breakfast, extra year again etc etc. Please avoid until the tv show airs in uk then we can get this stopped. Simple anybody stops you say NO.

Exceptional service!

I don't usually post a review until after the holiday but I was looking for a short notice holiday and the booking process at Discover Access, Malta was exceptional!
The staff Elle, Pauline Caruna and Saskia Ward were pleasant, prompt in their responses, efficient and professional while sympathetically assisting me find a holiday which suits my mobility difficulties.
Sincere thanks to Pauline and Saskia who went over and above my expectations, we can't wait for our holiday!

Tenerife

After receiving email from discover access for last minute deals just booked an apartment with them at Hollywood mirage Tenerife for spring Bank for me and 3 mates total cost £299 for all of us for a week. Checked on booking.com more than double for only 2 people thanks again discover access

8weeks…vacation in malta

We stayed at the Mayflower for 8weeks in jan/Feb.
From checking in we were treated with the upmost respect by all staff from manager to the cleaners, The cost of our stay €99 per week worth every penny. The breakfast €49 per week was really good there was something for everyone from cereal to a full cooked breakfast.
The hotel as also started to do a evening menu that was good if you didn't want to go out again and could have your meal delivered to your room if you wished, we used this service quite often.
We thank all the staff for our wonderful experience would not hesitate to return again as malta is a wonderful place and hotel perfect. Don’t hesitate to visit this hotel worthy of 5 star rating

Excellent Customer Service

My experience of being a member for over 20 years, is the most amazing professionalism from the staff, namely Alexia Pisani Birmingham, whose exceptional service truly enhanced my experience. From the moment I was a member Alexia's professionalism and kindness were immediately evident.

What truly stood out to me was Alexia's genuine kindness and willingness to assist with any request. Her warm demeanor and attentive nature made me feel welcomed and valued as a member. It's rare to encounter someone who is not only highly competent in their role, but also genuinely cares about the well-being of others.

Had a wonderful time with Dave

Had a wonderful time with Dave , had a great chat about life . Had a wonderful tour of the mayflower in Malta . Dave said he wouldn’t lie about the time share he was trying to sell us . What Dave didn’t lie about was the free gifts for sitting through the presentation and the free coffee which was quite tasty . We really enjoyed our bus tour it was a great end to our holiday thanks Dave much appreciated. It’s worth sitting through the presentation even if at times I was thinking about what I was going to have for dinner instead of listening whoops . The mayflower is a nice hotel and I would consider staying there as the roof pool and view are amazing not sure if you could book this through discovery access as the website might not be available but you could try love holidays no annual fee required. Was a shame Shaun was too busy to speak to us as we may of liked what he said but he didn’t want to come and talk to us so we left with our bus tickets in hand . Cheers guys it was great 👍 ps : take this review as you wish in the light hearted banter that is intended however be careful before you sign anything or agree to anything this is a time share no matter how they try and sugar coat it. Wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s a scam because you are responsible for your decisions and actions so if you sign then that’s on you .

It's important to note that we don't employ pressure sales tactics, and in consideration of your time, he authorised the issuance of your promised gifts to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Regarding your comment about our membership and booking services, we want to clarify that we don't have an annual fee, and our members have access to book at the Mayflower Hotel and numerous other resorts worldwide. While our website is operational, we provide personalized reservation services tailored to our members' needs.

We understand that as a non-member, you may not be aware of these additional benefits, but we're grateful for your positive feedback and good-humoured approach.

If I could put a minus rating I would!

If I could put a minus rating I would. This is clearly a scam and they are preying on vulnerable people using pressurised sales tactics to get people to sign up. Once signed up you are unable to get any holidays and they have plenty of excuses such as “no availability”, their “website is down” and their “staff are on holiday so have a back log”… you end getting nowhere. I wanted to add this review to stop others from making the same mistake I did. Has anybody had success in getting their money back? I will be seeking legal advice.

Mayflower hotel, Qawra

Though well situated for the bus station and a few restaurants, this area isn't pretty. The hotel only offers breakfast, no evening meal. There is an outdoor pool on the roof, but no indoor pool. The bar had VERY limited stock. No vodka, no Prosecco, no cocktails. We were there over Christmas, so this was particularly disappointing.

mayflower hotel scammers central

We where taken to the mayflower hotel in st.pauls bay under the false pretence of free bus tickets by a "English local man" where we met a group of Scottish hard sell holiday club sales people!
Total scammers want £8200 for 10 years membership. They want you to pay £2000 deposit there and then as they tell you that they can only speak to you once under Maltese law. We where grilled for 2 hours before I told them and all there other victims that they are all a bunch of scammers at that point they started to get angry 😡. I hope that they did not con any other victims in there dungeon office.

Gutted!

We been a member for 5 years apparently one payment was missed and they took it to debt collectors!!! No email or nothing.... i tried emailing. No response, can't phone as the number will cost me a fortune. I'm absolutely gutted this has happened as we loved our last holiday with these. I am now in a panic as I've never had this before
