Pueblo Evita Club - good location but only suitable for fit people.

Good location, attractive resort. Not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility, very steep for walking and a lot of steps. Good apartment with excellent wi-fi and it's own router but not in a good position with noisy workshops at the back. On-site bar was ok but restaurant hardly open at this time of year. Good supermarket across the road and coffee bars and restaurants within a short walk, also bus stops nearby.

No pressure experience …

We were asked to go to the mayflower hotel -Malta for a presentation regarding holiday. Not time share more a yearly holiday club with holidays all over the world-Tony was was our rep and he was good no pressure sales tactics explained everything answers our questions. Showed is around the hotel the hotel is beautiful and all the facilities you would need on holiday his manager came over to chat but at this time we could not commit. But we wish them all the luck

Great week spent at Las Calas…

Great week spent at Las Calas apartments...lovely resort, staff at reception very welcoming and helpful, they have the 361 restaurant on site with great choice of menu from cereal to full Breakfast, snacks at lunchtime and the evening meals in the restaurant are 1st class, also the staff were always smiling and cheerful even though they were short staffed nothing was ever a problem..there is also a separate bar area with entertainment at night..The resort is on a hill so okay going down hill but we got a taxi back a few times as they are really cheap anyway at around 3 to 4 euros and that was for 4 of us in the taxi...I was over with my sister & a couple of friends who also loved it...hoping to return in June with my husband so he can see what I've been raving about for himself...

Stayed at the Mayflower hotel Bugibba

Stayed at the Mayflower hotel Bugibba, lovely place,quiet area but close to restaurants. Ideally placed for seeing the island as bus station is a 3 minute walk with good selection of destinations. Good housekeeping great selection at breakfast and also evening meal.

To whom who holiday in Malta please be aware of discover access it's supposed to be a club to book holidays the way they work is you pick hotel like I did and all it's showing is December for dates that's what's on offer if you want to go to mayflower in Malta you could be ok any were else forget it

Good complex great staff

The complex is a very pleasant and the reception area is welcoming and staff very pleasant, just like club Riza.It seems the clientele stay on the complex as it has all the things you need two outside pools,plus one heated inside pool and tennis courts. Restaurant's on site where very good. We found it a bit out off the way for us 75/80 as we can't walk to far, the complex is ideal for younger family's as they can walk to the bus stop .

Great week

Wendy from housekeeping took the time to show us other properties we might like another time.
The restaurant and bar were both comfortable. The massage was excellent.
It’s in a great situation for cycling trips.

We were approached by a man called Tony…

We were approached by a man called Tony at a bus station in St Paul's Bay today. We agreed to a one hour chat with a company in the Mayflower Hotel about their services and would receive a gift of 4 x 12 days bus tickets. We were introduced to Alex, who was very professional throughout the 2.5 hour presentation we had with him and our friends. Although the holiday club was not for us we did receive our gifts at the end. Personally I did feel that there was constant pressure to sign up, particularly by the man who gave us the final joining up incentives at the end. We didn't sign up as it wasn't for us, but we're determined characters. I can see that more easily persuaded people would give in to the sales pressure.

Brilliant winter break

This was just what my son and myself needed after both of us being ill over the Christmas break. After a stressful trip to stanstead Airport and leaving my phone in the car with all the confirmation docs on it I couldn't ask for any better help from the reception staff at this resort they were brilliant. The resort itself was clean and adequate. The apartment was around the swimming pool with the bar a few yards away and a very good restaurant on site which was around
the corner . The site was up a.very steep hill which done me the world.of good. Will definitely be returning to this resort perhaps for a little longer next time as a week here was a little short. Thank you Las Calas and club Access2leisure

Lanzarote in style but affordable

There were issues with the website link for browsing destinations, but the staff in Malta were very helpful via some phone calls and emails. The week we chose at Club Las Calas in Lanzarote turned out to be a great find, we really enjoyed the week. The location is central although up a steep hill, so some good exercise was provided without the need to use the gym…
Anyhow, the apartment was clean and well laid out with downstairs sleeping (there’s no aircon, but it was never uncomfortable) and a great lounge, kitchen and balcony upstairs. Excellent view to sea, overlooking one of the pools. Also, the onsite restaurant was absolutely top notch. We intended to cook most days, but with food like that available we never turned the cooker on once! We intend to return later in the year, it’s a wonderful way to pass a stress free week or 2.

Have a look for yourselves. MAYFLOWER HOTEL

We were given a presentation at the mayflower Hotel malta
The presentation was about membership to a holiday discount club offering really good discounts on holidays around the world at a time and location of your choosing as many times as you like
We had refreshments and Alex our presenter was very clear on all details
He was friendly and not at all pushy
He explained things well and answered all of our questions with a short tour of this new build Hotel showing us the rooms and wonderful views from the roof top where there is an infinity pool
There is no pressure to sign up at all
Would suit some people very well and save thousands
But not for others
All in all a pleasant experience

We’ve had a great experience so far

We’ve had a great experience so far. Our welcome week at The Mayflower Hotel was organised efficiently by Pauline. The hotel was superb. My husband was waiting for a hip replacement and the facilities, including a walk in shower were perfect for us. Clean rooms, tasty breakfast and staff that will help you with bus times and trips. Nothing was too much trouble. Ron’s taxis was also the best airport transfer that I have ever experienced. I’ve had some terrible transfers in the past but this was so well organised that I will be using Ron again next time I visit.
We’ve booked a winter warmer back at the Mayflower and Yolana was great. She phoned us back after I emailed her and was friendly and professional.And so we’ve got a week away at this lovely hotel to look forward to. If you visit then use the discounts at the local restaurant. We particularly liked the Sports bar.
