I have been trying to cancel my DISH service for over 6 weeks now. Every time I call, they refuse to cancel it and just want to talk about services and push for things. I just got off the phone with Vin, and he was such an unpleasant person to talk to. Rude, raising his voice, talking over me. Dish employees must be trained to be as pushy and unhelpful as possible. What an awful company. I really hope it is finally cancelled, but somehow I think I'll still be having another call with them.

Dish has a "distant networks department" (DND) for those of us living in a semi, recreational vehicle, and other mobile sources. Every time the vehicle registration comes due, the mobile unit must reapply to the DND for service. We reapply every time in total compliance, and yet Regardless of compliance, the DND cancels the DISTANT NETWORKS EVERYTIME, knowing they have all the necessary documents on the screen in front of them. this causes much consternation and distress as we have to fight like hell to get the distant network channels back on. This dept is totally incompetent, they are revengeful and vindictive to the dish customers. EVERYONE in the DND MUST be fired and all new personnel put in place. A vengeful, vindictive, hateful group of people must be excised from the company. This has been normal operations for over 8 years. Again, Regardless of compliance, the channels are canceled and we must fight like hell to get them back. And it causes 5 days loss of viewing these channels.

Dish is a horrible company! They have horrible service and when you have to call about it, they have even worse customer service! Their employees are clearly not trained well, and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. I recommend recording all calls with dish because they will lie.

If I could give a rating of -10 I would because is the worst cable service I have had in my lifetime. Living in Florida now, I wanted to be able to see my favorite NFL team(s) as I the Bears, and more interested in Big Ten games vs SEC, nor am I a Dolphins or Buccaneers fan, and as well Midwest baseball teams, for that matter every time I've gone to game finder the game I want is unavailable or blacked out.
I could go on about how the service sporadically loses signal.....the Wally Boxes work like s____t, and customer service is not too helpful on any of this.

My local channels are all distorted and I can’t watch them, sad I pay to watch and local channels are included in my subscription, but the picture is scrambled like there is a severe weather storm and a poor signal it was like that for two months they fixed the problem now it started all over again

This is by far the absolute worst service provider I have ever had. I just cancelled their service because we are moving and our community doesn’t allow satellite dishes. They were aggressive, argumentative and told me that it was my responsibility to take down part of the actual dish and send it to them along with my rented hopper at my own cost. They send you a very pricey box to return these things in. My contract does not state that and I argued that I would not do so because of it. The tv lineup is horrible, the actual performance was awful and I have never been so glad to get rid of a company in my life. Paying $170.00 to cancel Dish network is money well spent. I do not recommend this company or their horrible service (of all types). CONSUMER BEWARE: Do NOT sign a contract with Dish Network.

Use to love my dish and their customer service was great! But holy Wha! Who can afford these prices anymore? Sorry Dish, I'm out! I'm done with the increases because of greedy networks. Back when I first had dish it was 36 dollars a month. I bought home about $380 a week. Now $156 for a comparable package and bring home just about $790. Your prices have quadrupled in the same time my wages have barely doubled. Obviously just another piece of corporate America trying to see how they can rob the little guy.

Dish customer service is the worst I have met. I spoke to 10 different representative and all they do is say, "let me connect you to the right department." I have been speaking with 10 different people for almost 1 hour. Waiting time was long and the customer service do not know how to address the problems so they just connected me and pass me around. Well the pipe that holds the satellite dish rusted of at the ground. Called dish, the guy said cant get out here for 5 days! What kind of BS is this? And we pay extra for insurance to cover problems! Entertainment package! Every time it rains you can't watch TV a suggest you go to your DVR it's just not good! Bad decision on my part, I don't think I'm even going to honor my contract with them because they don't provide a good product! Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. They route your calls to the Phillipines. I had a service call scheduled between 8am-12pm today, and they still haven't showed up. I'm beyond fed up with the lack of professionalism, off-shoring customer service, and the satellite service that goes out with minor rain showers.
