Underwhelming! Not sure what the fuss is about. I can name 3 local curry houses who do better dishes. The only saving grace was our lovely server, Adam

The best
What can I say... The most amazing food and service, a difficult time for me due to my boy being in Birmingham children's hospital, China spoke with me and was so kind and genuinely interested in my situation, it's restored my faith in humanity. I cannot recommend enough. The small things make all the difference. Thank you Dishoom
Great experience
Great experience. Went with my partner, food was great and portion sizes are good. Will be back!!!!
A little expensive
Came 1st time with my 2 daughters as a birthday treat …cannot fault the food at all as everything we had was amazing ,on the expensive side to be honest and please get rid of the horrendous service charge ,don’t forget we’ve just come out of covid and everyone is trying to survive on what they can
Great food…..
Great food, brilliant customer service, wonderful ambience, not the cheapest, but another fantastic experience again this year at Dishoom!
I'm a food critic
I'm a food critic, but in this night we were celebrating and I read a lot of good reviews about this place, the hype, I came previously to a different area but couldn't cue up with my disabled mum, I booked our table so there would be no waiting I told the booking team my mind disabled so need somewhere comfortable, I got there within the 15 minutes of the bookng time, and they had already canceled our table I was there on time but had to help my mum, anyway we waited an hour for a tabled, it was extremely noisy seems people are pretty drunk early on a Friday and talk and shout pretty loud, anyway we got our table after what seemed like forever, got a nice seat outside, seating was comfortable, now the food, seek kebabs was bland the, chuknys were very little popdoms were tight and oily, now for the main prawn dish had no flavour, no spice at all I asked for the prawn dish to be extra spicy there was no flavour let a lone spicy or hot, the ruby curry was also very very bland no flavour at all chicken was not marinated in the ruby and curry had 0 flavourr, the dhail was like a bowl of brown 😫 the chicken byiani was so bland they used red currents instead of black currents or raisen, no chashew nuts and no spices, not even cardamom, it was so bland I would have been better of ordering plain basmati rice, I go to indian, Bangladeshy north indian south indian, up down left right and this place is the most expensive I have been to and yet the worse I have been to, desert I had chocolate brownie with chilie ice cream, was melted ice cream brownie had way to much salt, my mums rice pudding dish with it's fancy name, was as cold as ice, I asked if it's hot and the guy said yes and it wasn't hot at all, called him to ask if her can heatit up he said no it's the way it comes, but you said it was hot, I meant only the top for glaxibg, mmmm you didn't say that ok, mmm didn't say much but I did let them know I have eatern a lot better quality from other places who probably have a lot less revenue, we were all extremely let down and I feels it's all my fault as I been wanting to try this place and thought everyone would like it, everyone hated it, it's a joke, people really must not know what indian food should taste like.
One of the best breakfasts in London.
One of the best breakfasts in London.
Dishoom Kings Cross, has a great location, excellent food, The Wrestlers Naan being a personal favourite, and the friendliest and most attentive staff. Love “coming home” to London at weekends which starts at Dishoom. Special mentions to Daniel, Alexia and Carly. Anyone want to know how to run a successful business, rock up here, watch and learn
The Hidden Gem! Great Food and Great Service!
This place is wonderful for its excellent food and excellent service. The prices were comparable for the centre of Manchester but not over the top. I am a cost-conscious consumer, so I am always interested in food quality compared with the cost and service. Frankie was our server; she explained everything clearly and made suggestions based on our questions. She was so welcoming and happy to help us. The food was amazing!!!! We will definitely be back. I would call it a hidden gem. If you like Indian food, you will not be disappointed.

Exceptional food, great customer service, attentive wait staff and good vibes as you wait to be seated, bar staff knowledgeable and friendly.
Excellent vegetarian and vegan menu, lots of choices.
I’d note it’s typically an extremely popular and busy venue across the board, If visiting during prime dining time.
Correct and confirmed bookings are essential as they run a tight ship, this said I’ve never been rushed out and have always be able to enjoy the bustling atmosphere as long as myself or party would like.
Ordered food from Deliveroo
Ordered food from Deliveroo - portion size was tiny. Food was dry and salty. The sauce tubs sent were not even half full. Very disappointing since the restaraunt is so good when you eat in.
Yes it’s hip but good food
Yes it’s hip, but the food is really good.
Our favourite is Kingly Court, good buzz during the day and night.
Dishoom Shoreditch is excellent!
Visited the Shoreditch Dishoom last week. Delicious food. Proper curry experience. I ordered the Pau Bhaji, and my wife had the Ruby Murray. Quick service, polite staff, and all their restaurants have a similar theme, really well decorated, creating just the right ambiance. Just a little pricey, but this is London dining for you !
good food location decent nice people
Had lunch at Dishoom Manchester today…
Had lunch at Dishoom Manchester today with my wife & son. First visit since before lockdown and the food & service remains of the highest quality. I still rate this restaurant as one of the best I've eaten in over my 76 years. And yes, Ive enjoyed Indian & Persian food throughout India, Iran & other parts of the world.

Fantastic chain restaurant
Fantastic food, amazing service.
Can't speak more highly of this company, especially the customer support team. Go and visit one of the restaurants for a great experience.

Great service (Manchester branch)
Great service (Manchester branch), and some of the food was lovely, but I didn't go a bundle on the biryani. Annoying that you can't book a table in the evenings too.
