Took my 4 year old Grandson.to Wembley Arena on Saturday. He enjoyed it but I would say that it’s more suited to little girls. Beauty and the Beast, Moana, Cinderella, Frozen. Rapunzel. It would have... See more

Totally ruined by insane prices

The kids loved the show, but the greed of the company running it was shameful. Cheap plastic flashing toys were £34, and a little bucket of popcorn was £16. Kids were devastated as we had to say no, we can't afford to spend over £100 on that stuff. We ended up arguing about it as it ruined the whole experience. Genuinely disgusting and disappointed. Shame on you Disney.

Set the bar too high they couldn’t reach it

Honestly, I was really disappointed this year. We’ve come every year for the past 4/5 years and this year was the worst. Last year was incredible and it almost feels asif maybe they spent all their budget on last year that they had nothing for this year. Then sections of stories were too long for my Children and it feels like it didn’t really cater for the boys. No CARS, no toy story nothing. I just think they set the bar so high last year they couldn’t reach it this time round. That’s not even to mention the cost of things.. £34 for a toy and £14 for popcorn really? I understand making a profit but this is using children as exploitation knowing full well they’re going to want it. . Really dissapointed.

Flat and lacking Disney magic compared to 2024

Although we enjoyed the show this year I felt it was really flat compared to 2024. There was no crowd interaction like last year and each segment of story was too long for our younger children. I also feel it focussed too much on the princesses and slow songs which my two boys are just not that interested in they soon lost interest. There was also no big opening or ending like last year.

It was also disappointing to see how much it was to buy things, bubble wands £34 each and popcorn £14!!! Really unfair on parents to have to say no to their children because the prices are so high!

We went to the 2023 Disney on Ice and enjoyed it. However, this show was honestly not even comparable - cheap costumes and long confusing story telling of simple stories... I took my 3 kids, 1 fell asleep, the other two were restless, bored and seemed happy to leave - an expensive 2 hours for nothing memorable. Don't waste your money.

What happened?

What happened?? 2023 and 2024 were brilliant but yesterday's show lacked story, the dancers were all out of time and looked super bored. Very short show without the usual magic or getting the audience involved. It really was night and day compared to other years. Hopefully the show will be much better next year!

Temu on Ice

Temu on Ice would have been a more suitable show title for the discount performance l witnessed. My daughter and l have been to Disney on Ice for the last 23 years and we both agreed 2025 was the worst!
Poor stage settings, skaters out if time with each other, and storylines, patched together making no sense to adults or children.

The 2 stars is compairing the 2025 show…

The 2 stars is compairing the 2025 show to the 2024 show. This year the costumes and wigs were not as crisp and not all the skaters smiled or were as animated during the performance. The storyline was nowhere near as engaging as the countdown version. All this could have been forgiven if the skating was up to far. The choreography was severely lacking. Even the skaters looked bored. There were only 2 small jumps and only 2 aerial stunts that were very short and boring, compared to last years many jumps, lifts and absolutely breathtaking aerial stunts. My daughter enjoyed it. But I was left disappointed. I would rather have watched last year's performance again that the Find your hero version. I'll think twice about travelling 300kms and paying for overnight accommodation if this level of skating is being presented next year.

Disappointed. We expect something Different every year

Please improve by making more of different disney characters especially for boys. Also please improve the props from my point of view it looks cheap and very basic especially Frozen props. This year (2025) was so disappointed with no interaction with audience. Makes it worth of penny & do something different for every year!

Tedious

This is probably our seventh Disney on Ice attendance in Newcastle, NSW. I go each year with my daughter and granddaughter who is now ten. Last year was terrific and I was expecting great things, but it was just plain boring. It has been agreed this is our last time. With tickets, parking, popcorn and the obligatory merchandise it was an expensive flop. Recycled costumes and props. No real storyline. No opening compares. No gymnastic or aerial work. Seemed to be aimed at the older children. Audience appreciation reflected the general vibe (limited clapping). What did we pay for?

Fantastic every time!

I'm 30, & I've been going to Disney on ice since I was 10
Ok, different venues over the years, but that doesn't matter
I don't get these rubbish reviews, because every time I've went with my mum, we've never found anything wrong, the show was absolutely amazing this year! Characters up in the air etc. etc. Fantastic!
Will be back next year!

I’m a huge Disney fan and been lucky…

I’m a huge Disney fan and been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to visit Disney World numerous times. I took my kids to see 100 years Disney on Ice at the Ovo Hydro in Glasgow. Where do I start? There were 2 football matches being played at home in Glasgow on the same day. You would think the organisers may have checked to allow people enough time to arrive, but they clearly didn’t plan timings well at all. We were one of many families 20 minutes late due to horrendous traffic, despite giving ourselves plenty of time. We saw 15 mins before the break. At the break, I went to buy my kids souvenir snacks to make up for it. Two Frozen themed shaved ice cups, 2 character straws (because you had to pay despite there being no other way to eat the bloody things so they had you over a barrel) and one bucket of popcorn was £66!!!!! I should have told them where to go. It was less to eat dinner for 4 at the Marriott after the show!!! Disgraceful. They take full advantage of kids walking by and saying they would want something. It’s actually disgusting. The show itself was great and my kids (3 and 5) loved it. Shame the stress didn’t end there. The car park had no system for letting anyone out, with the next show filling it back up and within 1 hr we had moved a few feet with no sign of getting any further. We ended up having to re-park the car and get dinner and then go back to try and exit again. A nightmare from start to finish, and the show itself probably wasn’t worth it given the daylight robbery on top of everything else.

My grandkids really enjoyed this show

My grandkids really enjoyed this show. My daughter and I loved it as well. One suggestion, I like to see more diverse characters, it appears most of the characters of color were cleaning up on stage instead of being in a lead role---you must change this since America is a melting pot of different cultures today.

Terrible, never again

Very disappointed in the show. My 7 year old granddaughter who loves the Disney princesses asked if we could go home before intermission.
My 6 year old grandson was so bored. He was fidgeting the entire time.
I felt the same way.
O and it cost $350 before parking and then $60 for icee then $25 for pretzel and hot dog.
This has been a family tradition for 30 plus years when my daughter was younger
No more, this was it.. very disappointed.
Shame on you Disney

Noise level was awful

Noise level was awful. Noise was way way too loud to enjoy the show. I just snuck out for an hour to use the restroom as we had free tickets from family. Lights were blinding and skaters were probably disturbed enought to be tripping all over.

Went to this show 2 years ago and it…

Went to this show 2 years ago and it has improved so much my grandchildren really enjoyed it. Now for the bad part! All merchandise was overpriced my 2 grandaughters asked for some bubbles luckily when I attempted to swipe my card it didn’t work so I had to insert card and saw how much it was going to cost me £64.00 I took my card out and refused to pay for them. We ended up paying £30 for 2 slushies plastic princess cups then got charged for the straws which we had to have. It also cost £15 for a Mickey Mouse bucket of popcorn. It had already cost over £160 for tickets to show no concessions what a rip off!
