I was kept in touch with the ongoing repair at all times and the collection and delivery service was excellent. Iwas very pleased with the end result.

Really, really poor!!!
Collection of vehicle and communication was very good and professional. However the repair work was very poor. My vehicle damage was from behind and needed a new bumper, paint and new rear lights. The vehicle was repaired and returned within 10 days but on inspection the repair work was very poor. The ‘new’ bumper was covered in scratches, the lights were mis-aligned, one light was faulty and the new badges were not stuck on properly. To be fair to DLG I contacted them immediately and they agreed to send an engineer out to rectify the issues. However, for me the repair work should have been carried out to a high standard and the quality should have been checked before the car was returned to me. I will now have to take a few hours out of work whilst the engineer fixes the issues and have had to wait another 2 weeks for the engineer to come out. Overall very disappointed with the experience.
UPDATE 17/4/24:
Engineer came out on Friday 12/04/24 and carried out some of the remedial works but said that some of the scratches on the bumper couldn’t be buffed out and the car would need to go back in for a spray. Also noticed some chipped paint off the new bumper. He said he would go back to the office and report back and someone would get in touch. Waited till the following Tuesday and nobody got in touch. My wife called DLG and all the information had not been passed back to the office, so my wife briefed the lady on the phone as to what needed doing. The car has now been booked in for 7th May which is 2 weeks away and now we’re having issues with the supply of a courtesy vehicle. This whole experience has been really poor and disappointing.
UPDATE 17/5/24:
It gets worse! So my car was picked up on the 8th May after a bit of a palava with the courtesy car and went in for the remedial works. The guy who collected the car marked up all the areas that needed work and took the car. The following day I was contacted by one of the managers and we went through everything that needed doing over the phone. I was assured that everything would be sorted.
On Tuesday 14th DLG called my wife and stated the car was ready and would be dropped of the next morning (Wednesday 15th) between 9am-12pm and said they would call before arriving. Later that day I got a call from the driver stating he will drop the car off at 7.30am. Again, poor communication within DLG.
Wednesday 15th the driver turned up with the car on time and when I inspected it, it still wasn't right. Bumper still had lots of scratches. I pointed these out to the driver and he asked me to call head office. I called head office and relayed my dissatisfaction and they said would send out a technician to try and buff out the scratches. The technician turned up in the afternoon and was great. He got out all the scratches, but whilst buffing the bumper we noticed more issues. There was a paint drip that had dried into a lump; an area where masking tape had been applied and removed and taken off some paint; a small bulge which looked like the clip from behind the bumper and was sticking through to the front and on the other side, there was an area where not enough paint was applied and you could see the undercoat. There was also polish residue in all the cracks. Really poor quality workmanship. Technician rang the office and said he couldn't resolve these issues and the car would need to go back to remedy in the workshop.
On Thursday morning the car was collected AGAIN and taken back to the garage. Thursday afternoon my wife was called and told the car was done and delivery would be arranged, but nobody called until Friday morning. The driver called and said he was 10 minutes away. Luckily I work close to home and went to meet the driver.
On delivery I checked the areas that needed work and all looked good, however the car was filthy. There was polish residue everywhere again and a white dust all over which looked like it was from the workshop. Again, really, really poor quality control, but I was just glad to get my car back. However, when I got into the car, someone had left their Greggs lunch wrapper in the side of the passenger door!!!!!
I called the head office in the afternoon, but most the managers had left and have asked for a call back on Monday. Overall, a terrible experience with DLG which I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I'd originally given 2 stars but after the last few days, I've down graded to 1 star. Really poor from a big firm like DLG, would have expected a lot better!
UPDATE 20/5/24: So I waited for a call back on Monday and nobody had called by 3pm so had to call myself. Managed to get through to the site manager and complained about the state my vehicle was returned in. Again, no explanation as to why there is no quality control and he just apologised. I have hit the character limit on this review so can't add anything else but this is not the end.

Great service
Vehicle collected and once at depot, assessment carried out and a call was made to us with text updates thereafter. Vehicle was delivered back to us and we were very happy with the work completed
MIXED REVIEW
Both delivery drivers were friendly and communicated perfectly to help me arrange my working day. The support team were friendly and helpful when I managed to speak to the right person . I had a courtesy car with an engine light on. I called and emailed for several days with no joy. It was stressful driving the car not knowing what the problem was. Eventually found a mobile number for someone who had originally contacted me who passed me onto someone who arranged a replacement car for me to collect. Both were very helpful ! Your customer service team handling phone calls need some guidance

Poor experience / horrendous communication
The car was with DLG for circa 5-months, awaiting a rear silencer from JLR. Whilst I acknowledge the delay was outside of your control, the communication I received was horrendous. Promises to call me back with updates continually unfulfilled, no evidence of chasing part given, refusal to carry out additional works on my car (all to be paid for) because ‘it had already been through the body shop’…. I will not be using the garage again and wouldn’t recommend.

Car collection …
It was all very good less the communications as to when the car was going to be picked up. I was told that the car was going be picked up on the 6th of February, I waited in all afternoon, then at 5.30pm I rang to see what was happening to find out that car was not been collected. I was all so told at this point it would not be collected until the 16th February due to waiting for parts. The lady I spoke to was very uncaring. I just felt as though she didn’t give a dam that I hadn’t been given an update on what was happening.
I had to cancel the hire car being delivered too.
Everything else was fine and I was kept up to speed with everything.
Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish, kept up to date though out the process.
They finished my car repairs earlier than estimated too which was and added bonus.
Worse Customer Service, Repair Work Good
Customer Service Awful, had no correspondence off them regarding collecting my vehicle or my courtesy car. I had to ring them, to cut a very long story short, someone had forgot to sign off my car as un drivable, so didn’t get allocated a recovery. There was a mix up with Courtesy Car, so I had to keep phoning them and one male member of staff, was so rude and full of attitude. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told she was always busy on another line, asked for a call back, It never happened
I have given two stars, as the repair work has been done well, but they sent my car back with a warning light on, so had to go to my local garage to sort out. As again, no reply back from them, after phone call and email sent.
