I have been amazed at the difference Jimmy has made to our dogs training in just four sessions, his knowledge and patience is just invaluable! He’s been a godsend and would recommend him all day long !!

Having always been around and owned dogs we thought we could take on two puppies at once, and around 5 years ago Beau (Black and Tan Coonhound) and Oakley (Dalmatian) came bounding into our lives a few weeks apart. We grossly underestimated the commitment required and soon started battling to live alongside 2 reactive dogs. I say live but actually we existed, walking them had become frustrating and anxiety provoking. Beau would bark and buck at everything, traffic, dogs and bikes and Oakley would back him up be it all on a bit more selective level. Then we found Jimmy, recommended to us by a friend. In just 4 short sessions we have gone from being reclusive, anxious, dog walkers who chose the timings and locations of walks with military precision, to being confident to face any scenario, visiting busy National Trust properties and taking doggy holidays again, knowing we have been given the training tips and guidance of, in our opinion, the best trainer ever! Jimmy is patient, methodical in his training, passionate and most of all non judgemental of the journey we have had so far or the mistakes we’ve made. Yes you need to be committed to do the homework set but the things Jimmy teaches makes sense and really does work. Having embarked on other training journeys that haven’t helped us at all, we can honestly say that Jimmy has changed ours and Beau and Oakley’s lives. We are relaxed, the boys are relaxed and we are back to enjoying walks, nature and being outside and we can’t wait to embark on all the adventures we thought we would have, but due to the problems we were having, were too anxious to attempt. Thank you for everything Jimmy - you are amazing 🤩 We would one million percent recommend Jimmy if you’re struggling with difficult behaviours from your dog, our only regret is we didn’t find Jimmy sooner!!

I can’t thank Jimmy at Dogpawfection enough for the incredible training and support he’s given us. Before working with him, Poppy had bitten two dogs, was extremely reactive toward other dogs and prey, and our walks were a nightmare, filled with stress and anxiety.
With Jimmy’s guidance, everything has changed. His training is structured beautifully, and he is not only thoughtful and thorough but also deeply passionate about what he does. Thanks to his skills, patience, and the genuine love he puts into his work, I’ve been able to strengthen my bond with Poppy and now we truly enjoy our walks and time together. The transformation had been incredible.
Looking back, I wish I had reached out for help sooner, because this experience has genuinely transformed our lives. So, don't wait too long to start your better life with your pooch ❤️

We have a very nervous Romanian rescue, or I should say ‘had’. Jimmy had an amazing hands on approach, able to take the lead (literally) and show us how to build his confidence. He always had time to provide advice outside of the sessions too. It has made an incredible difference, he’s like a different dog! Also credit to Meg who gave us great advice on Conan’s dietary requirements :)

We needed help with how we could help our two Weimaraner's Vera 6 and Jake 2
Both strong willed good dogs but Vera had some bad habits we didn’t want Jake copying.
Jimmy was fantastic with all issues we had.
Walking, barking at door bell anxiety in car.
But big one we are still work on everyday is Jake’s separation anxiety from Vera ( his mum)
We feel we have learnt so much from our 6 sessions with Jimmy that we are working on everyday.
Thank you so much, Vera and Jake loved you! It makes such a difference that you obviously love your job and all dogs.

We were really struggling with our cute but very difficult mini schnauzer Hugo. What a difference a few months expert training has made. Dogpawfection has been a fantastic help with our dog’s behaviour. Jimmy, with his expert guidance, has made a huge difference, improving walking on the lead and reducing reactivity. The support extends beyond training, with advice on nutrition and ongoing contact. Their sessions, from 1:1 training to pack walks, are invaluable. Highly recommend!

I can’t express how grateful we are that Jimmy from Dogpawfection was recommended to us. We were ready to rehome our 1 year old female dog as she was very reactive on her lead and had also attacked our other male dog on a few occasions. We initial booked a 1:1 session which was way beyond our expectation, within 5 minutes out on her lead with Jimmy she was like a different dog. We can now take her out without her lunging for or cowering from everything. The dogpawfection team are amazing and always there for any help or advice.They are genuinely lovely people and have not only taught us about our dogs but have also taught us life skills. The team run lots of other sessions such as boot camps, a hike and train, which is amazing , pack walks etc 😁🦮 We now have a new Dogpawfection family that have changed our lives and helped us keep our lovely Luna.

Booking Jimmy for the 3 day bootcamp
was by far the best thing I’ve done
it’s a work in progress, but already my Dachshund has improved massively
he was so reactive with people visiting our house and a nightmare on walks refusing to walk and his reactivity, but he’s so much better since the training.
I will continue with more training sessions and the pack walks I’m looking forward to meeting other members and sharing experiences. If you’re considering booking any training do it

Cannot recommend Jimmy enough we have been to many trainers and spent thousands of pounds trying to sort our dogs reactivity! It’s still early days but we feel we can see an improvement in Rudy listening us and trusting us more and with more practice it can only get better ! We were at a point were we didn't know if we could keep our dog, he was destructive, extremely nervous and impossible to walk on a lead so we contacted Jimmy, from the first time he was introduced to our very large dog we knew he was the man for the job! He is extremely knowledgeable, he has given us the confidence and tools we needed.
Jimmy and Apollo are now best of buddies and we all enjoy each and every session. He has the magic touch when it comes to dogs he is at one with them.
Don't waste your time and money on other cheaper so called trainers, it's really not worth it.
Jimmy and his team are highly recommended, very professional and experts in their field.
Would like to also thank Meg, she was very helpful indeed and even went the extra mile when Apollo was poorly.

I can't recommend Dog Pawfection enough. Josh is patient and brilliant, really knows his stuff! My 16 month collie was difficult to handle, lunging and barking at cars, cats, desperate to pull me towards people and dogs, barking at traffic when in the car, crazy pulling on the lead, sometimes lunging and biting me. I'd tried numerous training classes and everything failed, I was failing my dog. Josh could see all the mistakes I was making and after the first of 4 tailored sessions, my dog was listening to me and so much calmer! What a difference at the end of the training. I now have the knowledge and skills to work with Merlin and our relationship is amazing. I love Dog Pawfection and everything that Josh has done for us. Thank you!

Willow our rescue Labrador was reactive towards other dogs & some people. Was unable to settle in the house & walked us round her walk! With a baby on the way we thought we would book in with Jimmy. Having had another trainer in the past we thought willow was just going to be one of those dogs that were unable to train. We were so wrong.
Jimmy has been amazing in showing us how to develop our relationship further with willow. She is no longer reactive to people or dogs, she does not pull on the lead & she is perfect in the house. Jimmy is full of knowledge and makes you feel so relaxed and confident when training your dog.
If you are contemplating getting a trainer, go for it & make sure you choose dog pawfection!

Albert, our 4 year old english bulldog was such hard work. Aggressive towards me and destructive around the house and garden. A course of sessions with Jimmy and he is a different dog. He still has his moments byt we now have techniques to modify his behaviour, he is well on thebway to being fully crate trained and, as well as it being a much more comfortable environment for me and my family, Albert seems happier alround himself. Cant recommend dog pawfection enough!!
