The best dog trainer ever!
Jimmy is the dog trainer every dog owner needs. He has all the knowledge, he is professional, patient & kind, empathetic & he listens, unlike other dog trainers. He is certainly not one size fits all like some trainers, he goes out of his way to ensure results for you & your dog. His training sessions are always fun & he approaches them in clear concise ways. Meg is also so helpful, i have every confidence in her for support. Dogpawfection are there for the humans in your household as well as your dog! No matter what your dog’s issues are, there is only one trainer to call……Dogpawfection……. The best! We always turn to them for help support & advice 👏🏻💪🏻🙏🏻

I can't recommend dog pawfection enough. These guys care. Josh provided clear guidance, and unmatched support. They train the person not just the dog. Our reactive terrier is now a different dog, and it is all down to them. In addition, once you are in the network, you have support for life. Not just dog pawfection, but also the dog pawfection community.

We had tried so many trainers before we found Jimmy and thanks to Jimmy I can walk my dog with confidence and not be worried, his training has honestly changed my life and I can’t thank him enough!

We reached out to Dogpawfection when we noticed some behavioural issues with our recent rescue. We quickly realised that before we can expect our dogs to change we must first change ourselves! With the help of Josh we have learnt so much about reactivity and how to manage it to make our dog happier and more fulfilled.

We attend the pack walks as often as possible and agree with other reviewers that they are an excellent experience, a real lifeline for some. As a free exercise for Dogpawfection clients only, it’s so refreshing to be around likeminded people who use the same training techniques. It really helps “top up” our training and resets our dog every time we join, it’s like he remembers “oh this is what I should be doing!” They’re also a great way to get some time in with the trainers directly outside 1-2-1 sessions.

Cannot recommend the Dogpawfection team enough, they’ve quite literally changed our lives.

Jimmy and his team are incredible! Our dog Rocco was a perfect pup until he turned one, then he started reacting to other dogs under certain circumstances. This was problematic for our very social lifestyle, and the fact we go camping a lot in the summer, and I hated seeing him stressed.

Thanks to Jimmy's team, our lives, and Rocco's, have transformed! They taught us why Rocco behaved the way he did and how to help him feel comfortable and stress-free in challenging situations. While we still have tough days, knowing how to manage them has been revolutionary.

The pack walks are also a fantastic bonus, offering both social time with like-minded individuals and additional training.

I've already recommended Jimmy's team to many people and will continue to do so. They're lifesavers!

We contacted DogPawfection for our staffie who was dog reactive and we had some issues in the house (barking at windows, jumping up at guests, counter surfing, etc).

In just one session we had the tools to start training and the difference was night and day. Over the three sessions we had we got an insight into our dogs behaviour, learned how to train him, read his body language and our confidence in taking him on walks improved. Once the sessions are over you’re not just left to it, we’ve been able to get advise and support when we’ve needed it.

Can’t recommend DogPawfection highly enough. Jimmy, Josh, Jamie and Meg are all fantastic! 5*’s isn’t enough!

Our lives have changed so much since we started, it’s no longer stressful having a dog and he’s so much happier and confident.

Had 3 sessions with our rescue Jack Russell who bit almost every male who came into the house. He was both dog and human reactive (although we didn’t know he was human reactive when we rescued him).
Jimmy gave us the tools to turn Milo into a calm, happy dog. We still have off days but the alternative would almost definitely have resulted in Milo being put to sleep.
It’s an absolute joy to be part of the Dog Pawfection family.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Jimmy and his team to anyone who needed help with their dogs.

Can't thank dogpawfection enough I have 3 dogs, staffy, toy poodle and a jackawa 3 would jump all over visitors and 2 would bark on the slightest noise, 3 pulling on lead, 2 barking at anything and 1 would want to attack, I can honestly say my visitors are enjoying having a cup of tea enjoying less barking and the walks are now very enjoyable.

Training provided by Dog Pawfection was fantastic and helped so much with behavioural issues would definitely recommend.

I can’t thank Jimmy enough for the support, training and guidance he gave to me and my 3 dogs during our sessions.

His teachings allowed me to catch up with the dogs (who were actually running rings around me 🤦🏻‍♀️) and whilst it was not what I wanted to hear he was absolutely spot on in every word he said and because of him I have become a better dog owner and my dogs are now so content!

With 3 dogs (who even has 3 mad dogs!) we still have our ‘challenging days’ but the tools taught have equipped me to cope, to deal and let go of what I can not change in any one 24 hour period!

Where do I start with how grateful I am for dog pawfection?? We have had Josh as our dog trainer since our dog was 4 months old and she is now 3 years old. He has guided and taught us everything we know and helped get us where we are today. We are no way near finished learning new things (and don’t think we ever will be) but will always be consistent with training everyday of our dogs life. I recommend dog pawfection to everybody and can’t recommend them enough (even to people I don’t know whose dogs are not trained when they come near mine!!) and will do forever!! Their knowledge to the dog world is amazing and make so much sense. All the team at dog pawfection want to help, support and make the dog world a better place for our dogs and all humans. Dogpawfection have been a life line for me and my reactive frenchie! Not only were the 1:1 sessions fab the ongoing advice and support afterwards is amazing. I had experience with other behaviourists but the knowledge and understanding these guys have is second to none!

We booked for reactivity and some other issues and completed our sessions with Josh. We also attend the pack walks as much as possible which help keep up with training. They give you so much advice and guidance and are always there when you need them. They make everything make sense and make you wonder how you haven't thought of things sooner. Worth every penny!

Changed my life, Jimmy helped me to understand how to train my dogs in multiple situations.

Absolutely Fantastic!!!
I would 100% recommend Dogpawfection, I was having problems with my blue Staffy. Who would jump all over visitors who came to my house, leaving really bad scratches all over their legs. So I booked Dogpawfection and on the very 1st visit, within the hour my dog Obi was sat on his bed and even sleeping when I got friends to call around. I honestly never thought that to be possible.
Also nothing is too much trouble for them, if you need to ask for help they are at the end of the phone no hesitation whatsoever. Thank you Dogpawfection your by far the best x

We have a 3 year old cocker spaniel who was reactive to both dogs and people. We had 3 visits in total, with dedicated one to one training from Jimmy who was fantastic. He is so approachable and knowledgeable.

The advice and training was invaluable. Feel like we have a much more happy dog, and that we understand her needs so much more now.

The training was so good that we signed up to the online academy for further advice and help in other areas of training.

Dog pawfection provides an excellent service and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My Labrador and I have had training from all of the Dog Pawfection team and I can recommend everyone. So much knowledge, so well done in a kind and constructive way but also beyond the training you pay for, they are also there with help and encouragement aftercare. Just a brilliant team.

Took my rescue dog on a 3 day training course with Jimmy and it’s honestly changed our lives, I don’t dread walks anymore and Luna is so much more happier and calmer. After having exhausting myself for month's by doing what I thought was the correct methods, unfortunately seen little to no result when leash training my alaskan malamute/husky.

Within (3 hrs) 1 session of jimmy teaching me the correct techniques, the do's & dont's, I can already see a huge improvement with a much happier, focused and engaged boy 🐶,

& what a beautiful feeling it is to feel more equipped and capable to handle my dog with much less anxiety.🥹🙏🏼

Helped us with our 11.5 year old staff x mastif who was reactive to other dogs & light.
Stopped this within a few sessions and gave us tools and also taught us how to give our dog the best life. We now have a puppy & continue to use the training we were shown along with the online member platform to teach us how to give him the best life.
