The representative I spoke to was so very helpful and kind. I had a great experience with the technician they sent me. Thank you

The service tech was unable to fix my washer and submitted that on his report. I have tried to get your company to discuss my problem and I’ve heard nothing!! Very disappointing. I don’t think domestic & General is the problem! Whirlpool is the biggest problem here!

Honestly, save yourself the headache and go with literally anyone else. I’ve been dealing with a broken dishwasher for almost five months now and the lack of service is an absolute joke.
Since February 10th, I have called them 11 separate times. Eleven. I’ve been given an official case number, I’ve followed up until I'm blue in the face, and nothing ever changes. They make appointments, they promise it’ll get handled, and here we are on May 7th and the dishwasher is still completely broken.
The absolute kicker is that they have charged me every single month while this has been going on. I am literally paying a monthly fee for a service they are completely failing to provide. It feels like a total scam at this point.
Incredibly frustrating, terrible communication, and zero accountability. Do not trust them.

I signed up for this extended warranty with my appliances in my brand new home. I was supposed to get all four appliances for 11.99 per month. For two months straight the payment was correct came out like normal and on the third month my payment spiked to 23.98. This was a double Price jump so I called and they said that that is what happens but they would offer me a 20% discount that I could have for the next year and I could call back again to try to negotiate the discount price after a year. I quickly did the math and to me that is wild that that was still a price increase from the set upon an agreed payment not even 60 days prior with their “discount”. I canceled my policy altogether. I would much rather take my hard earned money and spend it on a repair at the time it happens then the preventative payment that has increased not even 90 days in. I think that is crazy that this corporate Organization is going to rob people of trying to protect their assets. The corporate greed is absolutely wild to me. I will never be doing business with them again and moving forward, I will look for a different company to purchase my appliances from other than anything whirlpool or related franchise.

I was sold a Warranty when I called to have my KitchenAid Dishwasher repaired. I was convinced that for the one year of Warranty at $35.99/month, a repair person would be out quickly (and he was to diagnose the problem) and if repair could not be completed, I would be given a NEW replacement dishwasher! So, I bought the warranty. A month went by - no repair, yet; a second month went by - no repair was scheduled, yet so I called the Technical Service number. The poor D&G tech service agent was appalled my parts were not in, and my dishwasher had not been repaired. He told me to return the call if I didn't hear from them within a week - he was expediting the request. Today, I get a call - part was not available, they would refund my 3 month payment for the warranty and that was it! No new dishwasher, no repair of the 8 year old KitchenAid, nothing! I tried calling and was 14th in the call-line... I'll get my own. In the depth of the warranty contract it says should they have to replace your dishwasher, you are responsible for the installation and disposal of the old dishwasher! Ha! I'll get my own...

same story with many other reviews....A repair is scheduled. No one shows up. No one answers the phone at the repair company. We called 8 times D&G and they tell you the same song with the same words; we can not cancelled the old appointment. we must crea a case and it takes some time to resolve....A month later no resolution. Waiting for a supervisor to call us. We will give them 5 days till we report them to BBB and call our Lawyer to get our money back and pay what ever we get charged from a local repair shop.

Really bad service. I purchased a plan 10 days ago for repair or replace of my microwave for $31/month per 12 months. Then I called them since my microwave is broken and now they can not repair it. Since they can not repair it they are going to cancel the plan and refund me the money. And still with no usable microwave. Totally unacceptable.

The repair man came to fix the ice maker and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He diagnosed the problem and had to order the part. When he came to put the part in he found that it didn't fix the problem so he decided to replace the motherboard. That part came in quickly and he replaced it right away which solved the problem. I was so thankful that he was thorough in his investigation and repair. I will use you again and am so glad I had this coverage! The refrigerator is only 2.5 years old so didn't expect a problem this soon.

I'm going to start on a positive note. They did send me an email to say the service, that I had not used for the whole year and yet paid for, was coming up for renewal. I will give them that. Many recurring charges are not announced in advance so I do appreciate that. And the lady who helped me cancel was very nice cancel. so there is that.
A year ago I signed up to have my daughter's washer serviced. The next available date was 10 days out and I understand that. The problem came when the guy they sent didn't fix it. He was there 15 minutes, said everything's good to go and yet when we tried it after he was gone it didn't work. I immediately tried calling and could not get through to him left several messages. These messages were never returned. I tried to reschedule which was a pain in itself. The earliest time he had (apparently the guy doing the service was the only one in my area) was two weeks away. That means with a large family and a lot of laundry she was going to be over 3 weeks without a washer.
I called Domestic & General numerous times and they were no help either. The best they could do was that appointment two weeks away that I had already booked. So I escalated up the chain to cancel the contract because nothing had been fixed even though the repairman had signed off on it. We had not signed anything.
I was informed the only way to cancel was to pay a cancelation fee which was over 2/3 of the whole contract. No matter the circumstances they said that was the best they could do. Luckily, I was in a position to buy a new washer, which I did, and just ate the contract for the year. I wasn't gonna hassle with them any longer.
Needless to say I will never do any business with them again! And before I do business with any other extended service warranty people I'll make sure to do the research and make sure it's not another name for them. If I find them doing business other names, I will leave this same review.
