Communication was awful in fact I had no communication I had to make contact throughout. I contacted several times, got cut off and no one bothered to phone me back and when I did phone I was just passed round departments answering the same questions. Over two weeks without a washing machine with a family of two kids, when you know it couldn’t be fixed after two days. Not impressed.

The engineer did all that had to be done but to know avail couldn't be fixed so it was replaced with a new tumble dryer

Hotpoint did not fit new fridge or dispose of old one they said cable was not long enough to fit socket had my own fitter to fit fridge and cable was more than long enough now out of pocket with payment to Hotpoint to install and payment my ow own fitter

My washer gave up the ghost and I called Domestic and General . They responded immediately with an engineer ,who confirmed it was beyond repair .As he left he said he'd send the message and I should hear back in a day or two .Infact ,I dont think he'd got out of my street before I heard from D&G .I was told to go straight on a site where I chose an upgraded washer for £15 ,extra .Unbelievable service ,cannot praise them enough ,inside a week my new washer is in ,installed and cutting through my built up piles .

Well, I put my WASHING MACHINE on this morning and popped out.
When I got back, the washing was DONE, but the machine had MOVED slightly… was almost sideways on…. Has almost broken the side of the unit where it fits under. IT IS NOT SECURE. I am NOT HAPPY

I am so happy with the swift response from Domestic & General. The delivery of my new TV was outstanding, and the entire process was seamless. After my TV screen was damaged and deemed beyond repair, my replacement TV arrived within just two days.
A big thank you to D&G Insurance for such excellent service. Taking out the insurance was definitely a decision I don't regret, and I will certainly continue to use and recommend them.
