The engineer arrived the next day and looked at the appliance and decided that at 18 years old it would be impossible to repair it successfully. He arranged for me to speak to an operative to replace the machine as soon as possible/

What a joke of a company, they take your money for a repair plan then don't repair or even pay up, I've been waiting about 2 years to pay up for a cooker they couldn't repair and now my freezer keeps defrosting every 3 weeks, ive had callouts over last 3 months last one was beginning of June, and now freezer defrosting again, tried to ring them 4 times TODAY each time they hang up saying can't take your call right now. I'm losing hundreds pounds worth of food each time.
NOT ONLY HAVE THEY BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT WITH ME OVER THE COOKER DESPITE ME WRITING NUMEROUS REQUESTS FOR THE REPLACEMENT COOKER BUT NOW THEY WONT FIX MY FREEZER. ONE ENGINEER THAT CAME IN MARCH WAS AT MY HOUSE ABOUT 6 MINUTES, ALL HE DID WAS TURN FREEZER ON AND OFF AND THE OTHER 5 MINUTES SPENT TRYING TO SELL ME SACHETS TO CLEAN THE WASHER. NOW YOU CANNOT GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM.
IM NOW CONTACTING MY PARLIAMENTARY MINISTER AND THE FCA FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT, AND TRADING STANDARDS, THEY TOOK MY MONEY FOR YEARS TO REPAIR THESE APPLIANCES NOW WONT REPLACE OR REPAIR. ITS NOT ON.
I HAVE CONTACTED DOMESTIC &GENERAL SO MANY TIMES AND MADE ANOTHER COMPLAINT 3 WEEKS AGO ABOUT LACK OF REPLACEMENT AND THERE WAS NO RESOLVE TO MY COOKER AND TOLD TO RING IF I WANTED YET ANOTHER REPAIR MAN TO MY FREEZER, TRIED 4 TIMES TO RING TODAY AND THEY KEEP HANGING UP SAYING CANT TAKE YOUR CALL NOW. IM BEING GIVEN THE RUN AROUND AND SICK OF IT NOW.
NOW THEY RESPOND SAYING TO CONTACT THEM YET AGAIN, WITH THE SAME INFO THEYVE HAD SO MANY TIMES.

The appointment was made for within a couple of days, the engineer arrived when he said he would. The problem was soughted within about an hour. It turned out the colour catchers I was using had jammed up the filter further in the machine,note, never had this problem before, won't be using again. All soughted, now working perfectly. Excellent service.

The Operator I spoke to was so helpful she was clear and concise and explained everything to me and even helped me finds the information I needed. She was not pushy at all when it came to a sales opportunity at the end and respected my wishes

My existing fridge covered under an insurance product was deemed beyond repair. Despite being told I would be contacted to arrange replacement, and having received calls regarding the repair I had to chase this myself as “there wasn’t a correct tel on record for me”
After ordering this was due to be delivered 5 working days later. The item did not arrive as advised as “it wasn’t on the van”. I chase up (again) later that day. I was told the item wouldn't fit on the delivery vehicle and “we would have called you eventually” which doesn’t seem good enough. A further 3 working days passed causing much upset after which point I was sent a one via AO the next working day despite being told this couldn’t be done in the first instance.
The service has been overall poor, communication severely lacking and I was left without a fridge/freezer for over nearly 3 weeks during a hot British summer. Formal complaint raised as yet no reply (shock!)

Great, prompt service securing steady access to WiFi broadband signal in a "difficult" hose design.
I have purchased insurance from domestic and general for a long time for a few items. Prices are very reasonable and I am always kept up to date with any changes to my policies. I would highly recommend.

My experience has been awful. Our washing machine is still under warranty and it has been almost 2 weeks since an engineer came out to confirm we need a new drum and it has been a whole month with no washing machine. I have laundrette bills for up to £50 and I've been told I can't be compensated. I have no idea how long this will go on for but I am not happy at all.

Waited nearly 3 weeks from reporting repair till getting it done. Could gave gone out and bought another quicker. When got part got to wait another week to get it done. Thinking about cancelling all plans

1. Following the service, the water takes ages to heat up for the taps. Possibly due to the engineer changing settings to some sort of 'Eco ...'??? And how can we reset it to what we want?
2. Still infuriating that you refuse to give closer indication of arrival time.
3. Failure of your survey to include scope for making the above comments - and even after the question about any post-service problems. I answered 'Yes' but it didn't lead to "Please explain what."
