Utterly disgraceful

Utterly disgraceful. The replacement TV, even though it's a new model, does not come with extended 5 year warranty that my original TV came with. So you cancelled my original 5 year warranty just to leave the new TV completely unprotected past the manufacturer's 1 year unless I take out a new paid plan?? Utterly shameful and disgraceful!

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service provided by Domestic and General with regards to replacement machine and the cover that comes with it.

Plans and policies do not transfer from one machine to the other and any new replacement machine would have to have new cover purchased for it as the old cover would have ended due to a replacement being offered and accepted .

Engineer arrived on time

Engineer arrived on time. He knew as soon as he switched the TV on what was wrong.
I had to have a new screen. It was fitted within a fortnight & amazingly it took him less than an hour

Engineer was diverted to another call…

Engineer was diverted to another call so had to wait another 5 days for next appointment which went perfectly well and boiler repaired. Engineer was smart and knowledgeable, kept dust sheet etc down and cleared up after repair done. No mess left at all.
