This is the first time using The Drain Doctor and I’ve been really impressed . Our toilet kept blocking and the previous company we used never got to the source of the problem, even after using a camera ! Also we had to wait a week for an appointment, but today Drain Doctor sent Craig out to us within an hour!! FREE call out and a quote on establishing the problem - slightly more expensive than the last company, but money well spent as the blockage was cleared this time and the camera showed another pipe jutting a way into the soil pipe- no wonder it kept blocking ! We are now being quoted for removal of this pipe to prevent further blockages! Thanks to Michelle for sending us someone so quickly and huge thanks to Craig for getting the job sorted and solved (in the middle of a huge thunderstorm too!)

Due to a main drainage block a very professional and experienced engineer arrived within 4hrs to unblock using the latest camera and high-powered water jet system. Not only did he unblock the soil pipe but explained and showed the root cause…..a building fault!! Within a week they were back to remove the offending issue. The whole experience was very professional and efficient! Would thoroughly recommend this company to resolve any drainage issues.

I paid for look and see drainage report which included downloaded footage. The engineer explained that there was no sagging pipe and that there was a blockage, the report provided did not contain any of this information. He said that further work needs to be carried out and still took full payment on site. No downloaded footage was provided although they took payment for this. I asked for more info as I was confused with the minimal info, the lady on the phone kept promising a call back but I had to chase this up over 3 weeks. Each time I got through she kept giving me info which contradicted the initial findings and then contradicting herself. She promised a calk from an engineer and they never called. The director then messed me around following a complaint promising calls to provide further information but not doing so. Not even a courteous call to say he was still looking into it.
This whole thing has made me feel very anxious and stressed. They have taken my money for a service they did not provide and have given me the run around when I have asked for some clarity.
Response to your reply: The director of the local office has been in touch and has refused to resolve the issue because I have made it public that I am dissatisfied with their service.

Tom arrived within the window I was given.

He quoted me £240 plus vat for first 2 hours which was higher than I expected but agreed because I don’t really know the current rates and I had a problem which needed sorting.

The blockage was cleared very quickly but he also decided to jet the drain and send cctv down which was a good call because a damaged pipe was found under my neighbours house. Tom believes that as it’s a shared drain it should be covered by the water company and advised me to report it. He even spoke to our neighbours which is something I wasn’t looking forward to.
We got our two hours worth in full, let’s hope the water company fixes the drain before it blocks again.

The only criticism I can give is that he was not informed of my problem, even though I sent a long explanation and photos to the person I booked with.

Quick response time, very friendly technician fixed the issue next day. Would recommend this service.

Quick follow up to my request on the website on a Sunday evening. Turned up the next day in the time window they said they would and fixed our drain for a reasonable price. Friendly and professional. I'd use them again.

This company took advantage of my ill health they took the money up front nearly £300! & Left B4 completing the job fully do not use them I saved up my money to have this work carried out and gone just like that and so was they.

My experience of Drain Doctor has been a positive one.
I called up on the Tuesday, as my kitchen sink waste was not flowing away properly, lady on the phone was apologetic as they could not come out until the following afternoon - that was ok with me.
Tom arrived and was certain he knew the cause of the problem before even really looking for the issue.
So 10/10 for Tom as he was correct, he dealt with the blockage (outside) and all seems great once again 😀.
I must say Tom was respectful of my property and advised me to keep the dogs indoors as he would have the side gate open for access.

I called them on the Saturday after Boxing Day due to a block drain, I was advised I would have someone by 10:30am that morning, they were prompt, quick and efficient clearing the drains quickly and cleanly, I was explained to what was completed shown the camera screen for the clear drain, very professional from start to finish, Craig was polite and explained everything while he was here, I will definitely use again if required or recommend to friends and family
