It was easy to arrange the appointment. The operative arrived on time and dealt with the problem quickly , explaining what he was doing and also showing me what had caused the issue. The price was fair for the job and was quoted prior to work being srarted

From the telephone call to work carried out everyone was polite and friendly.
Casey called before arriving to unblock toilet, he explained what needed doing and sorted the problem out efficiently and answered all my questions.
He also cleared up all the mess the blockage had caused. Would recommend 100%

Absolutely brilliant company. I phoned the Ipswich branch due to leaking sewage in my back garden. They came to assess extremely quickly and found that the problem was Anglia Water’s not mine. They called Anglia Water to register the issue for me and took all the stress out of the situation. The guy who attended (I sadly can’t remember his name), was utterly brilliant. This firm is definitely now my go to for drain issues.

Having had a company refuse to service and fix a broken pipe within my water treatment system because I wasn't signed up for a yearly contract, Drain Dr came to my rescue. I am so delighted with their work and cannot praise Kevin and Rob enough. Two visits were needed and all went to plan with the on-site fix. Communication was excellent throughout, as was the entire process from start to finish.

Great experience with Drain Doctor today. The guy was really knowledgeable and showed me on the camera what the issues were before carrying out the work.

Very pleased with service, available within hours of telephoning. Person who took my call was clear and answered my questions. The engineer who attended, Jordan, was very helpful and explained the problem clearly. The van was equipped with the right stuff, a great camera and screen to show the problem and a strong powered hose with own water supply to clear the blockage. Jordan even sent we a message where I could get new manhole cover screws. Would definitely use them again

Excellent service and prompt on all aspects

Called out Drain Doctor today for a tenanted property. They said they'll arrive, assess and then call me to tell me a price before proceeding on the job.

The drainage specialist called me after the visit, told me he thinks he's identified the blockage and he needs to pressure the blockage to clear it and then ensure it's free flowing, even went as far as saying if the blockage isn't there he might need to go to the neighbouring house and it could take a couple hours.

I paid the fee which was over £200 and then called the tenant to update them. The tenant said he's already cleared the blockage, he plunged it and then took out some debris by hand, was in and out in 10 minutes and has already gone.

The engineer lied for no reason, made it out like it's a big job after just plunging the drain. Just a bold face lie straight to the customer.

You instruct some like Drain Doctor for a professional service, you're better of just calling the local plumber at a far more reasonable rate.

Update: I raised a complain with Drain Doctor when this happened and it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t update the review following it. The team was very apologetic about the incident, wanted to stress this is not how they operate and conducted a full instigation. They have now resolved the issue to a satisfactory standard. Credit where credit is due, they acted swiftly following the complaint. On balance I think a 3 star is fair.
