Terrible accommodation & staff

Arrived at accommodation and it was in a terrible state. The bed sheet were dirty, there appeared to be a vomit style markings down the wall behind the bed in one of the rooms. Fridge wasn't clean. Cigarette burns on the livingroom carpet with a smell of smoke in the living room.

I paid for two rooms through hotels.com…

I paid for two rooms through hotels.com for Silk House Court in Liverpool, but upon arrival I was asked to pay for a room because the payment hadn't gone through. Due to internet issues i couldn't access my phone to prove I had paid. Therefore I paid 333£ for the room, and then we would solve everything the next day. The day after during our Stadium tour, the reception is calling me saying we have receive the wrong room, and we have to switch rooms before 4pm, as the right people have to have the room. We are then given the right room, and the man in the reception promise to transfer the money with 10 working days. It is now 1½ month ago. I have written several emails to both the Liverpool Branch and through the website, but no one is answering my mails.

This is a rubbish way of driving a business, and I hope others will think twice before they book rooms at dreamapartments!!

Shambles

Stayed in the Manchester ‘Dream’ apartments. More like nightmare. I’ve seen dog kennels more sanitary than this. Abismal. As soon as you walk in the smell of urine just hits you. The reception looks like a taxi office. Had to pay an extra £100 deposit ‘for any damages’ caused. So in total we paid £253 for one night. Never got our deposit back even though we took photos of the room just as we got there and before we left. no duvet cover on the duvet, no pillows and a vape found down the side of the sofa. And we booked early check in so turned up 2 hours early to be told our rooms weren’t ready so when we finally checked in it still wasn’t ready🤣 we paid £10 extra for a balcony which we didn’t get which I’m grateful for because the only view we had was a frothy faeces filled river. We had 2 leaflets in the apartment, one which said check out is 10am and one said 11am. Tried phoning them about the deposit but no answer, they obviously leave the phone off the hook because apparently there’s someone at reception 24 hours a day. You’ve got more chance of getting hold of NASA. the place is a shambles. Not fit for maggots. They false advertise because the rooms are nothing like the photos and the staff that work there have about as much charisma as a dandruff flake.

No deposit returned at Dream Apartments in Dundee…

Stayed at Dream Apartments in Dundee and booked 3 apartments. Paid 100 deposit for each apartment plus the stay cost. Dundee reception was empty and we had a remote checkin with Manchester. RBS blocked the transaction and eventually paid the full amount. Still waiting on my deposit back of 300 gbp. This is surely criminal and should be investigated. Dundee say as it was Manchester that did the booking they cannot do anything. Solicitor next. Do not stay!!!!!!

Do not give deposits back!

I read reviews that this company does not give deposits back and that is 100% true, almost a month after checking out I still find myself contacting head office everyday.

Avoid and go to city suits

Manchester had 100s of cheaper options that can provide a better experience.

I stayed here for work and the troubles I encounter directly impacted my job.

This place is ideal for kids, drug dealers and party animals. If you want a place for work, relaxing or a family get away please rethink everything.

The staff can not do their jobs, the building smells and the guests are all there for a day and will make that clear through the sound and way they treat each other

I stayed in dream house Liverpool

I stayed in dream house Liverpool, I arrived at about 4pm and the line was out the door in the rain waiting to check in and I got soaked! Going up to the apartment the corridors just stank of weed and loud music was playing for the whole time I was there.
The apartment was terrible uncomfortable bed stains on the sofas cracks in the walls.
And they took £100 deposit which they still haven’t sent back almost a month on!
Absolute scammers they should be shut down. I’ve tried to contact them about this to get resolved but shockingly they are ignoring me!

Booked an apartment for 17th February…

Booked an apartment for 17th February for 4 people a few weeks back, got an email on 13th February saying due to unforseen circumstances with maintenance, my booking was cancelled. Fast forward 24 hours and suddenly there is a listing back on booking.com for almost double what I paid.

The unforseen circumstances are more like they've realised the Premier League Darts is on at the Odyssey and there's a few more £ to be made.

Dream appartments Dale Street Liverpool

Was booked into dream appartments Dale Street Liverpool, when we arrived, was rather interested to discover that the property did'nt actually exist, there is a sticker on an upstairs window, but thats the extent of the accomodation, not sure where the lovely promo video on the website was fillmed, but certainly was'nt at this property. There was a door way, which was blocked up, appeared to be very much abandoned, there was no working entrance after walking around the building a couple of times assuming we had missed something, eventually found a phone number and was instructed to go around to there other property on Tithebarn street. When we got there, there was no way of getting in, no doorbell or buzzer, had to wait for someone to leave before we could gain access and the gentleman who was leaving to let us in even though he appeared to be homeless, was less than complimentary of the experience of staying there. After 5-10 minutes waiting in a que that can best be described as a cross between signing on day at the dole and a processing que in prison, my wife and I decided at that point top abandon our rare trip away together and head back for home. Have contacted booking.com with regards to this who have said nothing to do with us and also dream apartments who seemed more concerned that I had'nt read the original email correctly regarding checkin being at there other accomodation, rather than the actual issues I had with the property, they offered to change dates of booking for me (as if i'm setting foot there again), but no refund forthcoming, can't believe a scam like this has been allowed to carry on for so long, accomodation still listed on Booking.com, I have reported them to local trading standards also, please, please, please avoid, if one sing money here, this review will be worth while

Disgrace

Disgrace. We arrived at 20:30 and the address on booking.com took us to a student housing block. We went in and there was no one there. We called 15 times with no answer to try and see where we had to go. We then walked down the road and asked a lovely couple where dream apartments was. They mentioned that it was another 20 minute walk away. When we finally arrived at 10pm we were greeted by a not so friendly security guard that checked us in. Prior to checking us in, he locked us in the building and finished his cigarette :) He finally gave us a key and told us we had to walk back to the place that we had just been With all of our luggage. When we finally arrived at the apartment at 22:30 we were greeted with no bedding, no toilet roll and no will to live by this point. It didn’t even look like the pictures. We had messaged the apartment to ask some questions and we have only just received a response 3 weeks later. Great customer service guys :) do not reccomend

Awful

tv not working, apartment disgustingly dirty, extraction fan in bathroom not working leading to dangerous moisture buildup on floor on which I slipped and painfully damaged my leg, staff completely out of depth and unable to cope with the numerous complaints coming their way with no help from management (I witnessed this myself when staff were begging management to help them with the numerous complaints and were fobbed off and told to deal with it)

The room itself was fine however I was charged £100 deposit which I was told would be repayable upon leaving. I am yet to receive any correspondence regarding this - we left the room exactly how it was found. I have raised this issue with booking.com. I assumed everything would be okay as I was booking through Booking.com (a trusted site)
Very disappointed

Avoid booking with Dream Apartments

I would avoid, there are plenty of better apartment options in Liverpool.

It’s a shame as we actually had a good stay in the Silkhouse Court apartments in December 2020, but like many others here I have yet to receive my deposit back.

I have contacted the company many times, one guy called Kevin did email back to say he was checking paperwork. That was 3 months ago.

We’ve just booked our next trip to Liverpool and have chosen somewhere with a better reputation.

I wish I’d checked Trust Pilot before booking, it’s so frustrating when you are cheated and conned.

If I could give this company 0 stars…

If I could give this company 0 stars then it would be more fitting!
Booked an apartment back on 1st June, received a call yesterday to tell me that they’d had a ‘glitch’ in their system and they could no longer accommodate us. Allegedly, their booking system had allowed people to book rooms already booked, technical glitches DO NOT take 5 months to come to light, they had simply rebooked my room to a higher bidder, The Killers are playing at the stadium on 1st June….BUT wait for it…I could rebook a one bedroom apartment and it would cost me a further £129 plus the £100 I’d already paid. I asked for a manger to call me back, but guess what..said manager was too much of a drip and clearly too spineless to call me back. Instead I received an email giving me the complaints procedure, which was the manager of the front desk….errrm what kind of a complaints procedure is that?? What a joke! Absolute clowns, steer well clear of this shabby set up! Oh and just to add, to get my money back I have to cancel my booking!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do not book with this company

Do not book with this company. Scammers get you in with pics of lovely apartment and at last minute change booking without permission to scabby and dirty 2 bed appartment with massive flight of stairs to get up.
