When you first get it, the mattress feels amazing. Just like sleeping on a cloud. Probably explains the many positive reviews after purchasing. But a few years on?

I’m in a better position now to offer an honest review of the dreamcloud mattress I purchased 4-5 years ago for just under £1000.

Over time the mattress has lost its tension and more on one side than the other. From looking at the surface the dip can be felt but its when you lie on it for longer than half an hour that you experience a sinking feeling as though you’re sleeping on a slope.

I bought this mattress because I have had a back injury and hoped it would offer the support needed. This mattress however has left me in more pain than ever before; stiffness is so bad in the morning I cannot bend for a couple of hours and it has made my sciatica worse.

I have reached out to the company to explain the issue and they arranged for an ‘independent assessor’ to come around. He took photos, slept on the affected area for less than 15 seconds before concluding that there was no fault. The company later informed me that they cannot replace the mattress as according to them there is nothing wrong with it and some sinkage is apparently expected due to normal wear and tear!

Sleeping on a slope every night waking up in agony is not normal wear and tear! Over the time I’ve had it, I have followed all the appropriate maintenance, turning it regularly, using a slatted bed base, etc. But because the dip isn’t more than 5cm ( they use a taut string to measure this, and measure this while there is no pressure being applied to it) it’s considered to not be faulty? Not a very sophisticated test.

Good quality mattresses should last at least 10 years. This one started showing problems 3 years in. The forever warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. If you haven’t purchased one, don’t waste your money or your time on this scam!

Good website with clear information on the product. It would have been helpful if the weight of the mattress had been listed but overall pleased with the service.

Great mattress so far, feels so comfortable, it is extremely heavy though for someone on their own to carry to a bedroom, can’t fault delivery. Was delivered on the date within the 3 hour window and even phoned with an approximate time.

The ordering process was simple and straightforward. Being able to choose the delivery day is very good. However, considering the weight of the mattress I feel it should be automatic that delivery is to the room rather than the front door with the option to pay for an ‘extra service’. As it turned out, the delivery team did not get your message about where to put the mattress so they left it at the foot of the stairs.

The mattress is just as described and very comfortable and supportive for my back. The ordering process was straight forward too. I would have given this a 5 star if the delivery service was better. I paid an extra £15 for the mattress to be delivered to a room of my choice (a first floor bedroom). However, the box (containing the machine compressed mattress) was left in the room with no offer from the delivery assistants to unpack it or to lift it on to the bed frame. As the mattress was super king size, I was unable to move it nor to lift it on to the bed alone and so had to wait a week until a relative could come to help me. That was disappointing.

Product good, delivery terrible. Asked to pick delivery date at checkout so selected convenient date and arranged collection of old mattress for the day before. Then got email from delivery agents stating they were delivering 4 days earlier. Changed all my plans. When delivery did arrive, despite being told it would be delivered to the room of my choice, it was dumped outside my front door and left for me, a 70yr old, to move it to the bedroom. Not impressed at all.

Extremely happy with the luxury mattress, now I know why they call it dream cloud.

Lovely mattress, very comfortable and we have both noticed a difference sleeping on it. Easy to order and arrived within given timeframe. Old mattress also taken away the following day - collection team arrived on time - all drivers friendly and helpful. Only slight downside I paid extra for the mattress to be delivered to a designated room in the house - what wasn’t clear - maybe I missed it - the mattress arrives vacuum packed in a box so we could have managed to take it upstairs ourselves and didn’t need to pay the extra.

Excellent service, excellent mattress, fantastic price - couldn't be happier!

So.... I had spent many many many weeks researching, reading reviews etc etc.

And took a gamble.

Ordered our superking dreamcloud mattress and added the separate 2 man pick up for the old mattress.

From start to finish... excellent service and straight forward process.

We are roughly several months on and I couldnt be more DELIGHTED by that previous gamble. Time shall tell on the lasting condition but we spin our mattress every month to even the wear.... but its FANTASTIC.

SUPPORTIVE...SOFT... LUXURIOUS!

The first 3 nights I was going to send the mattress back! It felt quite firm and strange……. I thought that I’d made a big mistake.
But after that time things got better. I would highly recommend this mattress as I, personally, love it - now the mattress knows me and vice versa I’m so comfortable and sleep very well. As a person with longstanding back pain, I no longer wake up with an aching back - thank you.

My new Dreamcloud mattress is far better than I expected. I really love it and am sleeping very well. Delivery and set up went smoothly. You do probably need two people to manhandle the mattress into position as it is quite heavy and well made. In all, I am most happy!

⭐ 1 Star – Avoid at All Costs

This DreamCloud mattress is an absolute disaster. It collapses, sinks, and offers zero proper support, which has caused both me and my partner continuous back pain. Instead of supporting your body, it sinks in a way that puts serious pressure on your spine and leaves you waking up stiff and sore every morning.

Another major issue is if one person is heavier than the other — the mattress sinks unevenly, and eventually the lighter person ends up rolling toward the heavier person. It’s like sleeping on a slope.

Their so-called “solution” during the trial period is to offer a mattress topper. Do not fall for this. It feels like a tactic to push you past the return window so they can refuse a return later. A topper doesn’t fix a mattress that’s already failing.

This is genuinely the most uncomfortable and disgusting mattress I’ve ever owned. Huge regret buying it and I strongly recommend avoiding DreamCloud completely.

From placing the order to receiving our new mattress the service was first class.
The excellent reviews were important to us as we considered rival suppliers such as Emma and Simba.
We really love our new mattress and we now both get a relaxing pain and trouble free sleep.
Definitely the best mattress that we have ever had and the best night's sleep.
I would definitely recommend DreamCloud!
Our next mattress will be a DreamCloud!

Great service throughout on my purchase of this mattress. After several weeks doing research, I went for this mattress based on reviews and sellers confidence with their product and I’m so glad I did. Mattress is very comfortable with perfect amount of support and comfort combined. The quilt and bed set also very nice, added luxury if you can. Would certainly recommend mattress and seller. Bought this mattress on the reviews. Wow what a difference, we honestly wake up with no back or hip pain. We had a Simba mattress before this, so I was a bit skeptical about buying it, but you also get a year to decide if its for you or not. Would highly recommend, me and my husband wake up every morning pain free.

Extremely pleased with the new mattress, firm and very comfortable. Have been using it for about 3-weeks and already finding the difference after having long term backache can honestly say pain is much improved.
Ordering and delivery was stress free. Unfortunately delivery delayed slightly due to adverse weather conditions, but we were kept informed on progress and eventually delivery arrived. Overall we have been delighted with first class service and delighted with our new Dreamcloud mattress.

I absolutely love my new mattress. It’s extremely comfortable and so much better than my other memory foam mattress. I have Fibromyalgia, my dream cloud mattress has allowed me to now have a good nights sleep. I no longer wake up in pain.
