PLEASE BE AWARE

PLEASE BE AWARE, THIS COMPANY ARE SCAMMERS! They will take your money but never send your items, please shop somewhere with a guarantee. They took £1000 of my savings and refused to refund me when i reported that the stock didnt arrive, PLEASE Dont allow them to scam you like they did me.

Terrible customer service

Dress itself wasn't too bad. However it took over 3 weeks to arrive (no longer needed as the event it was for had passed) and when I returned the dress they claimed not to have received it and after numerous emails back and forth over 2 months it never got resolved. I lost the money I spent on the dress and the cost of postage to return it!!!

One item from my order never arrived

One item from my order never arrived. It is useless to contact them as all comes from China, so no way they trace missed order (or no way you prove that item is missing). The quality is just horrible, the worse I have ever seen. Use it until first wash and then it goes into the bin. Sizes are all mixed up and really made for unrealistic type of bodies. Delivery... Do not trust them, takes way longer than promised. Just avoid them.

Do NOT buy from or trust Dresslink

1. Order arrived in about 3 days. Good but continue reading
2. Dresses were horrific material and definitely smaller than the U.K. sizes specified
3. No Returns note so Contacted them to ask for a return address and the time needed for a refund
4. They stalled via several emails by asking
- If I checked the size guide
- If I can send pictures of the dresses
- If I can keep the dresses and give them to “friends and family” for a small refund
- If I could keep the products and they’d give me £10 (Order was approx £130)
- A return address in China to which they would not pay shipment of course

Do NOT trust and do NOT buy from this online store. A .uk domain with a returns address in China is a no no.

The dress I ordered was out of stock…

The dress I ordered was out of stock and delivery would have been too late for me so I requested cancellation of my order and refund.
Customer service was good, I had prompt responses to a few emails and my refund was processed in a timely manner.
Can't rate the product but overall experience was OK.

DO NOT ORDER

Never received my order. Which they said because they didn't have the items so they didn't send them. But they refuse to give me money back they just keep making up lies and excuses. This has been on going with emails for over 3 months just trying to get my money back they stole from me. SCAM. HORRIBlE COMPANY

no item.. no refund... no communication.. still chasing for money

this company is horrific there website didn't record my delivery address correctly so i spent 3 weeks chasing yodel for it... after them telling me its being sent back to sender, i contact dress link to check they have it and ask for my refund but they keep telling me it was delivered . finally they say they will look into it after i sent them confirmation of it being returned via yodel and now they are not responding to my emails. what kind of business is this!!!1

I've ordered 5 night dresses from this…

I've ordered 5 night dresses from this website and I paid over £12 to get after delivery which is 4-6 days. I've ordered on 6th September and it's 12the September yet I haven't received my order. They don't have any contact detail on the website nor any email addresses. Please can anyone help me with any kind of contact information of them. I paid £58 and after I've read these reviews i can't sit back and relax, I need my dresses next Monday. Please guys help me find these thieves..

I bought a dress has a nice length that…

I bought a dress has a nice length that will fit most of us.This is a super affordable opportunity to get something glamorous and go for a variety of looks....at the beach it was a perfect throw on to go up from the beach to a patio restaurant to enjoy cocktails and a meal....I felt amazing in the 'look' .....I am sure they sell a similar look in high end beach boutiques for big dollars...hey, girls, we don't have to do that to look beautiful, sexy and like we spend a lot of money on our outfits...what more could we ask.

Has anyone reported this company

Has anyone reported this company? I've recently ordered three dresses total £75 and have not yet received them. It has only been 12 days (delivery said 5-11 days) so it may still turn up, but after reading these reviews I'm not going to hold my breath. I really wished I knew about this company before ordering. If I don't receive my order or get a refund (I wont be keeping the dresses now) then I will take this further.

Ordered a dress at the start of June…

Ordered a dress at the start of June for a wedding, received an email to say it had been shipped and to expect it in 10 days. On the 11th day I emailed them to be told it was out of stock - unsure as to how they had managed to send me an email saying it had been shipped when clearly it hadn’t been. I’m now left with no time to find anything and no dress for the wedding. Absolutely rubbish service.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. Ordered a dress for an event but when it has arrived it is not suitable. it arrived with no invoice or details on how to return. I contacted the company and asked them where to return it. I was told to keep the dress and they would give me a partial refund. I told them that this was unacceptable and I required a full refund. They then emailed me the address to send it to, which is in China! And told me that I am responsible for the shipping costs. As the dress was not expensive it is not worth returning it to pay expensive postage, so I am therefore out of pocket with a dress that is no good. Avoid ordering from them!

Everyones experience is different

After placing my order, I then decided to check the reviews (backward thinking or what!). After reading the reviews I wrote of the money I spent as a loss....lesson learned....and went and bought an outfit from a more reputable company.
However, 11days later my item turned up, looked actually like the picture displayed, fitted comfortably, everything was intact, looked good.
Additional Item (which cost twice as much) returned for a refund.
I am a happy customer.

Acceptable

Hello, shopped for 3 vintage dresses which arrived on time. The price vs quality ratio is frankly acceptable, considering that these clothes are very cheap (average price was below EUR 30). What is to be noted is that if you pick a model with a wide skirt, it will not be as ample as the one you see in the picture. Although Dress Lily has a disclaimer inviting to use a "petticoat" to make the skirts wider...a petticoat won't do as there is simply not enough fabric to achieve the vintage 50es effect.
I picked a size M and it was correct, even slightly larger than expected.

Not worthy of one star
This is by far the worst shopping experience that I have ever had. I placed the order for two items on the 31st January under the expedited 4 - 8 business day delivery period. The parcel was delivered on the 12th February, which is on the 8th working day, however the parcel was delivered quite late in the day and so I had already left for the event I needed the items for. As the parcel was delivered within 8 days I knew this was my own fault and should have ordered earlier however didn't expect any problems returning the order as I hadn't even needed to open the parcel.
I first contacted Dresslink by email on the 15th February regarding how to return the parcel however received an automated response that it was the China Spring festival and they would respond after the 21st. I was unaware that this was a Chinese company until this point as their website did not suggest this. By the 23rd I still had not heard back from them and was becoming quite worried due to only having 30 days to return the parcel and so emailed them again. I received a response on the 24th asking why I was returning the parcel. I explained my reasoning and that it was my mistake ordering too late. The response from the team was very rude, stating that I had ordered too late and it was not their fault I did not receive the item in time. I was quite shocked, and responded that I was not blaming them for not receiving the parcel and that I had ordered too late and no longer needed the items.
Finally the agent responded saying that I needed to send pictures of the returns, even though I had already explained I had not opened the parcel. I did not want to argue and just wanted my money back. I opened the parcel, took the pictures, sealed the parcel back and sent the pictures. The agent responded with their address on the 27th February and said I had to send them a picture of my post office receipt when returned. So I posted the items to them on the 28th and sent this via tracked delivery which was more expensive however I wanted to be sure my parcel would be delivered and provided Customer Services with a picture of the receipt.
I had received no response by the 5th March from my email and so re-sent the picture and told them the company the parcel was being sent back with. Dresslink said there is nothing they could do with this information and they needed an official link to track the order. I couldn't help feel like I was doing their job for them however again, I wanted my money back, and so went to the Royal Mail page and sent them a tracking link. By the 15th March I had still not heard back from them and the tracking showed the parcel had been passed to the international courier service so no further tracks would show on this link. I advised Dresslink of this and they responded that the tracking is not at their address and so there was nothing that could be done I simply had to wait and if the tracking did not show as delivered they would not refund me. I was very annoyed at this and so called Royal Mail, they were very helpful and gave me a different link which showed where my parcel was internationally. I advised Dresslink of this however I never received a response.
On the 6th April I had realised this was now over a month since posting my returns. I checked the tracking and the parcel was showing as "delivery attempted" for 3 days. I emailed Dresslink as I was very annoyed that I was awaiting my refund but they were refusing to accept the delivery. I did not receive a response. On the 7th April I checked the tracking again and it was showing as delivered so sent Dresslink another email, Dresslink came back to me on the 8th April saying that they would need to confirm this with the Warehouse and would get back to me. Surprise, surprise, by the 12th April I still had no email. I emailed them again, asking what the delay was as I just need my money back.
I received a response on the 13th that the Warehouse had not responded to them and that I needed to confirm which items I had returned. This was now the third time confirming which items I had sent back, I had already supplied them images of the items and so was very frustrated that I was again being asked this. I responded explaining that it was the full order I sent back.
Today, 14th April, I have received a response. They have advised that only one item was in the parcel and they would only refund one item, which conveniently was the cheaper product. I am absolutely livid. I have continually chased this order, provided all the relevant information and constantly chased my refund only to be told they would not honour this. I have responded with a picture of my postage receipt, which displays the weight of this parcel. The weight is far too high for only one item and so means that I have sent back the full order. If I do not receive a refund then I will then take this further. I have not received a response as of yet as this company does not work weekends which again prolongs the process.
I cannot advise people strongly enough to not use this company! They are liars and have awful Customer Service skills, how they are still in business is a mystery! PLEASE do not shop with them! The amount of stress this has caused has made me think is it even worth the refund however I am going to continue to chase this until I receive a full refund. I will update in the next few days once I have received a response.

Another frustrated customer

I ordered a few dresses from Dresslink before reading any of the bad reviews, but having read the returns policy saying they would give a full refund for any items returned. The order took 3 weeks to arrive despite saying a few working days by which time the occasion I wanted the dress for had past. So having battled with the customer service dept on email they agreed to me sending the items back and receiving a refund. I then paid the postage to return the dresses back to China and have of course not had any of my refund back. An expensive mistake on my part and sadly an untrustworthy company which doesn't give refunds. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

NEVER buy from this company

NEVER buy from this company! I ordered what I was led to believe were Birkenstocks but when I received them, they are fake, worthless, junk!! I can send them back for $35 shiping but then based on other reviews, I'll probably NEVER receive the refund. DON'T ORDER FROM DRESSLINK... unless you just want to throw away your money.
