I'm very satisfied, despite all negative reviews. Rented via Sunny Cars and rental procedure went excellent, from pickup at airport to end of rental period and back to airport with shuttle again. All staff were friendly. Would rent again. :)

Credit card scam!!! It seems to be a common theme of apparently not accepting credit cards or suggesting there is an issue with the credit card provider so that you HAVE to pay full coverage, which is quite frankly a full on SCAM.

Further more, we left something in the car only to be told it wasn't there when it categorically was. So I guess someone is walking around with a nice pair of sunglasses now.

I would also like to add that their own staff are adding reviews to try and boost the profile. If this isn't a scam, I don't know what is! Vlad Barbos, who is currently employed by Drivalia. Can't make it up!

I had an car for 5 days for an really good price. The station is good to reach, and the people there are really friendly. Especially Ismael is a good guy!

These people are thieves, avoid like the plague. I wish I’d read reviews before booking. We picked car up in torrential rain so had to inspect using torches on our phone, the car was already battered so previous renters had probably paid for damage that was never repaired. We drove straight to hotel, parked in secure underground car park and next used it to drive back to airport. On return they walked round and said damage under the front bumper. Damage obviously old and we would have known if we did this, it was split also, small marks on hubs (but NO scrape to tyre). They refused to acknowledge damage was obviously old and are charging for 3 scratches because we can’t prove they are old. This is a pattern reflected in other reviews, no doubt the damage has been charged to numerous previous clients and will be charged to many more. Luckily I have extra insurance via agent but this company are a bunch of crooks.

The car I got was a very good and nice car and Alberto was very friendly and helpfull.

Alberto from the office helped us and we are thankful. No delays, getting the car quick and when we returned the car is was also a quick process.

The credit card terminals at BCN airport gave a chip error when trying to leave my deposit. I have 3 credit cards with 3 banks in the US with valid funds, all of which were denied. I was forced to purchase the expensive insurance or lose the booking. For the purchase, my cards worked, but the deposit did not due to their technical issue. There is a known issue with their credit card terminals, which are programmed by a third-party. (At BCN airport, Centauro has the same terminals and I had the exact same problem with them. I had no issues with Hertz, for example.) Drivalia need to investigate it and solve it, because they will have a problem with all US clients. It's not my cards. It's their technical problem, and I was penalized for it. It's not right.

The company is completely unresponsive to both email and phone inquiries. I would go for zero star if possible.

Because we didn’t take out their insurance at Alicante Airport they found two faults with our car (which we only had for the weekend) one was scuffs on the wheels & the other a scrape under the back bumper which had clearly already been there as it was patched up and charged us €468.
Never Again would I deal with this company

The car was running really good, the service was nice, they even picked us up from the airport and drove their office, all good! Alberto in Barcelona’s office had really nice customer service!

Terrible experience. Long wait to pick up the car. Told me I needed breakdown insurance because if there was a breakdown I was responsible for the tow back to the yard, even if not my fault or responsibility.
Even worse, when I returned the car there were 2 tiny scratches that were so far under the front bumper they were not visible. Definitely not done by me. Told me to prove it. I took photos of the whole car but I would have had to have a camera under the front bumper to capture these. Definitely a scam because they were so hidden, but he knew exactly where to look. Stung me for repairs. Seems to be a common scam. Absolute rip off. Be warned and go elsewhere.

Silvia could not have been more helpful, she made the collection of the car so simple for me and helped me with anything I needed. If she was my employee I would give her employee of the month.
