Helpful and considerate

Driver Hire in East Kilbride has been terrific for me.I am not always available for work due to circumstances at home and the staff there have been very understanding and calling regularly to check my availability.cannot fault Lisa and her team.

Great Agency

Hi,

Have worked with driverhire east kilbride for close to nearly 4 months now and have never had a problem with shifts or the team,

Seeing these negative reviews is strange to me as the team at East Kilbride have gone above and beyond to make sure I have work and I'm always contacted well before about dates available and start times

Would definitely recommend Driverhire Easy Kilbride as an agency that has always made sure i'm well and available to work whenever they have a shift available for me

Great company and looking forward to many more working days.

Driver Hire first impressions

I'm only at the start of the course, but Matt is straight forward and polite, answered everything I asked confidently and always reply's to me quick with anything I need or ask. This course was also the cheapest I can find so happy days, looking forward to the course!

We have very high standards of customer satisfaction and our DVSA course audits are positive – however it’s important that we know when things go wrong, so that we can learn and improve for the future.

We are also sorry that you were unwell on the day of the training. For the benefit of others reading this review, we do always try to accommodate when plans change and as long as we are given reasonable notice in advance, we can usually amend bookings for an admin fee of £15.

The problem on this occasion was that you only contacted us after the course had already started. We don’t agree with your assertion that you have been “conned”. Our policy of not offering refunds for very late cancellations (or where a delegate does not attend a course), is normal practice across many different services, including many training providers.

WORST DRIVING AGENCY EVER

This is the worst driving agency you will ever get DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME filling in all the applications they are absolutely useless, I spent a lot of time signing up to this agency and got absolutely nothing for it. The women does not even speak proper English. GATWICK DRIVER HIRE ARE ABSOLUTELY USELESS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY.

Crewe Cheshire driver hire has been the best agency I've work for staff and Ower has always been respectful helpful and go above and bound never failed with pay even when I've been late on time sheets and kept me in work when other agency most agency didn't have anything would recommend to anyone

Thank you for your reply to my comments following your colleagues recent visit to my premises.
Let me clarify the only issue that was cleared up at the meeting was that there would be no offer of " goodwill "assistance relating to drivers causing an accident as this isn't something your business can retrospectively assist with.
What was offered was rates going forward as we now have a 12t vehicle and not a 7.5 t would be kept as per the rates for the original 7.5t .

As we have a large repair bill [ approx £580 ] owed to our client i had hoped that a goodwill credit on our account to assist with the bill would have been more of use , i would also have pointed out that should a credit have been raised i would have continued to work with your team to ensure that both parties could have worked together in the future , DH would have recovered more than their goodwill credit gesture and my business would havent had to cover all the cost for a repair which could easily have been avoided .But sadly this was turned down as it wasnt standard procedure !

To also clarify my comments relating to additional training .In the 2nd accident where your driver reversed into a clients panel van in the clients yard , i was asked by your colleagues if the vehicle had reverse sensors and cameras to which i replied yes.
I was then asked if we gave additional training [ prior to the driver taking the vehicle out on the road ] ,on the reversing sensors and on board cameras etc to which i said no as when the driver tells our warehouse manager he is comfortable with the vehicle we assume [ clearly wrongly ] that they have no issues.
Now the matter is closed with unfortunately no one " winning " i genuinely have no time to continue these reviews but i simply wanted to point out my comments re training and goodwill gestures.

Following on from my previous 2 reviews…

Following on from my previous 2 reviews regarding Driver Hire i have now had the meeting with the relevant personnel but clearly we cant resolve the issue which is unfortunate.
I wasn't under the impression that despite hiring drivers who i understood were experienced i should also have taken time to not just ensure the drivers were fully aware of the controls of the vehicle [ which we always do] but that we should have also provided training to the driver on the first day of hiring them.
Lesson learned but as we wont be using Driver Hire again it wont be something i will personally need to worry about.
Im sure the reply to my review will come back as always but the bottom line is that due to driving errors my business has been financially penalised with no offer of assistance other than " we can reduce your rates in future " .

Your suggestion that the drivers we supply would require additional “training” could be misleading to other readers. Our screening process is among the most rigorous in the business and regular surveys show that in general, customers are very satisfied with the drivers that are supplied. They will be fully “trained” for the assignment that the customer tells us they need to do. Our representatives intended to highlight that a detailed and appropriate induction is as important for any agency workers that you hire as it is for your own staff.

Sadly, with all the best intentions, things can still go wrong and we regret that this happened in your case.

We contacted the office in Exeter in…

We contacted the office in Exeter in regards to using them for a class 2 driver that we needed in our Exeter depot, was told we needed to get registered and this would be emailed over, nothing came after five days so had to call again to remind them to send it and was told it would be sent, a week later still nothing has been sent.

We have now gone with another agency.

Issues

I’ve been with driver hire for a long time using my 7.5t licence.

I recently got my class 1 and 2 and wanted to put them to use. Which seemed to be fine

I let them know that I had been diagnosed with Autism and Sleep Apnea and that I used a CPAP machine to help with my sleep apnea and also, that once in a blue moon, I can have a bad night and feel crap in the morning and am not any use to anyone.

It just so happened that this happened on the first job I’d got from them after passing my test and obviously didn’t know until the morning so had to let them know and no matter how many times I email them and explain the situation, they with don’t get back to me or say say I can’t be trusted or say they’ll get back to me.

Hi I've been signed on with Driver Hire…

Hi I've been signed on with Driver Hire Exeter for just over 12 months as a driver. The staff in Exeter are very friendly approachable and professional in their approach to me. I'm always paid on time by end off the following week.
During my time with Exeter branch they always ring for my availability for the following week and when assignments are available will ring and ask if I would like to do it they never force any work i didn't won't to do
At this time they have found me a temp to perm job
I thoroughly recommend them for any one to sign up with I will give them 10/10

Lies from driver hire

Went to Accrington office filled in application pack the agency told me they get me the work and not heard nothing for a week so I rang driver hire up lad called Dan who delt with me then turned round and said that I was not qualified or did not know what I am doing bearing in mind I am class 1 driver class 2 driver and also Psv driver for two years and this driving agency says I don't know what I am doing but the people who work at driver hire don't even have bloody car license
