My drone had a crash I thought it was a right off but Drone Doctor fixed it 😃 I got it back and it looked brand new again great service great price and original parts all done within a week BRILLIANT 👍👍👍👍👍👍

What an absolute rip off

What an absolute rip off, broke the gimble bracket which is a bit fiddlie for someone with my eye sight so I thought I'd use Drone doctor. I paid £350 for my drone, sent it off as planned and got a list of unbelievable claims of damage, it was just a snapped gimble bracket but non the less I ear marked £200 for the repair, when the quotes came in I was stunned to see the repair would cost more than I paid for the drone, ALOT MORE, and the wait time they quoted before I sent the drone off was 3 to 4 days express but that changed, ended up telling me it would take 3 to 4 weeks because they were EXTREMELY busy "due to Corvid" when are companies and people going to stop using that as an excuse for poor service and personal standards. It's going to cost me £20 to get my drone back and £80 for a new gimble bracket which I'll fit myself thank you, £400+ for repair? Are yo
u out of your £u(king minds?!?!?

I'm sorry you are unhappy with our pricing.

I'm not sure where we said it would take 3-4 weeks or where we said this was "due to covid"? At present we quote 5-7 working days on our website and generally, repairs are actually completed within one or two days, however we prefer to over quote on lead times just in case there is a problem. In this case we said it might take 8-10 working days when the job was quoted due to high demand. Nothing to do with covid, so I don't know why you said that.

I would appreciate anyone reading this review to understand that the "due to covid" and "3-4 weeks" is fabricated information.

As for pricing, £63.74 of the total of £382.45 that was quoted is VAT, which is paid directly to HMRC.

Your drone was quoted for many more components than just the gimbal mount. Most arms require replacement and the gimbal itself requires repair and new cables fitting. If it were just a gimbal mount quoted for then we charge around £120 for this.

From the remaining £318.71 you can deduct postage and packaging costs, leaving approximately £295.

You can then deduct parts costs of £170. From the remaining amount we have to cover labour costs for inspection, quotation, repair, testing, consumables etc...

We issue quotes before going ahead with any work so that customers can decide what to do. That is what we advertise, so I'm not sure what to say as we've simply done what was advertised.

Exceptional, Highly Reccomended

Highly recommend this company. Extremely professional and an incredibly fast service. Needed a fast turnaround for work, our Phantom 4 Pro was shipped from our home address using their free postal label, repaired and back with us all within 3 days! The work done was exceptional, we were kept up to date every step of the process and there is someone on the end of a phone if required....rare these days! Thank you Drone Doctor.

cannot say a bad word about these people, sent my drone on a Monday morning, it was on its RTH.(lol) by that Friday. now bearing in mind the travel time took a day and a half each way. work assessed on the Wednesday and quote given and accepted. Thursday repair carried out, then checks made, three stages to this, fix / repair / and quality control inspection. all done by different people each time, accompanied with check sheets.
so i get my baby buzz home and do my checks, as you do.. finding out the release of DJI fly new updates have been installed as well. (WOW) . top notch service, fully recommended.. the only thing they could improve on is come round and chainsaw that dam Triffid tree that ran out in front of my buzz baby. thank you to all that participated to make me a happy bunny again.

I crashed my Inspire2 hard (Gutted)…

I crashed my Inspire2 hard (Gutted) DroneDoctor was called, Inspire2 sent, Fixed within the week!!
How ever my X7 had to back to DJI. The guys at DD kept me up to date daily, These things happen right? but there was a problem, UPS!! zero customer service and delays! DroneDoctor stepped up to the plate, they evern offered me their camera.
Great service from start to finish, everything was dealt with really professionally.
I'll alway use DroneDoctor IF and when I crash again.
