Firstly to be able to chat with you guys throughout the process makes it very personal just like taking a pet to a vet lol, I guess it's reassuring to know your getting a good honest update as to how it can be fixed and made safe.
It's also great to get options for how it can be fixed.
Price although a little expensive, when considering your time and parts is good and reasonable enough to always use your service if ever needed.

Very expensive
Pros, website is easy to use and you can see where your drone is in the repair process.
Cons, quotes for motor repair on top of cracked gimbal and there were no problems with the motor that I had experienced.
Extortionate cost for repair. I could have nearly bought a new drone for the same money.
Wouldn’t use again, I’d buy a second hand drone instead.

Hi Owen,
I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service. Looking at your repair job, I was surprised to see that you in fact accepted the repair quote, despite you now being unhappy with the price. Additionally, it does not appear that you contacted us at any point to query your repair quote, especially your concern that the motor arm did not require replacement. Had you contacted us then perhaps this matter could have been investigated and I've no doubts you would have been satisfied with the outcome. Your quote did nevertheless come to around half the value of a new drone, which considering that we replaced the most expensive part (the camera and gimbal), seems acceptable value to me. I must also point out that our average repair cost across all models of drone is in fact less than 1/4 the cost of a new one, so it is almost always considerably cheaper to use us than it is to replace a drone.
As for price, we actually have the lowest pricing in the UK for full gimbal replacements on a Mavic Air 2. Unfortunately the cost of a second hand drone is not something we can factor, as the price of the parts and labour do not reduce over time this can leave some repairs appearing to be poor value. Indeed this is exactly why we provide a quote before we carry out any work.
With respect to the motor arm on the drone, we do not quote for any items which are unnecessary, this would be disingenuous. The motor and arm are supplied as one unit, and so either the motor bearings on your drone were damaged, or the arm itself. I fear this complaint is simply a misunderstanding however you did not query any of this before or after accepting the repair quotation.
In any case I am sorry that you are unhappy with the service, though if you have any problems please simply contact us as we'll be happy to help.
