Dr Tint was recommended to me by two friends - one was a former patient and the other was a health care professional who has worked in eye care for over 20 years.

His initial consultation was extremely thorough with clear explanations of cataract surgery and the likely risks and outcomes. He took me through the various lens choices and pointed out the pros and cons of each. I found his approach very professional, with realistic expectations of what I could expect if I proceeded with the surgery.

The surgeries were completed a fortnight apart and both went extremely smoothly. He has a calm demeanour during surgery and spoke me through what was happening during the procedures. I found this very reassuring.

After each surgery he was in regular contact to check progress and to make sure that I was happy with my aftercare.

Since having the surgery I no longer need to wear the glasses that I was heavily reliant on, so I am delighted to be typing this review without the need for my varifocals!

My nervousness at the approach of two cataract operations was put at ease each time from the moment I approached reception. Theatre was a particularly friendly place of chatter and talk. Dr Tint’s call to get started was immediately followed by the team’s individual responses to his commentary. The results of both operations have been completely satisfactory and helpful.
The analogy of the tap of a conductors’s baton followed by satisfying performance is very apt.

I cannot praise highly enough Dr Tint. Due to my extreme myopia I was not the simplest of cases but at all times felt in very safe hands.Results were excellent which is due to Dr Tint's expertise and care and over a year on have experienced no problems whatsoever. No more bottle top glasses for me!! From the initial consultation, through surgery and then post-surgery check-ups I have felt in safe hands. I had lens replacement surgery on both of my eyes recently. All I can say is from the initial appointment to check my eyesight to see if replacement surgery was viable, to the last appointment making sure everything was ok, Dr. Tint was very professional. Dr.Tint stated from the outset that if the surgery wasn’t for me he would tell me. I was very reassured by this. All in all, I would definitely recommend Dr.Tint for his knowledge and patient care.

I recently had lens replacement surgery carried out by Doctor Tint and his team. The result is absolutely amazing. I now have near perfect vision without the need for spectacles and/or contact lenses which I have depended on for some sixty years. I had excellent treatment from Dr Tint and his team who performed two cataract operations and subsequent laser treatment. My eyesight has dramatically improved and I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Tint.

I was very apprehensive when I first went to see Doctor Tint about the cataracts in my eyes but he was so relaxed and helpful that he put me at ease right away. The surgery went ahead within a few weeks with no problems and I was amazed at how well I could see within a few days. I was refered to Dr Tint for a pyteregyium Surgery in july 2018. I must admit my first interaction with him even before the procedure gave me alot of confidences in him as a professionals. He knew what he was talking about and he made it sound easy and it took my fear for the surgery away.
On the day of surgery both Dr. Tint and his team were not only professional about their job but had an amazing human relation such that i didnt feel i was actually undergoing a procedure.
The Surgry was very successful and neatly done.
Post surgery care was super even though i had to travel back home to Ghana to heal, Dr Tint constantly checked on me and was in contact with my GP in Ghana to ensure proper care was given duing the healing process.
It has been a year now after the surgery and there hasnt been any complication whatsoever.
Dr.Tint is not just professionally excellent but he has a big heart that cares for his patients.
