Avoid

DryEase are a strange company to deal with. Initially they are responsive to emails looking for help troubleshooting the dehumidifier I bought from them several months earlier. Once apparently it was broken they stopped responding entirely. I can only surmise they don’t want to replace.

Don't touch them with a bargepole

Big mistake. Bought a dehumidifier in September. It worked for eight months. This company doesn't want to know . Don't bother emailing a complaint because it will just be ignored. Rubbish machine and even worse customer service.
Doesn't merit even 1 star.

Broke after 6 months

The dehumidifier works but it's not quiet. In fact I have used this for maybe 6 months before it started smelling like burning. There were also some bizarre noises coming from the unit. No response from Dry Ease whatsoever. This is a relatively expensive dehumidifier and there are cheaper options out there that do the same job.

Absolute scam. Avoid at all costs

Product doesn’t work, customer service is laughable, complete scam - wouldn’t purchase from them again.

The website is very misleading as to the size and capability of their dehumidifier. The pictures make it look like a considerably larger unit than it is, and their claims about its efficacy when it comes to water removal must, presumably, be entirely fabricated.

When I contacted their customer support team for a refund, I was told I could return it to China at my cost, but was never once given an actual address despite asking for it daily for over a month.

If you’ve purchased one of these, get in contact with your credit card company ASAP for a full refund, as this is a complete scam wrapped up in a UK “front”.

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY.

Bought one for £168. Didn't work, contacted company they just stalled and keep saying the same thing over and over. Told me send it back to China for £65 and then I would get a refund minus the £65.
I didn't get my money at all.
TOTAL SCAM AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

SCAMMERS NOW TRADING AS COVATAR

Scam company from China who do not reply to messages. Their dehumidifier DOES NOT WORK. Had to go through my bank to get a chargeback. Check out Covatar Trustpilot reviews as they are the same sham Chinese company. Also check out Covatar scam on facebook and a Dehumidified podcast as a BBC producer also fell for this scam. There are unfortunately a lot of us who have been conned let’s put a stop to it !!!

Useless. Don't waste your money

Similar to other reviews, I've been using this for a couple of months now - it has been running 100% of the time and barely reduces the overall humidity in the room. I thought this was maybe due to being in a large open area so moved it to a small enclosed room - same thing, except now it's started to leak all over the floor...and is still extracting minimal amounts of humidity.
I notice the dryease website no longer exists and they appear to have rebranded to raveno with a dot co do uk website, and exactly the same product.

I brought this dehumidifier in…

I brought this dehumidifier in September 2024, doesn't do what the advertisements said, you only get a few droplets of water after it's been on all night. It's not fit for purpose. Im trying to get a refund from the company but they don't want to know, keep getting me to try different thing, but it's still not working how it should, I'm still trying to get my money back but they don't want to know. I'm not giving up, stay away from this company.

Not even worthy of 1 star. Do not buy from this company! Not based in the UK and our humidifier has never arrived but they are refusing to give me a refund feeding me every line of nonsence posisble. This has been going on since September and still no refund. Complete scam. Please ignore any sponsored reviews which we fell for.

Totally useless

I bought this dryease dehumidifier for £138.00 and it is total rubbish. After days of having it on in a very moist damp bathroom, or by my wet washing it will only collect a few drops of water. Another dehumidifier will have a few litres full in the same time my one will collect a few drops. Definitely don't buy this!

Scammers!

Scammers!! The dehumidifier I bought was recommended on a ‘best value’ site. Clearly these are ‘sponsored’ sites and not to be taken seriously. The dehumidifier does not work effectively and is not fit for purpose. I contacted them several times about the poor collection of water, compared to other machines. They sent standard letters initially with a 3% refund, then 5% now 8% refund OR return to China at my expense. As for our consumer rights-They are not interested! Stay away!

Scam company do not be taken in by…

Scam company do not be taken in by their Website. They are not based in the UK The goods come from China and don’t even work , returning them for a refund is extremely costly and even then the company only offered 3% refund. There is no phone number listed so you can’t speak to anyone. They are now operating under a different name and before Dryease they operated under at least 2 other names. They do this to try to avoid people getting wise to their scams. Look at the reviews carefully and watch the video that appeared on BBC regarding these scammers. The reviewer who they quote as endorsing their product categorically denies ever having reviewed anything for them and accuses them of stealing his identity ( he has involved the police). Even some of the few good reviews appear fake because if you look at other products the people have reviewed they have reviewed the same products at around the same time and said very similar things.

Starting to think I have been conned

Starting to think I have been conned. It broke down within a week. I have sent many emails, there is no contact number. They email back as an automated message. I paid by credit card so I will call my back and report it.
I only bought this one as it came up from an independent review as number one best. Now I think they set that up too. Don’t buy this.

scam

I believe this is a scam. I purchased a dehumidifier, but after one week, I discovered that it did not work and was simply a waste of my money, time, and energy. When I tried to return it and request a refund, they sent me automated emails and changed their website name (Raveno). As a result, I informed my bank about the situation.

It's a scam

It's a scam. Customer service is useless in providing a refund, only gives instructions how to proceed with a dehumidifier that doesn't work. I thought I was buying a Dryease product and the page goes to Raveno. It's a scam and now I am poorer by £138. Already filled in a complaint with Action Fraud and police.
