Appalling quality, awful customer service; complete rip off

This company in my experience are con merchants. They do not respond to emails, provide contact details, or answer the phone. Dealing with this company is the worst purchase experience I have ever had.
Purchased an 800 surround shower enclosure. It was missing fitting instructions, door handles and hinges. After getting the company to send these out I fitted the surround, only to find that the plastic strip that fits to the bottom of the door to prevent water from spilling over was warped and faulty. Durovin will not replace this because apparently I did not flag up that the part was faulty in the first place.
Durovin do not check products before they leave the ware house; they consider that this is the customer responsibility and the customer is accountable.
Apparently I am supposed be able to check every single part on delivery to determine if it meets with quality control standards. They refuse to take responsibility and accountability for their mistakes. It is clear to me they are just sending out junk that does not fit the images or descriptions of products they advertise on-line, which is what they sent me; a shower surround with missing parts and faulty parts that they will not replace. They have told me that I can buy them from them, because obviously I should have to pay for this junk twice!!!

Shower door never arrived

I have no idea how their products are because the shower door I ordered from Durovin never arrived. This is because Durovin uses GP Logistics as their courier service, which I have since discovered is the shoddiest, shadiest group of cowboys operating. For a long time after my order I heard nothing from anyone about when it would be delivered, I started following up with Durovin about 10 days after my order was placed, just to be told I needed to contact GP Logistics directly (sorry, but this is the courier service you elected to use, not me, you should take on the responsibility of making sure they communicate with your customers about delivery dates). Fast forward and after nearly a month of emails and calls with both Durovin and GP (always initiated by me, they never bothered to get in touch with me about anything) a delivery date was finally scheduled and confirmed in, with a 12:00 - 15:00 slot. By 14:40 on the day there was no still sign of them, so I called GP Logistics to get an ETA, only to learn "Oh, your shower door didn't get put on the truck this morning." From reading other reviews of GP Logistics, this is a common occurrence. It then took a number of more emails between myself and Durovin demanding a refund of my never-returned goods before they finally processed it. Alas, I've lost a month so now my entire bathroom refurb is delayed.

So mad with myself for not reading the…

So mad with myself for not reading the reviews first,I ordered a glass sliding door,when we was installing it (2an lift)the door shattered into a thousand buts causing cuts to my wrist and deep cuts to my fingers where I was holding it,I
Send a email with all evidence,and there replie was,we are grateful that anyone wasn’t seriously hurt,but unfortunately you won’t be getting a refund because we believe you smashed it,, could not believe it seriously disgusting company and I shall be going to my credit card company to get my refund

Sorry to hear about your experience. You reported to us that the glass door exploded in your hands whilst installing it. Please be aware that safety glass will have smashed in to tiny pieces when the corner was knocked on something. This would not be classed as defective glass. Defect safety glass would have broken into big sharp pieces instead of thousands of small pieces like you described. We can provide a compliance certificate for all of our products. Also, we always recommend that our products are installed by a professional/qualified plumber to avoid improper installation. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Waste of money, positive Amazon reviews are fake

Purchased item via Amazon as good price and very positive reviews at the time. Item has been installed for less than 6 months and all these black patchy marks have appeared all over the sink, looks horrendous and needs replacing. Looking at the rest of the reviews here Amazon reviews I saw at point of purchase must be fakes, not holding out much hope of a resolution from Durovin, avoid this company completely, products look good in pictures but aren’t fit for purpose.

Have finally had a response from Durovin, 16 months after my original complaint. No resolution offered. Terrible customer service. Avoid this company like the plague!

However, I can confirm that all of our stone resin basins have a sealant over the top to protect the stone material underneath and should be cleaned lightly with warm soapy water. DO NOT use scouring powders/pads , abrasive cleaners, vinegar, lemon juice or other cleaners containing acids; DO NOT use concentrated bleach or Tar based shampoo. The ceramic basins also have a nano coating to allow for easy cleaning.

Ordered a sink with waste pipe and…

Ordered a sink with waste pipe and shower enclosure. Sink arrived with no waste pipe and shower enclosure with incorrect fix panel (!)
8 days after having notified of the missing parts I am still waiting for the replacement
Took 3 days and 40 mails back/forth to agree with a solution (the obvious one - just sent the missing/incorrect parts...) And still waiting for it

Unfortunately cannot recommend this company

AVOID AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDED ON IT

As everyone else here.. ordered a shower. Wrong size, parts missing, holes drilled in wrong place. Huge gap in glass. Emailed company. Apparently it's all my fault. My fault I didnt check all the parts on delivery. Am.i meant to know the glass is too big or the holes are in the wrong place? Now it's my builders fault. They fitted it wrong. He didnt read the instructions right.
The instructions that weren't in the box! Apparently that's my fault too. It's also my fault that I ordered it during a pandemic when my builder couldn't get to me within the requisite time because of lockdown to even know the parts were wrong. Absolute joke!! I have written to Jeff Bezos from amazon to understand why he allows such scammers on amazon. I now have to rip out the faulty shower and pay for a new one out of my own pocket. Avoid these scammers at all costs!

Avoid at all cost.

I wish I had read the reviews here before buying. What I don’t understand is the Amazon reviews paint a very different picture. I purchased a toilet which when i checked the dimensions turned out to be different to the advertised toilet. I checked this out with them and the reply was that that basically it was my fault. To make sure I had got it right I checked on the Amazon website and they had removed the dimensioned drawing plus some other parts of the description. Needless to say we went back and forth with eventually them telling me the toilet I ordered was sold out so they supplied a different one and I should have checked with them. After speaking with Amazon they agreed a refund but wouldn’t cover the delivery. I then got an email telling me they wouldn’t accept the return as it was too late, which it wasn’t. Spoke to Amazon again and then lo and behold an email arrived while I was on the phone saying they would accept the return. To avoid any more delay I drove to Walsall from Kent and delivered it back to them. After examining it as if it was a new born baby they reluctantly gave me a returns note saying returned for credit. I did get my money back but it cost me time diesel frustration and brain ache. Avoid at all costs. Why are Amazon allowing these people to trade on their site. Something is very wrong here.

This is the worst company ever

This is the worst company ever. I bought a toilet from them through Amazon. It arrived broken, so I sent them an email and photos. They replied to say that it wasn't broken, 'just an unglazed area'. I sent them a further email with better quality photos and photos of the chipped off ceramic. They acknowledged it was broken, and replied as follows:

Hi,

We can confirm that the toilet can still be used. We would be willing to issue a partial refund to compensate for the damage.

Please advise how you wish to proceed.

If you would like a replacement toilet pan, please dispose or smash the toilet and send us some some images as proof.

Once, we receive these images we can send a replacement toilet pan only (Please keep the toilet seat that you currently have).

This is the worst company you can ever…

This is the worst company you can ever buy from. The customer service will find ways to refuse any returns even when it is defective when it is shipped. As soon as you purchase, the product is yours. I have received a broken toilet and I rejected a broken toilet without opening the box and now it is my fault. I also noticed the box was not properly packed and didn’t come with a secure-wrapped pallet. I am not going to let a retailer shop bully a customer in this manner, and this is now getting reported to an ombudsman.

RIP OFF UNCARING TRADERS

I fail to understand how Amazon can tolerate bogus traders like this. Do not buy from these rogue traders. They are very quick to take your money and also very good at misrepresenting true facts in their description of the item. I will not bore the reader with detail but these sellers do not represent the truth in descriptions, are rude to their customers, refuse a refund and so on and so on., Its almost like they trade under different rules to what we expect in the western world. Avoid like you would coronavirus, these people are not genuine decent traders

Well where do I start!!

Well where do I start!!! Ordered and paid for a glass canopy roof. When it was delivered it was signed for & marked down by myself as UNCHECKED as with covid, they wouldn't wait while it was opened & checked. We videoed the package being opened to find very deep scratches on the glass. We emailed the video over to them with their instructions on having 7 days to notify them of any damage to be told...no the package was already opened and we've done the scratches...even though you can see the tape and packaging on the box being opened. When I tried to call I was told I couldn't speak to anyone about it. They aren't interested once they've got your money. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE RIPOFF MERCHANTS YOU GET DAMAGED GOODS AND THET DONT GIVE A S**T AND WONT REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS.

Worst experience ever

Well where do I start ... We ordered two basins and we received one that was ok and the other was damaged . It obviously wasn’t checked before it was sent as it was in the basin and not a delivery issue. We were told we could not exchange the basin and would have to wait for a refund and order it again. We ordered again and guess what ? It arrived damaged. We asked for a replacement but this is where it became rediculous. After this durovin decided they would not send us another basin and actually blocked us from even putting one in our basket. Not on one site but three. They knew we needed two basins but caused us nothing but trauma. They have no quality control and zero customer service. Another company were much more helpful. Horrendous company, they have no thought for people and what they are going through. Avoid at all costs. If we could have given zero stars then we would have. Awful awful awful experience. It’s a real shame as there basin were the ones we wanted. You have lost several customers and order because of this. I hope you carry out training and some quality control in the future.

Very poor

Laughable if it wasn't such a loss of money. Like 95% of the people responding it has been an awful experience. They do not have a clear guide on "free delivery" exclusions. Anywhere in Scotland is extra not just what they say on the list.
The goods were damaged on delivery and the replacement was not acceptable as by the time i received itmainly due to very poor communication, I had to buy another. I did not accept the delivery but somehow the goods mysteriously became damaged and that was my fault. A really bad experience

Bunch of Cowboys

I have never come across a company with such a poor customer service. I bought a product that is faulty and they refuse to action it. I send e-mails that are not returned, I make phone calls that are not returned and when you finally speak to someone, you get the standard answer “I’ll speak to a manager and get back to you”. And guess what - No Reply
Companies selling goods on-line and not meeting their legal requirements should not be allowed to trade. If you value your money, avoid this company like the plague.

Awful customer service and avoid buying…

Awful customer service and avoid buying their products! I bought through amazon and the description of the product does not match what they send you. I ordered one of their satin finish sinks through amazon (on their website this particular model comes in white matte or white gloss). I received a white gloss sink, not satin finish. I requested a refund as they had sent the wrong sink to be told by them that this sink does not come in gloss.... funny that their own website lists the white gloss option and that I have a white gloss sink sitting in my hallway. The company said I can have a refund, but I have to cover the cost of sending the 18kg sink back. I do not want to pay to send back the incorrect item they have sent me, if they just emailed a paid postage label to me this would be resolved and they would have their gloss sink back. Instead they lie about not having a gloss version of the sink and the lady on the phone tells me that the satin finish is not about how it looks, but the ‘feel’ of the sink.... it would help if their employees knew what the terminology they are using actually means rather than purposely trying to mis-sell their products to customers in the hope that you will keep the product to save the cost of posting it back. The matte version of the sink has been out of stock since 2018 so in fact the only option available is white gloss. How about changing the description to white gloss instead of white satin.... oh no because then you won’t sell as many sinks to unsuspecting customers!

They have to be shut down

As a trade person I have never seen such a bad attitude and customer service in my 27years of trade life!
Poor quality, they made a mistake on my order, had to drive to pick up item my self after 7hours of driving bothway and had to drive again yesterday to pick up them mistaken item, was offered 30 pounds off when I spent 90 Gbp on my guy and 80GPB on diesel!
Will never use them again and don't trust their product. Made in China cheap stuff.

Stay away, from this substandard company

What a poor company, there products are not fit for purpose, and there customer service is appalling. It's hard, actually impossible to understand the staff, no one calls back, and the customer services is none existent.
