Having looked into your order, I can see that an estimated dispatch date of 6th April was clearly provided at checkout prior to payment, and this was also confirmed in your order confirmation email. In fact, your order was delivered on 2nd April, ahead of the estimated timeframe.
We offer over 16,000 product lines, each with varying lead times. Some items are available for next working day delivery, others within 3–4 working days, and some may take 2–3 weeks. This is due to stock being sourced from multiple warehouses across Europe. Operating this way allows us to offer a much wider range, helping customers find exactly what they are looking for.
That said, we always aim to be fully transparent with lead times and ensure these are clearly communicated before any payment is made.
For that reason, we’re naturally disappointed to receive a 2-star review, particularly as we strive to provide clear expectations, competitive pricing, and excellent aftercare. All of this information was available to you prior to payment to help you make an informed purchasing decision. As your order was delivered earlier than advised, we do feel this review is somewhat unfair, as there is little more we could have done in this instance.

Good information. Easy to order and reasonable price. It's in the style of old fashioned lamps, but of course nowadays items are always less substantial, which is why I only give it 4 stars. It is well made and perhaps with a little patina it will look more substantial with time. Full review will only be possible in a while as it is meant to last when installed outside. As viewed online and as delivered it matched the description and would recommend it.

We do expect this fitting to develop a natural patina over time, as described on the website. The galvanised finish will always appear brighter and shinier when first installed, before it begins to weather.
